Good looking SoundBar. Found two things i disliked. First thing was the soundbar does not have a main power on / power switch. Second thing is when the soundbar is powered off using the soundbar remote; and after about 1 minute the soundbar will automatically power itself back on. otherwise not a bad piece of equipment. Polk support said to reset the bar. That didn't work.

My first Soundbar purchase and I've purchased other Polk Audio products before. It has a very full sound and some EQ adjustments for clearer voice etc. Comes with a small remote but the unit can be linked to your TV's remote, jut read instructions on how. This one doesn't come with a subwoofer and that's why I bought it. If your looking for room shaking bass, Polk makes other units with subwoofers. The soundbar will power up after your tv is powered up which is a great feature.

I was content on getting something a bit different then this, but I’m pretty satisfied with the audio it puts out!

Bought as a Christmas gift for my son. Sound quality is as expected. Easy setup.

It was only a step above what my new Sony 70" 4K Tv was putting out. Didn't need to rock the house but I was hoping for a little punch without having to do a sub-woofer. Nice, easy to set-up unit but not worth having an additional device.

Excellent sound for the $$$...but...Extremely poor remote! I have to constantly move my arm around for the bar to recognize the remote. New battery made no difference.

Speaker is not bad for its price. Nothing special. It just makes the sound louder. Would rather spend a little more to get better sound

Good sound and really helps with hearing soft voices in movies etc.

great soundbar… to much power for the small room that I got it for lol

We wanted something that would be minimally intrusive for a TV in an extra bedroom (room is about 18x20 in size), so no separate sub was wanted/needed. So, keep in mind that this is a soundbar only, no subwoofer as you read this. This Signa solo replaced an older soundbar we had in the room. As soon as we turned this new bar on, the difference was immediately noticeable, subtle midrange tones that we never noticed before were present, and the bass, while not room shaking, was actually present and sounded pretty good for a 2.0 system. At normal to about 75% of full volume, this soundbar delivers very good sound, above this volume the sound can distort depending on what you are listening to. Sound separation is decent, not as good as the higher end systems we have in our family rooms (Yamaha YAS 207 and Sony HTNT5), and you won't notice a huge difference in the various sound modes offered. Sound from TV and movies sounds very good at moderate volumes, and at volumes loud enough for movie night, but streaming music is hit or miss- music that had lots of highs and lows sounds good, but less vibrant music can sound a little flat. This bar exceeded our expectations for a 2.0 soundbar, and the bass, while not room shaking or incredibly dynamic, is sufficient for normal listening and an occasional movie night. It can fill the room with full, rich sound, but not at ridiculously loud levels.... It's more than we need, but might not be enough for some. Cons: -small, flimsy remote -no HDMI -can distort at loud volumes - no clear indicators for volume, bass, or other levels Pros: + sounds good for an inexpensive soundbar + looks much more expensive than it is + great improvement over TV speakers + easy set up + works with programmable/intelligent remote If you are on a budget, and/or don't need a separate sub, it's hard to go wrong with this at this price point. If you have a small to medium sized room, or are in an apartment where noise transmission is an issue, I think this would be ideal. However, if you want to be wowed with a wall of sound, look elsewhere. If you can spend another $50-100, there are better sounding options, such as the incredible for the price Polk Signa S1, or the Yamaha YAS107 if you don't want a separate sub. But as a general improvement over your TV's speakers, this will work just fine. Just go into the purchase knowing it does not have a sub, and have realistic expectations as to what kind of sound this inexpensive bar can deliver.

I have another Polk soundbar I love. Bought this one in October for another tv. Sound completely stopped working last month. I tried hooking it up to different devices to include bluetooth devices it had worked with. Have not had luck with manufacturer.

I have had this soundbar for four years now and used it with three different TVs, many many hours a day. Time after time it has always made an instant improvement in sound quality. If you just can't bear the tin can sounds of stock TV speakers, then this is exactly the soundbar you are looking for, cheap yet high quality. I can finally afford a much more expensive and involved sound system, but you can bet that this soundbar is still going to be used with my other TV. For a little over $100, you really should not be expecting much, but my expectations have far been transcended, and I believe yours will be too.
