Hello...if i purchased 5 of these google nest mini’s(2nd generation), if i ask it to play music, can i get all five speakers to sync together and play same music at the same time or would i have to command each and every nest mini? Thanks in advance
Answered by Nest SupportAbsolutely! You can sync music on all 5 of your Google Nest Minis by creating a speaker group in the Google Home app. After you create the speaker group, simply say “Ok Google, play music on <group name>" to initiate playback on your home group. How far can the speakers be from the hub? Or how close does it have to be?
Answered by Nest SupportHi Range, Nest Mini uses Bluetooth 5.0 technology which has a transfer rate of up to 2 mbps and works good even in congested environments. So you can place your Nest Mini anywhere from 10 to 20 meters from the hub.
What is difference between first and second generation google mini?
Answered by Kmahaj2I did a bunch of research before buying the google nest mini 2nd gen, so here’s my take. I already have 3 gen 1 minis in my home, and have even gifted a few. I can positively say that the 2nd gen is MUCH better. It’s a lot more sensitive to “hey google,” so much so that I’ve tried mumbling and muffling my voice just to test it and it worked! There is a mute button on the 2nd gen that comes in handy. It also has a little spot on the underside that lets you hang it up instead of leaving it on a table- this furthers its ability to hear you better.
