Outgrew my other switch and this is just what i needed. It also came with a great price. Much faster switch than my smaller D-Link.

I bought the Netgear ProSafe JGS524 24 port Gigabit Ethernet switch because we moved into a remodeled house and I installed Ethernet in every room of the house. It has preformed flawlessly for me and the lifetime warranty on this switch gives me peace of mind should I ever need it.

This Netgear switch was a great addition to my small home network. It afforded me the opportunity to add more hardwire connections than I previously had with my ISP leased router. Being that I previously worked as a network infrastructure installer, I was able to save money and do the installation myself. Currently I am using about half of the available ports of the switch with no issues at all. I would purchase this switch again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, low maintenance switch.

I replaced 2 each 8 port hubs with this 24 port switch & only then found out that some of my computers were capable of gigabit speeds. It works great.

It's ok to use at home or office and is easy to install

Outstanding 24 port switcher- very simple to install---and exceptionally fast. I hope, since this is a model that has been phased out---that Netgear returns with a replacement model that is its equal and has the same lifetime warranty.

This is replacing and older Netgear fast ethernet switch which was only 100Mbs. Installation couldn't be easier just plug it in using the standard AC cable (no wallwart required) and plug in your cables. It's a simple unmanaged switch so there is nothing to set up. I can say that I immediately noticed the increase in speed across the network and for $170 its a good price for 24 ports.

Switch works great. No reduction in speed and plenty of ports so shouldn't need a second switch.

We recently hard wired Cat-6 cable through our house and ran all the cables to an unused central closet. I purchased this switch and mounted it to the closet wall using the provided rack mount tabs for the switch and a couple of shelf brackets. It works great. The switch worked straight out of the box and does not require configuring or monitoring so it's excellent for a quick installation in an out of the way location.

I've used a ton of these Netgear switches through the years and they never let me down. If you do have an issue the warranty is easy to fulfill. They are the best bang for your buck for simple applications, as they have better reliability than cheaper options and none of the frills you probably don't need from a more expensive managed option.

I was in a pinch on a job site, and needed more ports to make all my clients new technology hot. It was 8pm, so not many options. I found this online at Bestbuy, and was able ge get everything up and operating in no time! Great value and reliable!

Bought this for a last minute project at work, migrating an entire organization to a new domain. The switch was able to handle being fully populated by laptops that I had staged and transferring all user data at gigabit speeds simultaneously with no slow downs. Was a life saver.

Replaced an older DLink Switch 10/100 at customer's site, they had upgraded their router/modem on site. Since they were able to now have up to 1000mbps the old switch wasn't go to supply their needs. This is easy install and now this advanced switch allows for incredible connections and expansion for 15 systems throughout office environment.

I purchased this for my small offices which needs about 16 ports. Setup is really easy as it states "plug and play." I simply connected this to my router and it works right away. There is no complicate setup steps. Speed allocations seems to be good. If you are looking for a switch for a small business/office. You can't go wrong with this.

Purchased this to replace another brand that went bad and I'm so glad I did. This Netgear switch has greater capacity and ended up speeding up our network. It came with a lifetime warranty. It is a no-brainer. If your network is slower than a direct connection to your modem, you might want to go ahead and change your switch out.

The switch is working flawlessly and was easy to install. My home has wired ethernet in every room this switch meet my needs. I would purchase this switch again and I recommend it to anyone looking for a 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Unmanaged switch.
