After owning a Motorola Modem/router for over 12 years, It was time for an up-grade. I purchased this NETGEAR - Nighthawk AX2700 Router with 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem at the recommendation of the ISP technician that came to my house to diagnose a minor issue I was having with my internet. I have to say, and I hate using this cliche, but the set-up of this modem/router was so easy that a caveman could do it, but it was! It took me longer to remove my old Motorola and un-box the NETGEAR modem than it took to set it up! Once it was plugged in and hooked up to my P.C. & cable, I called my ISP, gave them the I.P. address & model number, and within 10 minutes I was surfing the internet! Total set-up time was approx. 40 minutes! Then all I had to do was change password for the router & create a unique passcode for the devices to connect to it! Then I performed a speed test from my ISP's website, and just by upgrading to this NETGEAR AX2700, I gained 124mbps! It's been 3 weeks now and no issues! I have a good strong signal thought out my house and it hasn't dropped of the internet once since I hooked it up! In closing, I highly recommend purchasing this NETGEAR - Nighthawk AX2700 Router with 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem as it was easy to set-up, it’s really fast & reliable!

I was renting my modem from xfinity. After I had upgraded to their newest model, I had nothing but issues. My speeds had dropped significantly (as low as 25Mbps) and the modem would disconnect several times I day. I spent 2 months with xfinity trying to fix the issue, but nothing they did worked. I was starting to get frustrated because I was paying for services and equipment that were not working. I work from home a couple of days a week, so I need reliable internet. I had decided to stop renting and buy the Netgear Nighthawk AX6. It was very easy to set up with Xfinity and it only took a couple of minutes to set up with the Xfinity app. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and it was worth the money! I have the gigabit plan. My speeds have been consistently around 900Mbps and the modem / router has been very reliable. You can download the Nighthawk app and use it to revoke access to any connected device, pause the internet on any connected device, check your speeds, check your data usage, reboot the modem and even create a guest WiFi with a different password. You can access your network remotely with the app. It also has a “Smart Connect” option, which automatically selects the fastest WiFi band for every device. I’m very happy with this modem and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from renting one from their provider or if you’re looking to upgrade

Got this to replace my old netgear router and its a day and night difference. Insanely fast download speeds with 10+ devices connected, minimal lag and also great upload speeds. Saved me from buying an internet upgrade. Also the app is easy to use.

wow, I really like this router. You have to wonder why I have been paying my cable company $14 per month for the last... oh 100 years... to rent their lousy router??? This NightHawk is built for speed and easy use. It just never goes out, the internet is always there for me and lightning fast. I do have it plugged into a battery backup - duh - I learned that lesson once upon a time. This 6 stream dual band WiFi 6 router keeps all your devices happy at the same time, You will appreciate how reliable it is on multiple devices. And yes, simple set up.

Easy to use and setup. I have xfynity and with the use of the xfynity app and the netgear app my new modem was up and running within 10 minutes of the apps updating its software and setting up the connection. All i did was put the app to work and walked away. 10 mins later my whole internet was up and running all i had to do was rename my connection and setup the password! Highly recommend for anyone looking for fast speed and beginner level modem shoppers

Works really good and as intended, havent had any drops or disconnections yet. The install was super easy as well. Love the app! I gave it 4 stars due to the price point

This was a great purchase. The night hawk feels like a high-end modem. The signal connection allows you to stream wirelessly with no lag at all. The speed available on this device can handle gig+ speeds. The price reflects the quality and feels worth it. Long-term, it saves money rather than renting one from a ISP.

This Nighthawk CAX30S is the best tech investment I've ever made! Paired with Xfinity Gigabit Extra, I consistently get over 500 mbps downloads in my office studio, located on the opposite end of our H shaped 2000 sf ranch. I also invested in a new Nighthawk AXE3000 WiFi USB Adapter using USB 3.0 in my office studio to help achieve these fantastic WiFi 6 speeds. I replaced a Netgear 3.0 modem and a Netgear router with the Netgear Nighthawk AX2700 WiFi Cable Modem Router. I immediately noticed that my Internet speed is faster and there is no slowdown regardless of which device I'm using or where I am in my 2-story home. Setup was easy and I love that it takes up far less space.

I decided to get this modem after dealing with my Xfinity modem kicking off my internet for 30 mins, 2x a day. The setup for this modem is super easy and I get great speed. I know the price may turn off some, but it’s worth the investment and once you see the speed, it’ll make up the difference!

This is the second Netgear WiFi Cable Modem Router that we've owned, and we absolutely love it. Our house is 2,000 sq. ft. with a basement. No lag, fast, and super easy to install (less than 1/2 hour). We highly recommend the Netgear Nighthawk AX2700 - it's worth every penny!

This combo has a great ability to be the best workhorse router modem in your house. It pairs with the Nighthawk app great and works all the time with consistent wifi coverage across my house.

My old router barely covered my house. Mostly worked in the living room. It also only worked well on less than ten devices. This is a serious upgrade. It covers my whole house and my family can each run like five devices each with no lag.

This thing is so fast and was so easy to set up. I love how you can control who is on it and see who is on it. Also great if you have kids i can contol there play time in the internet.... thanks for a great router!!

Overall it is a great modem router combo, with 3.1 DOCSIS it makes my internet connection really fast and I take advantage of every Mbps that my internet provider sends me Love the design and how fast it is to install it. The Netgear app makes everything easier

Upgraded from 6 year old Surfboard which limited my max speeds. I subscribe to an 800 mb/sec internet plan and the Nighthawk is more than capable of delivering that speed. I now am able multiple devices to livestream, download, play games online, stream music / videos at the same time. Installation via the Nighthawk Netgear app was simple and quick.

Right out of the box this router/modem was super easy to set up! Basically I just plugged it in and set it up with the Netgear Nighthawk app. The app alerts me with any concerns and alerts. It handles multiple, and I mean many, many devices with ease. Streaming also is fast with, again, multiple devices in different locations in the house. Also very stream line, doesn’t take up a lot of room. I would highly recommend this product.

this Netgear works great! I had a few issues with the setup as the nighthawk app said to connect to Wi-Fi and when I connected it always would say connected without internet. so I then opened a web page on my desktop and the spectrum activation page came up I put my credentials in clicked replace modem and put my Mac address in and within 5 minutes I was up and running. I've already noticed the speed difference. my old Motorola cable router modem would give me about 866 MB on 5G now I get 1.2 GHz on my 5g. I'm glad I got this Netgear it's Wi-Fi 6 wpa3 dos CIS 3.1 I will be future-proofed for quite a while.

Had poor Wi-Fi reception throughout the home,mainly in the basement. Tried the Linksys extender to no avail;it had issue boosting the poor signal from the router,modem our ISP provided. This product gave two connections:the 2.4 GHz and 5GHz. Followed the set up instructions from the pamphlet and while it was not difficult it was tedious. Make sure you have an 1-2 hours dedicated to set it up. Connecting through the Netgear app and our ISP’s wasn’t working and we ended up having to call. The rep took over and ensured the internet connected completely. Make sure while that is being done you have the Netgear app open,selecting your router so the websites don’t show as blocked or unsecure. Long story short now there’s service throughout the home,all the products connect,sometimes it falters for a few seconds but it doesn’t impact the apps being used noticeably.
