Bought this unit to replace my old wireless mesh system, which failed to work during the 2 1/2 years I owned it. The Orbi was easy to set up and worked instantly. I no longer have any continuous lagging throughout my household, where almost everything is running off the Internet from mobile devices to laptop, laptops to TVs and gaming systems. At first, I was a little bit, scared off by the price tag but as of now it has been worth every penny. I am not the most tech savvy person, but after doing comparisons, the Orbi has given me more than I can ask for in a wireless mesh system. You will not be disappointed!

Got this product to replace an old Netgear RAX120 router. The router was great but I did not get a signal on the back of the property. With purchasing the Orbi 770 it came with a router and 2 satellites. The router staying in the main level office. The satellites were placed in the basement then in the window of the spare bedroom facing the backyard. I now have full WiFi bars on my whole property. Still learning more about this system but the separate IoT channel is really cool and makes the setup of your smart devices much easier. I highly recommend this Orbi system. Low cost WiFi 7 I think is the best out there for the money. I did have to buy a switch because I had 5 wired internet connections in the house and this only has 3. Just keep that in mind. But a Netgear switch is under $15 and will handle that for you.

Easy to setup and distributes the signal well. I have a 4,000 square foot home and this has every corner (including some outside security cameras) connected without a problem. I've put the majority of my connected items (doorbell, cameras, digital photo frames) on one band while keeping things like the TV and working computers on the 5ghz band to ensure they always have the best speed. Orbi app is better than most networking app/software out there and is fairly straight forward and easy to understand. Highly recommend if you don't need enterprise/pro grade wi-fi but still want to ensure you're getting the best out of a fiber optic or other high speed entry into your home.

I’ve tested a lot of Wi-Fi gear over the years, but the Orbi system has been the only one that fixed my dead zones instantly. Setup was fast, the app is super clean, and once it was running, the whole house got strong, consistent signal — even with multiple kids streaming, gaming, and my own work devices connected. Zero drops, zero buffering. Speeds went up, range improved, and it just works. If you’re tired of messing with Wi-Fi problems, this is the one.

My old Orbi Wi-Fi 6 system was obsolete so I replaced it with this Wi-Fi 7 system. Set-up was a breeze as I already had the Orbi app. The Wi-Fi coverage in my two story home is excellent and I'm getting all the speed available from my service provider. It's a bit of a challenge to reconnect all devices to a new system, but hopefully this will be the only time for a few years. So far, excellent reliability.

This Orbi 770 Wi-Fi 7 system has been amazing! Setup was super easy and took just minutes. The speed is excellent, coverage is powerful in every corner of the house, and the connection has been extremely stable and reliable. Signals stay strong even through walls. Highly recommended for anyone wanting top-tier Wi-Fi performance!

I had Orbi RBR850 mesh system and it did "ok" but satellites only connected wirelessly. I have an out building that connected but the latency created issues. I upgraded to this and connected a fiber optic cable between buildings and now have full speed. This definitely was an improvement Where this shines is if you have any wifi 7 devices as you really can get some speed. I only have 2 devices that can take advantage of it now but assuming that will change over time. My main issue is that there doesn't seem to be a good solution to force a device onto a satellite once it grabs the router and you move away. The speeds go down and latency goes up unless you do a network reset on the device. I looked at reducing the transmit power on the router/satellites but didn't want to go too low in fear that the back haul would be impacted in the house. Even my computer that is next to the satellite wants to connect to the router on the other side of the house via 2.5 channel. Still working through fine tuning this but would have hoped for the price it worked a bit better. still a good upgrade for the problems I was trying to solve.

I purchased this WiFi 7 system to replace a different brand that failed after just two years. The set up was easy and now I'm getting 950Mbps download and 116 upload. The coverage is so good, I can watch TV from my backyard.

The 770 Tri-band WiFi 7 Mesh 3 Node system has been a great upgrade and improvement over my previous Linksys WiFi 7 mesh system that failed. The new system was much easier to setup and quickly downloaded needed apps and information onto my mobile device from the QR code. Additionally, the large benefit over the previous system is that there is a main or base node that then connects to the other two nodes. The linksys was a daisy chain so the wired node on the main floor connected to the basement node, that then connected to the 2nd floor node. This weakened the coverage for a large multi-floor home. The access through the app is much simpler. I am experiencing much higher speeds and ability to have a large number of devices connected (25 ) with minimum degradation. From Ring door bells, to thermostats

Excellent range, signal strength, and speed, even when connected over a long linear distance through multiple walls, some of which are brick. The mesh network has been totally reliable so far - no more dropped connections, which had become frequent with my previous system. Setup instructions could be a little clearer, but are OK.

As noted by other reviewers, Orbi is easy to set up and has very fast performance. It easily supports gigabit fiber speeds. The white router and satellite mesh nodes are more aesthetically pleasing in most decors than the Nighthawk with multiple external antennas. Each unit also has screw-mount holes to permit wall-mounting. Everything is packaged neatly with ribbons to aid lifting out of the box. The easy setup with the Orbi app makes initial configuration easy, but hides details that can be accessed only via the web interface — with limits. Some features are behind paywall subscriptions for parental controls and extra security. It wasn’t clear to me, however, that these subscriptions supported more advanced firewall features available from competitors at a similar cost. In other words, the value of the Orbi models is quick, easy setup and fast performance at the trade-off of limits on more advanced network functionality. I needed that more advanced functionality, so I returned the Orbi.

Netgear's price for this is asinine to say the least. Averaging $300 per piece of equipment is out of touch with how poor the firmware is compared to other options on the market that support mesh add-ons. No QoS settings available so overall performance is subpar as you don't really have full control over traffic. I experience very high latency while under any form of load (upwards of 150ms avg 95ms) even with a wired connection due to lack of traffic control. I assume Netgear has something in the background regarding QoS but there's no ability to tweak anything so if you rely on lower latency for FPS titles for example you're SOL. Overall coverage is pretty solid and I've yet to have an issue with that. A few devices on the network consistently disconnect and reconnect rather quickly which is strange but it seems to be for not even a second. I have about 10 devices total on the network and they're all routed statically so not sure what the issue is there. Netgear routers have always been a go-to for me however support isn't the greatest (overseas call centers so good luck lol) and the lack of control this device (I'm sure the other Orbi systems are like this) is disappointing. Unfortunately I dropped $900 on this and I'm out of the return window with BBY so I'm stuck with it in the mean time.

Extremely easy to setup, and covers the 3300 plus garage and outdoor area around the home. I was looking for some time for the right one to upgrade from gen 2 Starlink - it is now set in bypass mode and the Orbi 770 is doing great with the number of devices it is managing at any one time. General use - having anywhere from 2 to 4 phones, 1-2 laptops (work from home with video conferencing), streaming TV and a pile of connected devices (smart speaker, home appliances...). Very happy with the performance so far.

Awesome Mesh System. As a gammer, I have always had to use an extender of some sorts in addition to a router due to lag. This eliminates that all together. Easy to set up, blazing fast speeds and a flawless connection! This is well worth the money.

I purchased this to replace an old Netgear Orbi system. It's ease of set-up; reliability; and features are hard to beat, that is why I updated to a new Orbi System. It is easily set up in minutes. I had the old Orbi system for 6 years and never had an issue. Plenty of wifi coverage too.
