Actually runs pretty well on the switch, especially in portable. The gameplay is definitely sufficient, but where this game really becomes special is the story and music (mine also came with a cool reversable cover)

I haven't completed the game yet but so far it's been really good. The sound track is astonishing and gameplay is fun.

I had always heard the title of this game but paid it no mond. When it released on Switch, I started seeing gameplay and Im like “what in the world is this?” I saw it was a sidescrolling, platforming, rpg, twin-stick shooter and bullet-hell all rolled up into one game. Now it may sound like a mess but surprisingly, it pulls it all off nicely.the story was engaging enough and it surely doesnt hurt that the main character is very easy on the eyes. Im shocked that this was released at 40 and not $60. I just finished my forst playthrough at about 18 hours but there are multiple endings which gives more to do. For 40, i think its worth it. As u can see, its close to the top of my list from games I’ve played the longest.

Great Game, fun and the visuals looks great on Nintendo switch.

This is one of the finest third party ports to Nintendo Switch. It’s not a lazy cash grab. This version of the game had some real effort put into it. The visuals are admittedly less crisp than other versions in terms of resolution. But in terms of frame rate, lack of pop in and performance, this game is a revelation. In handheld mode, Nier plays like a dream. Perfect for on the go and didn’t make me think I’m getting a lesser experience. Yoko Taro is a genius and this world and story is something to behold. Everyone who enjoys games should experience it. Just make sure you play the whole story!

Really fun game, Great story and the anime just came out recently. The combat is very enjoyable and so much replayability. I'm also very impressed on the performance of this switch port, being able to hit 1080p when docked which is higher than the older gen versions. Frame rates are mostly stable. However, the downside is that texture quality is a lot less lower quality than other platforms but in my opinion the fact that this port runs very well makes it worth it.

NieR:Automata is an impressive Action RPG with a masterpiece level ost and amazing combat and an incredible story.

Excellent game. I played it when it originally came out, but when this version came out I couldn't resist picking it up again. Liv e being able to play it on the go.

This game is perfect. Incredible gameplay, incredible story. Massive props to the team that ported it to the Switch. it runs perfectly.

Nier Automata is a great game, it runs good on the Nintendo Switch there are a few frame drops when you are in a area with a lot of trees, but for the most part I didn’t have any issues, the atmosphere is great there a a few places that are very eerier and the music is really good and there is a lot of replayability because there different endings that you can get.
