Q: How Much can it record before recording over itself?
A: You have a number of options to select from that will impact how long you can record. Motion activated record vs continuous record is the most impactful. Clips can be exported for safe keeping and to ensure any new recordings don't cause you to lose key footage. We advise exporting key moments via USB drive that can be attached to the recorder for safe keeping. On continuous record you should expect 7+ days while with motion only record you will get much more time before the storage begins over old footage. Thanks, Night Owl SP Support Team
Q: 8 cameras standard resolution how many days can keep in memory?
A: Depends on how high you have the sensors. But I have 4 and have them on human and vehicle and get a week. So you should get about half that with double the cameras. But they offer a online storage also. Not sure how long they stay on the cloud. This answer is just for the 1tb that comes with the unit.
Q: Does the dvr have wireless network connectivity
A: No — this DVR does not have wireless (Wi-Fi) network connectivity. It uses wired BNC connections for the cameras and must be connected to your router with an Ethernet cable for remote viewing and mobile alerts. Highly Recommend Surveillance System
This security camera system is great! The quality of the picture is great during the day and the night vision. These are wired cameras, so you will have to have someone who can run the wires to install the cameras where you want them if you can’t do it yourself. The set up of the DVR is easy. It’s super easy to install and setup the app on your phone. There isn’t a month fee or anything that cost extra unlike some other products. You can view live streaming video from anywhere your at. You can set up the system to record continuously or only record certain activity. So not only can it record continuously but You have the option to have it record only human activity, vehicles or you can have it record when any movement is detected. The quality of these cameras are great! These have an option you can set up for the spotlight to come on when motion is detected. It also has an option to have audio alerts or sirens to make sounds upon motion being detected. One of the things I also like is that by using the phone app, you can speak to someone through the cameras via two way audio. You can not get a better quality system for the price! I highly recommend this product!

Best cameras ever.
This cameras are amazing. You can talk to people outside. They are very clear even at night. The recording every single moment and you can go back on the phone and you can find out everything what happened in the past. If they have six I’ll give it six star. Thank you. Believe me I’m not person i will give good reviews and five stars easy.

Started out good, went downhill quickly
These cameras have given us some very clear images in the past that we were very happy with. But before we knew it (less than a year), we started experiencing major issues. Heavy blur or distortion in one camera that came from nowhere and seems to be unfixable. Another stopped working completely one day. Another has a faulty wire and flashes the flash light and beeps if plugged in (essentially also rendering it completely unusable too). We are not expecting a long lifespan for these cameras after the issues we’ve already experienced. In short: Started out good, went downhill quickly.
