Nikon - AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens - f/2.8 - Black

The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens delivers exceptional wide-angle performance with a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout the entire zoom range. This professional-grade lens features Nikon's Silent Wave Motor for fast and virtually silent autofocus operation, making it well suited for both still photography and video capture. The optical design incorporates Extra-low Dispersion glass elements that minimize chromatic aberration and color fringing, ensuring sharp, high-contrast images across the full frame. The lens covers a focal length range of 14 to 24mm, providing an ultra-wide angle of view that is ideal for landscape, architectural, interior, and photojournalism applications. The f/2.8G designation indicates this is a G-type lens without an aperture ring, designed for use with modern Nikon DSLR camera bodies that support electronic aperture control. The ED glass elements work in combination with the advanced optical formula to reduce distortion and deliver outstanding edge-to-edge sharpness even at the widest focal lengths. The fast f/2.8 maximum aperture allows for excellent performance in low-light conditions and provides greater control over depth of field compared to slower wide-angle lenses. Nikon's Nano Crystal Coat is applied to select elements within the lens to effectively eliminate internal reflections across a wide range of wavelengths, resulting in reduced ghosting and flare for improved image clarity and color accuracy. The robust construction of this lens is built to meet the demands of professional use, featuring a durable barrel and smooth zoom and focus rings for precise handling in the field. This lens is compatible with Nikon F-mount DSLR cameras and is designed to deliver full-frame coverage, making it a versatile and powerful tool for photographers who require reliable ultra-wide-angle performance at a constant fast aperture.
