One of the best and most unique kitchen accessories (necessities) out there. Great for a quick snack or even a meal (less clean up). I got a fantastic deal on mine online and had it shipped to the store to save in the shipping charges. Definitely a must have item. The nostalgic look really adds to the attraction of this hotdog toaster. Getcha one now and don’t live with the regret of letting it get away.

This little toaster is great. It is quick, and tastes way better than boiling or microwaving. It is as close to grilling without the grill as you can get. One cycle for the buns, and one extra for just the dogs is my preference. It is also nice looking to leave on the counter for convenience. We have used it about four times now and it has not yet required cleaning (it looks like that would be pretty simple though). FYI the machine will smell funny the first time, so use a test dog and do two runs before you make one to eat. This is normal, and only happens on first use.

I have used the hot dog cooker limitedly, but would use the machine versus the microwave or pan anyday of the week. I cooked the hot dog on the lowest setting for a longer period of time in order to play with the machine. I rotated the hot dog once and it was cooked perfect. the only reason that I didn't give it a 5 is that the hot dogs get plumper when cooked and removing it was difficult, even with a fork and knife, from the insert assembly, which you pull entirely of the machine. based on the limited price, and good cooking, I would recommend the product.

My son and I were shopping at Best Buy one day when he saw this hotdog maker! it wasn't very expensive and I know you can nuke hotdogs or boil them but was worth the money spent for him to get excited to cook his own hotdogs and warm up the buns!! Simple to operate and the hotdogs taste great as well. Nice to have a bun warmer as well.

This is a cute fun little hot dog cooker that brightens up my kitchen and is lots of fun when entertaining. It cooks quickly and cooks the hot dog and toasts the bun at the same time. My only complaint is that the bun cooks faster than the dog so I've learned to toast the hot dog once, then add the bun and toast both one more time. Even children could use this. Exercise same discresion as if a child were using a toaster.

Bought this for M'lady thinking that she'd love it but nope...thought it was a joke. Until she tasted the hot dogs that I made her with it!!! I do them 2 cycles till they're blackened on the outside. My only complaint is that the bun slot should be wider and have some way of pushing the bun up against the plate...and the fact that it only toasts the top so I flip it on the second cycle. Oh, butter the bun to reduce sticking too...

I like this unit. It works fine and is fun to use. A nice change to the standard boring water in the pot. Just flatten the buns so they won't get too toasty.

This hot dog toaster is very easy to use. It cooks the hot dog to perfection. Since i bought this hot dog toaster it is the only way i eat hot dogs cooked now. It makes them very plumped and juicy good.

I love this, but it has its issues. I like my dogs well done, so I cook them 3 times on high. The cons are: 1. The buns never fit and when you squeeze them in, they burn and stick to the heating element. 2. It leaks hot dog juice/grease from the bottom. So sit it in some sort of pan or on aluminum foil to avoid the mess. 3. The short and stubby bun length franks sometimes get stuck when the expand while cooking. Despite the cons, I still recommend it.

I've wanted one of these for some time so when I found it at Best Buy of course I had to buy it. On sale made it even greater. I'm very happy with this item. Although it encourages me to eat hot dogs which are not the healthiest thing. I'll try chicken and beef dogs and maybe that will salve my conscience.

I thought this product was a bit quirky, so I bought it. I've had better hot dogs, but it actually works pretty good. It's fun to use and quick; better than boiling water for hot dogs.

Hello seen this item on "Deal of the Day" and wasn't in the market for one but thought why not take a look so I read reviews and read the product details and thought this might be cool for after school hot dogs for me and my grandson. I ordered it online it was delivered quickly and I waited for my grandson so he could open it he is 4 years of age and Wow he was so excited about the bubble wrap (HAHAHA) once we opened the Hotdog and bun warmer he got into a curious learning mode and I have to say well worth the money and a easy fun and a no fuss lets eat Hotdogs then play later experience. Product works like it shows, if buns are a little to big just trim them with sissor. I cook my hotdog twice and his once. We really like this unit. Great find on "Deal of the Day" supervision a definite don't let small children cook on this or ANY plug in appliance. Thank you for reading Reviews help consumers

Great warmer of the franks but harsh on the buns. I don't have to have them toasted anyways.

i bought this and so far i like it. its very easy to use . its little hard to clean inside because if the bread get overly toasted it sometimes stick to inside and its tricky to clean it. but other than that its a good buy.

Ive used this a few times and sold it at a garage sale. Its neat, but it has a problem with buns. Sometimes the buns will not go inside, pop out and are prone to burning. The dogs were ok, but cool off quickly. Think Ill stick to microwaving.

I bought this not knowing if it was more of a novelty or usable. To my surprise it works well and does what is says it will do. Put two buns in the slots to the outside and two hot dogs in the slots in the middle set how long you want it to cook and in a few minutes you have two toasted buns and two hot dogs ready to eat. It has a tray that's slides out from underneath that catches crumbs and makes clean up easy. I know it's just a fancy toaster, but it works and I like the hot dogs better this way than in the microwave.

When you don't want your kids to screw up hot dogs, this is for you. I like a toasted bun, but like others agree it cooks them a little too long and is hard to get a thicker bun in. The dogs cook up perfectly and kids can use it easily.

Great looking product that brings back the old days. Gives the bun that great toasted taste.....as with the hot dog. More convenient than lighting up the grill, and tastier than microwave or boiling. A fun, functional product.
