I’ve used Food Savers for the past 13 years (three different ones) and wanted to try a different brand hoping it would have better longevity. This vacuum sealer didn’t suck all of the air out which is the idea of a vacuum sealer. If it’s not going to get rid of the air, I might as well use freezer bags. It also requires two hands to close the lid. Sounds like a minor inconvenience EXCEPT when I’m freezing raw meat, I use one hand for the meat and one hand is kept clean to open the bags, seal, etc. needing to use two hands to close this meant I had to wash my hands after each time because you also can’t seal too many bags at once. For example you can’t load up 10 bags to freeze, wash hands and then seal them all because the machine gets too warm quickly and needs time in between to cool down before sealing the next.

Product worked ok for about 3 times on the fourth try vacuum sealer no longer worked AIR IS STILL IN THE BAG AFTER VAC/SEAL DEFAULTY PRODUCT DONT BUY IT SAVE YOUR MONEY

Was told by the Best Buy chat Rep that I could use any bag. Tried a Ziploc bag, and it would not work. Tried using a bag that came with the unit. It sucked a little air out of the bag, sealed it, and left me with a bag full of mostly air.

I bought this item and it was Delivered on Feb 23, 2022. It has already stopped vacuum sealing and dead line to return it March 17, 2022. I will never buy a Nutrichef product again.
