The title says it all! My wife has used a few different versions of "food savers" over the past 5 years, this one got a thumbs-up. Bonus, its reasonably-priced. Get it on sale, no brainer. Food stays FRESH in freezer. Super quiet, fast, bag size is perfect for freezing extra meat, great deal when chicken is on sale. Just do it for your wife!

It’s just as good as other brands, except reasonably priced. Arrived with instructions that are easy to follow. It is for home use, and great tool for meal preparation or portioning. Also a good gift to give.

I’ve used Food Savers for the past 13 years (three different ones) and wanted to try a different brand hoping it would have better longevity. This vacuum sealer didn’t suck all of the air out which is the idea of a vacuum sealer. If it’s not going to get rid of the air, I might as well use freezer bags. It also requires two hands to close the lid. Sounds like a minor inconvenience EXCEPT when I’m freezing raw meat, I use one hand for the meat and one hand is kept clean to open the bags, seal, etc. needing to use two hands to close this meant I had to wash my hands after each time because you also can’t seal too many bags at once. For example you can’t load up 10 bags to freeze, wash hands and then seal them all because the machine gets too warm quickly and needs time in between to cool down before sealing the next.

I got my Vacuum Seal System last week. I Sealed up my first left over dinner. It was quick & easy. Knowing that my left overs wont be thrown away in 2-3 days makes me feel great. I am already Saving Money. I Bought this so I can meal prep for my wife when she gives birth. I wont have time to cook when the time comes. This will help me prep weeks of meals ahead of time. I am so exited to finally own one of these.
