From professional photography to high-quality videography, the LUMIX S PRO 16-35mm F4 (S-R1635) lens is a versatile and innovative tool designed to deliver superior image resolution. Despite its compact and lightweight profile, this lens is engineered to provide high descriptive performance, making it an ideal choice for both photo shooting and video recording. Constructed with 12 elements in 9 groups, this lens incorporates 3 aspherical lenses, an ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lens, and a UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens. This optimal alignment ensures high MTF performance, contributing to its high-resolution capabilities. Even at wide open, it delivers stunningly sharp images towards the corners and a beautiful bokeh effect, effectively suppressing double line bokeh and vignetting. The LUMIX S PRO 16-35mm F4 lens features a double-magnet linear motor as its AF actuator. Despite its small size, it boasts high power and a maximum 480 fps high-speed sensor drive. This design enables fast, high-precision autofocus, ensuring you never miss a photo opportunity. With the adoption of a focus clutch mechanism, instant AF/MF switching and accurate manual focusing are made possible. This lens also excels in video recording performance, thanks to a mechanism that suppresses focus breathing, a common issue in interchangeable lenses designed for still image photography. Its rugged dust and splash-resistant design can withstand harsh conditions, even at temperatures as low as 10 degrees below zero, offering high mobility for photographers and videographers on the go.The LUMIX S PRO 16-35mm F4 lens is compatible with a 77mm filter size and features a 9-blade circular aperture diaphragm. It comes bundled with a ProOptic 77mm filter kit, flex lens shade, lens cleaner, lens wrap, cap tether, cleaning kit, and Mac software kit, providing added value and convenience for users.
