When it works, the game is great! Problem is, it doesn't work often. From the get-go, the game crashes about once an hour. It also has a tendency to get severely laggy, to the point that the controls are all but unresponsive. This only gets worse the closer you get to the end of the game when it all becomes a slog with a ton of crash-related reloads. The game has a great concept, but poor implementation, at least on the PS4. If you want to play it, try the PC, I hear they've fixed a ton of stuff on that end.

So far really loving the story line and the options for character building are just staggering. I think I watched Youtube videos for two days on just how to build an effective character before even starting. A challenging game even on the normal difficulty, but probably only because I'm not terribly familiar with the Pathfinder D&D series. It's a Great game, but make sure you save often as it still has a few bugs with save files that the Developers are already aware of and working on.

finding the tutorial to be not helpful, the gameplay isn't intuitive and an online guide would be beneficial. the game is more geared to gamers who have previous experience with role playing 'rules'

The one thing I do not like is that some of the quests are timed. But a very fun game.

I haven't played it as much as i would like but from what i have played its pretty fun .

Fun older style rpg, similar to Baldur's Gate. Can be very addicting.

Crashes a lot, very slow and boring in the last 3rd of the game. Would not recommend, buy Divinity Original Sin 2 instead.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker is a very fun classic style RPG.
