If you're on a budget and you're looking for a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller alternative, then this is a great option. Yes, it doesn't feel as premium as a Pro Controller, but it does the job and it does it fairly well. The face plate is also removable, so you can customize this controller if you want. Overall, it's well worth the money as long as you're aware of the sacrifices like lack of rumble feature or NFC.

You cant beat the value of this controller, it has all the functionality of a pro controller except the gyro and rumbles. The cable is very long and conveniently a USB-C cable as well i would buy more of these controllers for sure its a great way to have extra controllers without going broke.

Figured a wired controller would be a great backup for when bluetooth controllers are charging and for the occasional Player 3 but the cable that comes with it is not that long and we have to stand in front of the TV to use it as it will not reach any of our furniture. Also this does not plug directly into the Switch when using it in portable mode off the dock due to no USB inputs found directly on the console. The design, weight/feel, and turbo mode are quite nice, though.

Was debating on this for a while as it doesn’t have all of the functionality of the pro controller and it’s wired. Does more than a serviceable job and is better to use for adults versus attempting to use one of the Joy Con controllers for Mario Kart. Not bad for $20 if you can accept that you’re not going to have Rumble abilities or be able to toss Mario’s hat in Super Mario Odyssey

The controller is an affordable option to play games on the TV. The controller is only wider so it cannot be used in handheld, but it can be used perfectly for games like Mario kart. Note, motion controls are not part of this controller so games like Zelda will have difficulty playing without the HD rumble

I bought this controller because it fits better in your hand and plays better than the joy con controllers. The down side is the cord attached to it which takes you back to the days of being tied down but for 1/2 the price of the cordless version, it was well worth the trade off.

I love this Nintendo controller. It was affordable and sleek. My husband and I don't like using the joycons detached, we prefer using corded controllers that are both the same, so we keep our joycons on the switch. This was a great purchase

Bought for black friday. Nice long cable and works just as well as a wireless pro controller. You don't have to worry about charging it so I leave it plugged to the switch for those times when my pro controller runs out of juice.

I picked this up as an extra controller for playing Smash Ultimate. The controller is wired, very responsive, and is of good build quality - all at the perfect price point imo. The shoulder buttons have a slightly odd shape but I like it, feels good to press. There is No Rumble but at this price and quality I don't see that as a terrible thing for a secondary controller that you pull out at parties. The cord could be a bit longer. Overall I highly recommend.

This is a decent controller. It is not cordless and it doesn't have the rumble feature, but the buttons feel nice and its comfortable in your hand.

I really like the design is the texture of the controller and not just a sticker. It is good size and shape. The cable is s good length too.

My kids are hard on controllers. This is a good cheap alternative when looking for a switch controller. Downsides include not wireless.

Works just like the wireless controller but with a wire & like $50 cheaper. Good to have when you have a few extra friends over

This wired controller is not bad! It feels a little light/empty/cheap but it doesn't have a battery so that's why it's so light. It was such a good value for the price though, and having another full controller (great for games like Smash where the little joy-cons just aren't enough!) is a plus. One thing that's slightly annoying though, is that the +/- buttons are swapped with the home/screenshot buttons compared to nintendo controllers like the pro.

The unit is working fine after two months of used by my kids for Fortnite. We got the wired version because it does not need power and our original controller has a stuck stick. We have two of these and both are working fine so far. Kids seems like them. The only minor problem is the wire is kind of messy, and there is no rumble mode. Consider it is cheap and durable so far, the two minor things is not that much a problem. I will recommend it.

Got it for my son but it’s annoying with the cable should’ve gone with a wireless. But for price it’s good.

Actually really like this controller, it’s not wireless, but the cord is pretty long.

Awesome controller for the price. If you don’t mind it being wired, this is for you!

The controller works flawlessly and is a good alternative to the wireless controllers
