I’ve been using smart bulbs for years now ones compatible with Alexa and Google. However these are set apart. I tried both Alexa and google for about 2 years each and I have to say overtime they didn’t listen to commands they would say light bulbs were unresponsive and it was a nightmare. I got these bulbs and a apple mini HomePod and it is just the perfect combination. The box hooks directly into your wifi modem and the bulbs go wherever you need them then it’s just a small setup on whatever app you need and they work flawlessly. I’ve had times where the power goes out and then back on and the bulbs work IMMEDIATELY no slight delay nothing right after power goes back on the bulbs start working again with voice commands and the app commands as well. When it comes to other lightbulbs sometimes it takes 10-20 minutes before you can turn them on and off again with voice commands which isn’t the biggest deal but it’s definitely tedious and slightly annoying. The bulbs themselves are a very warm color and you can’t change them but it’s okay because they’re bright as can be nonetheless I always use the “cool” tone of light bulbs but these are like in the middle of that it’s the perfect tone for ambiance but also light and it works perfectly. A little on the pricier side but most definitely worth it!

Phillips smart bulbs are great! Easy to add to an existing system or just start one. I have them all over my houspe and we love them.

Flawless combo and a nice way to start the hue ecosystem. Although not the color lights, but these ones work perfectly fine for simple light needs. These help me setup automated lights in the kitchen with the motion sensor accessory.

Bright, easy to use, and require little to no setup. Just plug the hub into the router, and you're good.

The lights are excellent. The ability to adjust the spectrum from cold white ro very warm is perfect. 4 stars is because the Bridge relies on being hardwired which can be a challenge if you're lights are far away. Thankfully they can Daisy chain the signal to activate other lights that would otherwise be unreachable.

I used these light bulbs in conjunction with my Google Assistant/Nest devices in my house. I setting up had pretty clear step by step instructions, but getting it to work with GA could've been a little clearer. Be careful naming the rooms you place the bulbs in on the Hue app so it's consistent with your Nest/Google Home names. Once it's setup it's great to use your Nest or Google speakers to turn lights on and off, especially to manage them with routines and the app while your away from the house. I liked that the bulbs in this set were a good warm white without any fancy colors that I was unlikely to use.

A little difficult to set up but works very well and recognizes my voice and also my wife without difficulty. This is my second purchase of these lights, and I will get more in the future

The Philips Hue A19 kit is a great way to start the conversion from a regular home to a smart home. It is pretty straight forward and the interface is user friendly. If my non tech savvy aunties can set it up, anyone can :) One thing that is great for this is that for a discount, you get the bridge and 2 dimmable bulbs. The bridge alone is at least $60 already, so getting the bundle is definitely a better choice purchase wise.

Very good product. I’ve had this light bulbs for months now and it’s still going strong. I also love that you can adjust the lights on the mobile app, set a timer for the light to automatically turn on and off and many other features on the app. Absolutely love this product and will definitely recommend. Also much more affordable than other products out there

So far we really like these. We had some cheaper smart bulbs that didn’t use a hub and they worked fine for a little while, but they eventually just stopped working. We decided to go with smart bulbs that had a hub for when we want to add more smart devices. After doing some research we decided to go with Philips and we have not been disappointed.

Great purchase! Bring able to increase lighting in my home was a great help! Set up was difficult because the instructions were not complete. No mention that a HDMI cable was needed for setup; But not included in the box m.

I can’t believe I went this long without these. It’s definitely not a necessity but it’s crazy how much i love these things. Automations, schedules, and dimming all included with the bulb. Buy the dock, you wont be sorry!!

The starter kit is great. Only downside of hue is the inability to add a second hub into one account!
