I use these lights with the Philips Hue hub and then also with my Staples hub for home automation. I have 3 of these bulbs in my bathroom in a wallmount fixture and it is very bright. The bulbs are not hot (the base gets warm) and they respond quickly to the app, Hue Tap, or Staples hub commands.

I bought several of these to put in my living room and dining room where I didn't need the fancy (and expensive!) Hue bulbs. They're still fully controllable like my other bulbs and can be made into scenes. But they're much more affordable! Since my living room and dining room are right next to each other, I often control them together. I created a scene for movie watching that turns off all of the lights in my living room and leaves the dining room lights on very dim so that it gives a great atmosphere for movie watching. It's pretty cool really to make it pretty dark in the living room, but I still get enough of a glow from the dining room that you can see where you're going if you need to get up to get some popcorn or use the restroom and don't want to turn all the lights on full blast. Anyway, I recommend these! The Philips system is great already, just expensive. These give a much more affordable option for places that you don't want or need the added colors of the Hue bulbs.

This product works like a charm. Set up was super easy, and the related app works great as well. Just follow the provided instructions, and you can't go wrong. This system also works great with my Amazon echo device. I purchased the hue lux bridge starter kit along with nine additional hue lux bulbs, and I am very satisfied with my decision. This is a great introduction to home automation, and it's wayyyy better than that horrible wemo product I originally tried out (which I ended up returning) . I would definitely recommend this philips hue lux system.

Good price on these connected bulbs now that they have dropped. I have 3 of the Lux ones in my bathroom. I don't think I would have done it at $30 a bulb, but at $20, it's a bit more feasible. They respond quickly to my app, Hue Tap, and commands generated from my Staples hub (such as using my Jawbone UP24's sleep mode to shut off all lights and also using it to turn on the bathroom lights in the morning when I turn sleep mode off)

I purchased this as an addition to my existing Hue lights system. The bulb is bright and was easy to integrate with my existing bulbs. I didn't need a color changing option so the ability to buy just a normal bulb is great. The Hue app itself needs some improvement but I use other apps to control my bulbs and they do exactly what I need them to do. Will definitely buy more if needed.

I really like the Hue lights. they are so wonderful, convenient and easy to use! They have changed the way my house feels as well as looks. The app is nice too. I have them set up to turn on when I arrive at night and turn off when I leave. They are a little pricey but In my opinion they are worth every penny because they last so long. One word...AWESOME!!!!

I have several Hue bulbs and the system is easy to use. The set up is quick, and control of the lights is relatively simple using apps on your phone. The light strip sits above some kitchen cabinets and provides a nice glow which can be dimmed or in a different color depending on mood. It's really nice.

I recently bought these bulbs and they work great! You would need the hue bridge to get it setup. Buy a starter kit first that comes with 2 bulbs and a bridge. Then you can buy these bulbs to extend as many as upto 50 bulbs on a single bridge. These are flux and the color ones are higher in price. The reason for 4 stars is due to the fact they are way too expensive.

So I bought this Hue system after researching it for a couple of months. I'm glad that I finally decided to make the purchase. I'm enjoying not having to actually get up and turn the light's off. I simply use the app to control the lights. It works well and I couldn't be any lazier after buying these lights. I'm eventually looking to upgrade all my lights to th Phillips Hue & Lux system.

I generally use cree smart bulbs, but when its an area that I want better more precise lighting, I use these. They have better level adjustments and I overall like the light better coming off of them. But when the competitors are all $5 cheaper per bulb, its a little more to think about. so I took off one star for the price, otherwise recommend.

You may be considered lazy for buying these, but they are amazing! It's helpful if you arrive home late and the house is dark, Hue will turn on automatically when you approach! Definitely recommend!

Provides a great white light for everyday use. It uses less electricity and lasts longer, but seems to shine brighter than other bulbs. (LED)

I've been very satisfied with the Hue Lights. I use the lights for my flood lighting in the kitchen. Lights are great at creating moods with all the available scenes and color selections. Highly recommend. Only drawback is the price.

these bulbs work great, connect easily to your hue system, can be controlled by the app and the hue tap, and are a lot cheaper then putting in color led lights where they arent needed, this way you can control more lights, without the expense. The do not make BR lights though still , so if you have recessed ceiling lights etc, you either need to stay traditional, or use another companies zigbee bulbs like ge

These are great bulbs. Seem bright enough to do the job. However they should be 5-10$ less in cost. They also need to be a bit brighter to replace standard bulbs.

These lights are great! We program them to dim at designated times, to alert us of events like kids bath times or bedtimes. Then they shut off when it's sleep time and gradually brighten when it's time to wake up. Barely even need a clock now. Definitely recommended.

We absolutely love the Hue lights! We got them because we have a new baby in the house and know how frustrating it is to have to disturb her when we need to adjust lighting. With Hue lighting it's easy! I simply open the app on my smart phone and adjust as needed! I'm a huge fan of this lighting system! We have them in every room!

I've been using the Hue Lux bulbs in my bedroom and office. Being able to dim on these has been a lifesaver for nighttime reading. My wife complained about too much light from a 20 watt bulb while I read at night. I can get these way lower and I can turn off my office lights when I walk to bed in a dark house.

I bought these bulbs so that if I am out longer than I planned, I can make sure that my dogs are not home in the dark. They also work great because I can turn my lights on and off, making it look as if someone is home even when I'm not. I have purchased five of them so far, and am planning on buying more
