Finally replaced my outdoor X10 motion sensor/flood light with the Phillip's Hue light. So nice to be able to configure accessories how you want them. I used a Hue dimmer switch on our porch to control it, as well as the new outdoor motion sensor on the deck. No problem getting on the Zigbee mesh, and the process of adding the light in the Hue app was quick and easy. Updating the firmware happened right away and the light has worked as intended since. Looks clean installed on the house, and turn on/off is completely silent. No more kurchunk from a relay. Although a little pricey, the fixture is made to protect the Hue bulbs that came with it. By the way, there are two bulbs and they can be controlled together or separately.

I was so happy to see Philips release their external lighting options as I had previously been forced to use another brand that was not as reliable. Since I installed these lights, which was so simple, they have worked perfectly without a hitch and are surprisingly bright!

The light is bright and extends far. The only thing I don’t like is that I wish it was motion activated on its own. I have a motion sensor that works with the lights but I had to purchase it separately.

I think this is a great option if you already have the hue system in place. Especially if you're replacing outdoor lights already. I like that I can put them on a timer / schedule.

We've replaced 3x lights on our home to Phillips Outdoor units and could not be more pleased. Due to the essentially nil heat from the LED's the fixtures are fully sealed, thus, annoying bugs and what not will compromise the integrity of the units or require cleaning. An excellent addition to our home, we are very pleased.

Set up with my Phillips light hub works great super bright, easy to install. Love controlling this from my phone.

Honestly, I wouldn't buy them at the full price, but I scored 2 kits for 30 bucks each. At 30 bucks, they're more than worth it. They're kind of a pain to schedule at certain brightness, they're Blindingly bright at full brightness, and alright at lower brightness. But I can't find a way in the native app to schedule them to come on at 40% brightness. Instead they default to max.

This lights up the entire area without any blind spots. Easy to set up.

The thing I like best about this light fixture is it designed to work with the size of the bulb. You get a the benefits of design to shield your LED bulb, and the peace of mind knowing you can customize the operation time.

The flood lights look great! The light output is very bright (1200 Lumens). They connected to my HUE hub no problem. I have them on schedule and geo fencing. They come on and go off when it dark and light.

I bought this for my house since there wasn't a spotlight present. The unit works great and matches the styling of the house. There are a couple of things that I found interesting upon purchasing this unit. First is the light fixture itself doesn't house any sort of electronics, rather everything is contained in the bulbs. So that means that if you don't like the light fixture, you can simply purchase these bulbs and choose your own fixture. Secondly, each bulb is controlled separately, which I wasn't expecting. Overall I'm happy for the unit.

I have Hue bulbs in all of my rooms. Now I have them outside as well. I needed to replace two that I had outside in the backyard. This makes it easier to control

One of my favorite Hue accessories at my home. Solid connectivity, great dimming range, easy installation.

There is nothing special about the fixture other than it is a mix of a metal base and plastic shrouds. It seems to be well constructed and you can adjust the lights to almost any angle. The bulbs are where the magic happens and they blend in seamlessly to the a Philips Hue ecosystem. I linked my lights to a Hue Motion Sensor so I can detect movement in my back yard. Both work well.

My whole place is pretty much HUE. Expensive but works well every time. Other brands do not offer the same reliability.

Looks good but no built in sensor. Bulbs are built in.
