I usually play your stereotypical 1st person shooters, but this game is different. It's a game my 6yr old can play without acquiring any negative feedback from other players, or experiencing full on gorriness. He loves this game and as parents, we approve it.

The solo mode is really amazing. It is also amazing if you have the Xboxlive.

The controls were a little diffict at first. The story line was great. The diff characters were fun.

I primarily got this for my boys (< 8 yrs) to play together (coop mode). I have been trying to avoid violent games. I would describe this game as being at the border-line (it's essentially an RPG mayhem). There are Zombie attacks, lots of shooting/slashing, albeit all cartoon characters. It's a bit on the difficult side for my kids (their intro into console gaming world). On the good part, graphics/animation is superb. We were able to play solo, split-screen 2-player mode, etc.

My son has been playing this game non-stop since he got it, says it is better than the first one, and loves all the new characters. He looks to be having fun playing the game, so I definitely recommend it to anyone who loved the first one.

The multiplayer and ops are similar to the first game, but they've added a home garden with various quests and collectibles. I love the new characters. They're all fun to play and have their strengths depending on your style.

They did an amazing job on this sequel. Graphics and gameplay are great as well as the side bonuses and extra characters. Great game for entire fam and so addicting

My son loved plants vs zombies 1 so this was a no brainer for him. The game is fun and let's kids play a shooter that is not violent and gory.

Fun sequel to the first one, much more to do and many more characters. Fun to play.

My don and I can play on same or different teams as well as online in multiple player. New characters are fun.

I originally bought this game to play with my kid nephew. It's cartoony and colorful with split screen and fairly simple controls. I was surprised to find a balanced shooter with excellent levels and great gameplay. I would recommend this game for anyone with kids too young for the more mature shooters and anyone else looking for a funny, lighthearted romp.

Good game for kids, great entertainment and low prices

If you're looking for a shooter for your kids, this is a great one because it's not gory or graphically real like most shooters. There's no inappropriate content for children. It has less cartoon violence than the old Warner Bros cartoons! I notice a lot of kids playing the game so parents apparently approve. Its Plants. Its Zombies! It is cartoon multiplayer garden warfare! Players swap between plants and zombies and attempt to eliminate the other side. It's basic, simple, and fun! I've joined in and it's fun to play. Based on your success you can earn cards which unlock new versions of characters. It's good stuff. Highly recommend!

This game is just as fun to play as the first Garden Warfare. It is a blast to play even for non-hardcore online multiplayer shooter gamers. You can play this game for hundreds of hours if you want to unlock everything in it.

Just like the last game, the game play is fun and addicting. - They developers decided to add a 'hub world' of sorts from which you can access all your game modes, as well as do quests and grind for XP. It is nice to be able to try out a new character in this environment before jumping into online play. - Most of the new characters are fun and interesting. - The new maps are creative and well designed. - I guess this game is great for kids? I am 19 but I love it anyway. Sure it is violent but its not like there is blood and gore. - Leveling up is much easier and more rewarding.

When people first heard EA had plans to make Plants Vs Zombies, a mobile-based tower defense game, into a shooter running on the same graphics engine as Battlefield, everyone thought they were crazy. Well the first game shut down all naysayers with a great class-based shooter experience. Now we have the second installment and they beefed it up w/ new characters, new unlockables, and new modes. That being said, this is an online multiplayer game at its core so if you just want to play solo campaigns, you may want to skip this one.

I loved the first plants vs zombies and it was priced just right for what it offered now this game game out i was excited with all that they had added to it there are small missions to complete that are fun and the multiplayer is a blast. If your a fan of plants vs zombies this game is a must buy
