I purchased a new 2020 Zephryus G14. Using this on the right USB-C port since the laptop is too thin for ethernet. The adapter is rated for gigabit speeds, and it definitely gets up there. My Xfinity Comcast connection is pulling about 600/700 download right now on all my other machines in the house too. Heck, even the bit of braided cable adds a nice premium touch. Very happy overall with this purchase.

Works great, no glitches or hiccups, helped me get my work done on Mac book without anymore stress. Was connected to 20 foot Ethernet cable, no glitches, mind you weight of cable to it and while being connected to Mac.

Awesome Ethernet to USB-C adapter. Worked great at connecting and providing high speed ethernet connection on my MacBook Air.There was no loss of connection speed. Ultimately it functions and the price is reasonable, Love this product. I think the price is reasonable also.

Adds Ethernet capability. Supports the 1gb speed I have. Only situation I have seen a couple of times is the device "turns off" where I have to disconnect and reconnect to "turn it on". However that has only occured when the laptop has been asleep or offline for a while. Ensure you have a USB-C (either already onboard or via a connector comverter) to connect to the PC. Also check availability, these were hard to find when I needed it. Luckily I got the last one at the time.

This USB-C to Ethernet adapter feels cheap for 20$, but it is a Best Buy brand so that makes sense. It does its job though, wifi gave me 200-300 mbps and now my speed is about 800 mbps. its enough for me.

It fell from about 5 stories onto a metal grate. The plastic casing is now cracked all over but the electronics are still intact and functional.

Works great needed for work. It was able to connect my laptop to my cable modem. And was just what I needed.

When I bought my new laptop I had no idea that it was missing the availability of plugging in my hard wired Internet, all my other pass laptops did, but I guess the new ones don’t have the extra slot therefore I had to buy this piece which I didn’t know existed to be able to hardwire my laptop, in my home it’s hard to get good Internet wireless due to it being a second story and a lot of heavy tile throughout the home, this works, my suggestion is that you get a longer one if you are able to this one was short and cheap that solve my problem.

I work helpdesk, so you know that means I do work on the side for my friends and family. Some of those individuals have laptops that lack an ethernet plug. Got this as an early Xmas present to work on my mom's newer Dell laptop that lacked an ethernet plug and the wifi wasn't working. Ended up having to reset the OS, but the adapter allowed much faster download of Windows updates compared to the on-board wifi adapter. It's pricier than the competiton, but it works great. Very fast, no drivers needed, plug and play.

Does the job it is supposed to do. I'm using it with my 2020 MacBook Pro M1 that only has USB-C ports. I've had no issues the handful of times I've needed to use this adapter, even when I've had to connect it via another adapter due to needing additional ports (like HDMI, SD Card Reader, etc) and my MBP only has 2 USB-C built in ports.

I’ve been using this adapter for over a week now, and I have to say that I’m very impressed with it! My new Windows 11 laptop did not come with an Ethernet jack, so I figured I would try this. I don’t have any USB-C devices, so I felt this device was my best option to utilize this port. I connected this unit to my router using a CAT 6 cable, and I am consistently getting 950 Mbps download speeds on my Comcast 800 Mbps service! I feel that this adapter is quality made, and I really like the braided cable. The lights on the adapter also let me know that it’s functioning properly. This is a great product, and I would recommend it to others.

This adapter is a must for any MacBook user that needs to connect to a Lan network. I would highly recommend it. All I did was plug it in and boom I was on the network. No setup required. The MacBook instantly recognized it and worked right out of the package. I was connected to the Lan. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs to connect to a work network like at work our even at home connecting at gigabit network.
