No it will not. I bought it for the switch as it labeled for, but it even says on the box that it isn't made for the switch. I even attempted it and it did not work for the dock.

The DMG-04 cable is a Game Link Cable for the original Game Boy. This adapter is a USB wall adapter created for charging Nintendo Switch accessories. As such, this adapter in no way, shape, or form can interact with the DMG-04, nor would you want it to.

It's not meant to be used to charge the Switch. If you tried, it would probably charge really slowly.

I'm assuming you're asking if this will charge any controllers such as the Pro Controller or Joy-cons. It can charge them, but keep in mind that you'll require some kind of charging stand or dock for Joy-Cons if you're not charging them with the Switch itself. It should charge other USB enabled controller as well, such as PS4 or Wii U Pro controllers as long as you have the correct cable for them.
