Me experience is that the responses are too sensitive. I have played with a GT Thrustmaster 300 and the PS4 Dualshock but to not much luck. I have adjusted controller sensitivity, played with assists (TC, SM, ABS, etc.) both on and off as well as in varying combinations and can never really get a good feeling set-up. The included Race Engineer can only help so much, and some of the cars aren't very adjustable (I'm looking at you Ginetta!). I have played lots of racing games (including Project Cars 1) and am typically an "above average" racer but but at times (right car on right track) I feel unstoppable online (its pretty rare but does happen). In this game sometimes I struggle to even bring the car home... I feel like this could be a great game... looks good, seems realistic, plenty of car and track variety... I just can't get it to work for me very well, so apparently this game is not for me... So that's why I give 4 out of 5 stars b/c I feel part of this is my fault, but I think some updates could help. Currently wouldn't recommend to a friend based on my experiences and the other great racers out or coming out this year. Currently Playing Forza 7 on Pro drivatar difficulty and usually getting 1st. Will be picking up GT Sport today, was able to come out pretty good on the demo races here too (had to do some of the event maybe 10 times or so to get 1st, but I could get there).

The graphics, menu and racing is one of the best I have seen. This is meant to be a hardcore simulation. However, if you do some internet research you can find some tips for fine tuning the cars to make a bit more driveable. Gran Turismo GT Sport is a bit easier, but does not have a career mode.

Let me start off by saying that this is a Sim Racing game. It is by no means easy, but with that being said Project Cars 2 is insanely realistic, addicting and fun. I dabbled a bit into the career mode, but mostly been spending my time online. You race against a lot of respectable fellow racers who race clean. The tracks are a lot of fun, the cars have a lot of liveries to pick from. My one main grip is the sound issue, it seems to me the sound overall is too low of a volume.

Was debating on getting a competitor game that hadn’t come out in a while. Downloaded the demo for that game and after playing for a minute thought to myself, there’s something wrong here, popped up project cars the first one to compare and was like , if project cars looks, drives and sounds this good and it came out years earlier, the new one must be the bomb. And was not mistaken great game just a bit of a hard leaning curve.

Best racing game on ps4. The game has the best track selection of any racer out there, great vehicle damage and decent grafics. The game just doesn't have enough cars and forzavista type mode , that's why I think I Wil be buying Xbox x and a copy of fora 7 for my car loving needs.

Can only play one player. I know that it’s very very realistic with a great selection of cars. The tracks are pretty good and there are plenty of them.

Was really looking forward to this game since I enjoyed the first. There are some new tracks and cars but most are just repeats from the first

Unlike the Likes of Forza or Gran Turismo, this game is a full simulator and it's definitely not easy either. Recommend to play using a wheel but a controller does work pretty well unlike the original game. The handling is really good and you will probably lose a lot, but once you get the feel of it and start racing better it is quite rewarding. Graphics are so so compared to the console competition but I'm thoroughly enjoying playing this game.

AI is pretty bad but the game is fun. Its very sim oriented though, dont buy expecting Need for Speed.

This game really has great graphics, but it is weighted so heavilty toward sim and steering wheel use. Playing with a controller is brutally tough to do. There is also a low number of cars in comparision to other driving games. Overall I think the package is good and the driving is amazing, its just not that accessible for all users. You need to be more sim style expert to make use of this game in the way intended.

I love the game and the grafix. The game works well with a steering wheel and a challenge to play 2 thumbs up.

I'm in the minority I guess but I actually really like the handling on gamepad. I can correct from over steer, unroll the wheel properly coming out of a turn, and brake and throttle with comfort. I've always liked the project cars career, and in project cars 2 it's been fun so far. Unfortunately the AI still leaves a lot to be desired, and I've typically been faced with poor connections in multiplayer settings (despite having fast internet). I think it could've been a perfect game that is unfortunately hindered by some frame rate issues, inconsistent AI and at the moment spotty multiplayer connections. I still thoroughly enjoy it though, hopefully it gets better with time.

Good amount of car variety, extremely fun to race with just the standard controller.

He loves this game thus far. He said the graphics and sound was sweet.

I did not know what to expect from Project Cars (overall). I always played Forza/Grand Turismo. PC2 came out to be better than both because of the realism and options of cars and tracks. Great buy if you are into the real simulations)

if you really like tweaking your settings to get the most out of your vehicles this game has plenty of options to allow you to do just that, graphics look good. just wish i had the force feedback steering wheel to really get into it

Game looks and feels amazing. Cars and tracks are life like. Still needs work with the AI but over all much better. Great SIM racing.

Project Cars 2 is the most realistic racing sim out there. The realism of the game is frightening. Compared to the 1st Project Cars, this game is light years ahead on the handling and track mapping. Online game play is great and the new driver rating system allows you to keep the reckless players out of your game play. 5 stars from me!

My son wanted a racing game for the PS4, and voila! Your wish is my fatherly command! He's been having a fun time playing the game, but I have noticed he has drifted (no pun intended) towards Mario Kart occasionally.
