The RETRO-1980 is a portable auto-reverse stereo cassette player and recorder with two-way Bluetooth. Stream music from your phone to the built-in speaker (RX mode), or send your cassette audio to Bluetooth headphones or speakers (TX mode). Auto reverse plays Side A then Side B without flipping the tape, for both playback and recording. Record voice notes with the built-in microphone, or record music streamed over Bluetooth straight to cassette. Listen through the built-in speaker, the included stereo earphones, wired headphones, or Bluetooth. The built-in rechargeable battery charges over USB-C (cable included), so no AA batteries are needed. Thumbwheel volume control and simple onboard buttons keep it easy to use. Records to cassette tape only; it does not convert tapes to MP3 or USB.
