The RackSolutions 1U Adjustable Network Switch Shelf solves the recurring problem of rack mounting a switch that was never designed to be rack mounted. The shelf width adjusts from 6.3in to 11.4in, which covers most compact network and AV switches, and the front of the shelf closes off the unused rack opening so cabinet airflow is not short-circuited around the equipment. A plated side tray holds the power brick and cord, secured with an included hook-and-loop strap, which keeps the power supply off the cabinet floor. The shelf is built from 16 GA steel and arrives fully assembled, so installation into a 2Post or 4Post rack is a matter of minutes. It works with hardware from Cisco, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Netgear and Dell among others.
