The RackSolutions 1U Light Duty Fixed Shelf holds the equipment in a rack that has no rack ears: server towers, printers, desktop PCs and similar. It is built from US steel and supports up to 100 lbs, 45.36 kg. Mounting depth adjusts from 3in to 29.75in, 76 to 755 mm, which is an unusually wide range and lets the same shelf serve shallow wall cabinets and full-depth racks. It fits any 2Post or 4Post rack with square, round or threaded holes. The vented surface keeps air moving and includes pass-throughs so cable ties can anchor equipment directly to the shelf. An anti-slip mat is supplied. The shelf can be mounted either way up: one orientation gives maximum usable width, the other consumes the least rack space.
