The RackSolutions 1U Sliding Laptop Shelf gives technicians a stable working surface inside a server rack without giving up more than one rack unit. It mounts in 4Post racks with square, round or threaded holes, and the mounting depth adjusts from 10in to 30in so the same shelf works in shallow network cabinets and full-depth server racks. The usable surface measures 18in long by 16.34in wide, enough for most laptops up to 18in deep along with a mouse or a piece of handheld test equipment. Ball bearing slide rails carry the shelf out a full 20in for access and lock out at full extension so it stays put while in use. The shelf supports up to 75 lbs, 35 kgs, and pairs with the RackSolutions 1U cable management arm when cables need to travel with the shelf.
