The RackSolutions 2U Raven 105-A Rail mounts HP DL380 Gen 8, Gen 9 and Gen 10 servers, along with the HP SimpliVity 380, in either a 4Post server rack or a 2Post relay rack. Mounting depth adjusts across an unusually wide range, from 3.0in to 32.0in, which is what allows one part to cover both rack types. It replaces the HP OEM rail kits for the DL380 and DL560 across those generations. These are dry slide rails: the server slides in and out, but there is no ball bearing mechanism and no stop catch, so the chassis can be drawn fully clear rather than stopping partway. In 2Post racks the rail center-mounts on uprights from 3in to 6in.
