These were pretty cool while they lasted, which was less than a month! The concept itself is cool, in theory, but the app is clunky and the functionality is limited ...unless you are willing to let META process all of your data, which I am not. The photos and video quality are great for any vertical format social media assuming you have plenty of light. Low-light situations are less than ideal but will work in a pinch as long as you're ok with grainy content. It's a little hard to get used to the camera being on the left side, but you'll get used to it, and framing can easily be overcome by simply closing your right eye when you start the videos. The durability isn't great, and I noticed a lot of scratches on the lenses and the frames with light use. I did drop them off the top of my head twice when leaning back. Unfortunately the 2nd time the glasses no longer worked and will not connect to the app anymore. I have ordered two more pairs to do some testing with over the next couple of weeks, so I'll update my review if things change, but at this point, I'd probably recommend waiting for someone to do this with onboard AI and all the processing performed locally so it's more private, which will probably be Apple. If Meta updates their software over time or improves things I'll let you guys know.... The bottom line, it's not a bad deal for the price, assuming you're ok with the limitations and how fragile they are. I'll let you guys know if Ray-Ban or Meta replaces the broken pair I have now. I tried to file a claim on their website, but of course, I get an error when I try to enter the serial number that was entered directly from their app.

Ordered online to the Edgewood Store, I picked them up on my lunch break and went back to work something told me to open them and they were used dirty with scratches on the lenses hot mess. So I tried to get intouch with someone at the store a hot mess so when I got off work I went back to the store to get this straight I came in contact with two associates, one was new so I was told by the other associate he was heavy set with short hair colored reddish orange or something and to top it off one of the cashier the heavy one try to insinuate that I had probably swamp them out " talking about check the model number looking at me. The manager took care of me but all he did and he did it wasn't necessary the heavy weight associate. I will never order anything from this store.

I purchased these Ray-Ban glasses from Best Buy just a couple of months ago and wore them only a few times. Unfortunately, the temple arm came loose from the main frame hinge (photo attached). For such a premium brand, I expected much better quality and durability. The warranty process also turned out to be very slow, with Ray-Ban informing me it could take at least 25–30 days for a replacement. That’s a long time to wait when the product has only been used lightly. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the durability and the support timeline. Customers paying a premium deserve both reliable quality and a quicker resolution. While this is clearly a Ray-Ban issue, it would have been much easier if Best Buy allowed warranty claims or exchanges directly in-store for products purchased through them. That would make the whole experience much smoother for customers.

I bought them to use them and the battery didn’t hold at all! The smallest size they had was a large! I downloaded the app and made sure every thing was set up and the connection was horrible! I saved up to get them and I was very disappointed!

I purchased the Ray-Ban Meta and unfortunately received it with a defect on the left temple. While Best Buy allows returns within 15 days, I was outside the U.S. at the time and couldn’t send it back in time. When I contacted Best Buy support, I was informed that returns are only accepted within the U.S. or in person at a store, which made it impossible for me to resolve the issue. To make things worse, the Ray-Ban Meta is not yet available in Brazil, which means Meta and Ray-Ban do not offer technical support or warranty coverage here. As a result, I was left with a defective product and no official solution. The device itself may have potential, but customers outside the U.S. should be aware that support and warranty options are extremely limited.

My pair of glasses broke after a few uses. The frame material is made with poor quality. Best buy and Ray-ban refused to help me to fix it so beware if you are going to buy this pair of glasses. Protection plan is a must!

They work fairly well. Battery life could be better. Takes smooth videos on the go. I've broken two pairs in less than a year the plastic is very cheap. Both pairs my ear piece broke very easily. There is no replacement parts or a way to repair them in anyway FYI.

Took them back after a few days, there is obnoxious white LED light that blinks when recording that anyone in front of you can see. It was a distraction, people stopped and asked why are your glasses blinking? There is no way to turn it off or cover it. The battery drained so fast when recording I would be surprised if lasted longer then 20 minutes. I actually took a video of how fast the battery percentage dropped when recording with my phone. The music sound was great, so unless you are only going to use it for music, air pods are much better, I would not purchase these until they can update to turn off the bright light and figure out the battery issue. Was surprised about the battery life with todays technology. The commercial for the glasses made it seem like there is a heads up display you can see/read, no such thing.

Unfortunately, first-generation products often come with a lot of issues—and these glasses are no exception. First, Meta didn’t work properly; it kept disconnecting from Bluetooth. Then, after taking just a few photos and videos, the battery would drop drastically. I understand it’s a tiny camera, but honestly, both the video and photo quality are poor—it’s like taking a picture with a cellphone from the year 2000. So for that, I’d rather just wear classic Ray-Bans, not Meta.

The glasses are awesome until the battery for both the glasses and case stop holding a charge 2 weeks after the warranty expires. I contact Ray-Ban and they only offer me a different pair at 20% off. They were $400!!!

To use your Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses, you must first pair them to your phone using the Meta AI mobile app - this can be downloaded from your phone's app store.
To pair the glasses to your phone, please follow the below steps:
1. Remove the glasses from the case.
2. Turn the glasses on by sliding the power switch on the left frame towards the front of the glasses.
3. Put the glasses back into the case - ensure that you have gently pushed down on the top of the glasses so that the bottom of the nose bridge on your glasses makes contact with the charging port inside the case.
4. When the case LED starts flashing blue, your glasses are ready to pair with the app - if the glasses don't automatically go into pairing mode, please press and hold the button on the back of the case for at least 5 seconds.
5. In the Meta AI mobile app, tap the Glasses icon in the top right and follow the on-screen instructions.

Battery is not working now and best buy port richey store did not wanted replace for another one washing their hands saying that contact rayban so i did now im waiting for a box from then to send it back and wait so they can send me a new replacement. So disappointed of the store . Check the year of manufacture sometimes is old products that been sitting for months and well the batteries gets damage sometimes because of that long sitting .

They are nice but a week after purchasing the product it stopped recognizing the cell phone so I have not been able to use it for the purpose of purchase, for this reason I am going to return them so you can check what it has, why it does not recognize my cell phones or exchange it for another one.

Very disappointed! Really wanted to love these but the battery life is absolutely horrible on them! Style is nice though, did not come with charger or anything. Wasn’t able to return them so I’m stuck with them now. Not sure if I got a defective pair but I barely use them and they are dead!

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience regarding your Meta Ray-Ban purchase.
Fully charged glasses last up to 4 hours for moderate usage and up to 3 hours with continuous audio streaming and voice assistance. This may vary with use and other factors.
To charge your glasses, put them in the charging case and place it on the nose bridge inside the charging case. This is the only way to charge the glasses. You'll know your glasses are charging when the case LED blinks after you've docked them and closed the case. You can also see a charging icon in the Meta AI app. Please be aware that the first time you charge your glasses you need to remove the protective plastic tab from the metal charging connections on the case.
To charge your charging case, connect the case to a power adapter using a USB-C cable and plug it into the front of the charging case. This is the only way to charge the case.
If you do believe you require further assistance with your glasses, please reach out to Ray-Ban via their official website where they can provide further troubleshooting, and look into what your options may be.

I have had issues since I purchased these glasses and it has only been one month. It’s a hassle to get a service request because you can actually speak with anyone. Everything is via chat or email. Highly disappointed!
