They are very fun for the first few days. That’s until you have the realization that they do everything you can already do with your phone. The pictures and videos are however super fun to take. Downloading the videos can be a pain in the rear however. The lenses on the clear ones are a pain to clean (however that could be more a case of user error than product defect). I couldn’t figure out how to take the lenses out to clean them without making them dirty when popping them back in. You HAVE to take the lenses out to clean them or else you can damage the glasses. The sound quality on them is surprisingly REALLY great! I would wait until they get more features or are more useful. The integration could be more seamless, and I hope Apple has a go at making their own. For the money I don’t think they’re worth it.

I don’t consider myself to have a fat head, but these are very uncomfortable after wearing them for about an hour. There is a lot of pressure over the ears, unlike any other glasses I’ve used. Transitions are good, but do not work in the car due to the windshield.

Thank you for your review, we appreciate your feedback as it helps us to keep improving!
It's unfortunate to hear that your experience with the Wayfarer hasn't been an altogether comfortable one.
Although it isn't ideal, third-party ear protectors may be able to offer some respite for you if you find the pressure over the ears too uncomfortable.
You can also contact the friendly team at Ray-Ban Support, they will be happy to look into this for you, and hopefully find a solution. [Ray-Barn Support](https://www.ray-ban.com/usa/contact-us)

Manufacturing quality was not worth the price-- cheap feeling plastic and poorly put together-- perks were not as useful. Overall not worth it.

These glasses are great except for the “Hey Meta” assistant feature. That never works and almost makes me want to return them.

These don’t live up to the hype in my opinion. The videos look good but only record for 3 mins, the battery life isn’t good if you actually use them to record, and lastly the transition lenses don’t get dark enough in the sun (unlike sunglasses, it’s just a light tint, allowing others to still see your eyes). Also, I understand & agree with the privacy reasons for the blinking light while recording but sometimes it causes others to interrupt my videos because they see the flashing light & want to ask about the glasses. I mainly use these to record work situations as a truck driver while driving, fueling, and hooking/unhooking trailers. I also use these to record my son’s sports games which is where I get the most interruptions because people are curious about the flashing light. One of the main reasons I wanted these was because I seen the commercial showing them being used on a video call. I didn’t realize that they only work with video call on facebook messenger, not with iPhone FaceTime. I don’t use Facebook & only video call my immediate family so why would I use messenger to video call instead of FaceTime? So that defeats the purpose. I have some cheaper -$60 Amazon camera sunglasses that seem to be more bang for my buck than these $300+ glasses. I’ll say they’re overrated for now but hopefully software updates can improve the glasses.

Based on my experience with this product heres my assessment: Pros - Glasses are pretty comfortable - Provides feature to listen to music and integration with Spotify - Provides feature to take pictures and videos(max 60 secs) using the button or through voice command - Able to send text messages and through WhatsApp - Fast charging from 50% to 100% in 30mins Cons - High battery consumption regardless of listening to music, using AI, taking photos or videos - Does not provide capability to read text and WhatsApp messages - “Hey Meta” is sometimes not responsive and results are not very accurate - Importing photos and videos are not very stable - 50% battery consumption observed with less than an hour usage when there’s mixed activity with listening to music, taking pictures, and videos - Playing music only using Spotify consumes 31% of battery in 30mins - Taking 10 videos with max 60 seconds runtime consumes 25%

Frames feel solid, the transition lenses are actually really cool and work well. Problem is I bought these for dog walk content in MN and apparently cold kills these. And this is mild winter temps. Meta estimates up to 4hrs battery life and gave example of 100 videos + syncing as what to expect. My real life results: Walk 1: 34°f, sunny. 23 videos and a 1min test live stream. Got a 2% battery warning around 40 min into walk so i stopped using for rest of walk. Walk 2: 27°f, night, 13 videos (8.5min of footage) before dying over a 30min span. I was recording a clip of the battery life being bad and as if on cue it dropped from 42% to 2% live while recording lol. If you create outdoor winter content, these won't be worth it. Imagine actual MN temps at under 0° -- theyd probably just turn off. Separately Meta AI is not good, you cant look up sports scores or other real time info.

Rayban never disappoints. The 2 star is only for the glass and 0 for other meta inclusions. The hardware and software is terrible. Battery life is nowhere near whats promised makes it unsuitable for most circumstances. Meta assistant mostly works fine. Audio is good. Touchpad need more work. The worst thing is the bluetooth connection. Worked fine first few days, but now its a major headache. Its automatically disconnects sometimes and u need to turn off and on the glass to reconnect.

Runs you phone battery down expeditiously, capture time limited to 3 mins, files are mad big and easily eat up ur storage. When live streaming to insta, video quality is potato. Dropped from my face while I bent over and would not charge or turn on until I double wrapped a rubber band on the left arm near the power button. You would think it was a bit more durable. Meta is a horrible assistant, it won’t give you navigation and live translation is wack.

Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We want all of our users to have the best experience possible, therefore, we're constantly looking to improve our products.
It would appear you have a few concerns regarding your Ray-Ban Meta glasses. Not to worry though, we'd be more than happy to address these for you.
As the Ray-Ban Meta glasses are constantly using various features such as Bluetooth connection, Meta AI and video recording, it is expected that it will cause your phone battery to drain fast.
We completely understand you're keen to record all of the precious moments, however, 3 minutes is the maximum standard video capture time. Not to worry though, if you'd like to do continuous recording, you can do so by livestreaming to Facebook or Instagram for a longer duration.
All content from the smart glasses are stored locally in the Meta AI app. There is no cloud storage for the Ray-Ban Meta glasses. Because of this, we would recommend saving all of your favorite photos and videos onto your phone's camera roll or your preferred cloud storage provider.
When faced with charging issues, we'd recommended leaving the glasses inside the case and charging for 30 minutes. After this, slide the power switch towards the lens in the 'on' position. The LED should blink white. If the glasses are not turning on, please put them back into the case and try a different outlet, cable or charger. If, after this, you are still experiencing issues, please don't hesitate to contact our wonderful Customer Support team so that one of our lovely colleagues can look into possible replacement options. They can be contacted via our website.
When using live translation on the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, it will allow you to understand speech or listen to audio in French, Italian, Spanish or English.
We hope this provides some clarity.
Feel free to reach out if you have any other queries or concerns. Our agents are available 24/7!

I recently purchased the meta glasses with AI functionality, and while I absolutely love the speakers and the innovative features, I am compelled to return them. The main issue is that the translucent lenses are not dark enough for full sunlight exposure. This is particularly problematic when driving and it’s quite uncomfortable and frustrating. It's disappointing because the glasses have such great potential, but the insufficient lens darkness really limits their usability in bright conditions. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them for anyone who spends time outdoors or needs to drive in sunny weather.

purchased for fishing trip into the gulf of America worked great for three hours then started to get hot on left ear peace checked on phone and it said to cool it down. all i could do is put it in its case till trip was over.. well it was over and done would not charge and got very hot and never turned back on. I finally found a location that had a pair to exchange on my way back home from vacation trip thankful that I purchased the warranty new pair working as expected note to self bring a cooler to place them in if spending time in the heat outside.

I bought these back in late December early January. It is now the beginning of April and my glasses just stopped working out of nowhere. Best Buy and Rayban will not take responsibility even with them not even being six months old. I get it if they were damaged, but my glasses are in prestige condition really looks like they just came out out of the box.

Sooo I bought them thinking I could see things in the lens. Videos, msgs, etc. Nope. So it's my fault ig that the review is so low. They just play sounds. Extra $100 just to transition from clear. Light comes on when it records. I wanted them to be so much more.

I purchased Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarers last Friday, excited about the smart features and accessibility options. Just 5 days later, the left arm completely disconnected from the frame, dangling uselessly. Despite attempts to reattach it, the connection point seemed fundamentally flawed. Thankfully, Best Buy's customer service was excellent. They quickly processed a replacement, upgrading me to the Headliners model at no additional cost. While I love the Meta technology and features, I'm deeply concerned about the build quality of these premium $300 glasses. The replacement process was smooth, but I shouldn't have needed it for a brand-new product. I hope the Headliners model proves more durable, as the technology itself is truly impressive when it actually stays in one piece.

Worked amazingly the first two times I used them, but then they kept disconnecting from my phone and reconnecting even after multiple tries at a reset. Maybe it was just a lemon.
