Had them for 3 weeks. Already malfunctioning. The light on them stay on even when it’s switched off! Idk what the matter is. Overall there cool for the POV content, pics, and videos. Battery life is like 3-4 hours.

Hello Corey, thank you for the review.
We understand you are having some issues with your Ray-Ban glasses light staying on even when they are turned off. We know this is not ideal and we would like to suggest some helpful steps you can take to force restart your glasses, this should fix the issue you are having with your LED light.
To force restart your glasses using the Meta AI app:
-In the Meta AI App, tap the Glasses icon
-If you have multiple devices paired with the Meta AI mobile app, swipe left or right to select the device you want to use
-Tap Settings
-Tap General
-Tap Force restart
We hope this has helped and your glasses are now functioning the way you expect them to. If you are still having issues however, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our support team via our Meta online help center. One of our advisors would be more than happy to help!

I bought the transition model so that I can use them inside and out. I want to like the so much. I want to be blown away by them so much. I want to say they are amazing, but… they are lacking in several ways. My biggest disappointment is that they do not transition to dark enough to be comfortable as sunglasses. I was squinting and straining the whole time in the sun. Taking pictures was great and fine but when taking a video, after I turned it off, the glasses told me the lens was covered. It was not covered and it did take the video. They also make my face sweat a lot. I would love to see a smaller (lens) version. The charging case is pretty cool. It has contacts on the nose of the glasses that connect in the case and charge. The indicator light tells you if they are charged or charging.

Easy to use and picture quality is great. Sound quality depends on the app I've found, but mostly great. I wish the meta ai could do a few more things, and I wish the battery wasn't so short lasting.

These glasses have phenomenal picture and video quality! They are comfortable and easily comfortable. However, if you stay on my phone the battery dies super fast! Meaning a few hours. The battery life is one of the most important things to me.

If James Bond and Iron Man designed eyewear together, the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarers would be the result. Let’s start with style—these are the classic Wayfarers, just upgraded with a side of futuristic sauce. The shiny black frame with clear lenses looks sleek and unassuming—ideal for daily wear whether you’re in scrubs, streetwear, or full-on CEO energy. On to the tech: Meta AI is smooth, fast, and surprisingly helpful. You can ask it for directions, take voice notes, control your tunes, or snap pics on the fly. It’s intuitive and surprisingly accurate—no yelling “HEY META” twelve times like you're summoning a ghost. Camera quality? Pretty solid for quick photos and short video clips. Think Instagram Story quality, not cinematic masterpiece. But for on-the-go content or capturing those blink-and-you-miss-it moments, it more than gets the job done. Sound quality? Here's where things get dicey. While the audio sounds fine to the wearer, the speaker placement—right at the nose bridge—is not ideal. If you’re on a call or playing something out loud, people on the other end may struggle to hear you clearly, especially in noisy environments. It’s one of those “great in theory, tricky in practice” situations. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely a detail Meta needs to refine. Battery life? About 4 hours with moderate use—so don’t expect a full day of adventure without a recharge. Final Verdict: These glasses are a whole vibe. If you're into wearables and want something that blends style and smart features, the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer is a forward-thinking fashion flex. Just know the audio isn't perfect—form meets function, but still needs a little fine-tuning.

I really like how simple and intuitive it is to record videos with these glasses. The camera quality is good, and I’ve used them many times on trips to capture quick videos for Instagram Stories without pulling out my phone. That convenience alone is a big win. They’re also nice for listening to music in quiet places. The open-ear speakers sound decent and let you stay aware of your surroundings, which I actually like when walking or traveling. However, in loud environments the audio quality drops noticeably, which is expected with open-ear speakers but still worth mentioning. The biggest downside for me is the battery life. In cold weather, the battery drained within about an hour, which was very disappointing. I’m pretty sure the low temperature made it worse, but even so, the battery performance is a major turn-off. Meta AI is another weak point right now. It feels very limited and not particularly useful. I really wish it supported something more powerful like ChatGPT. Overall, great idea and fun to use for quick video capture, but battery life and AI features need serious improvement.

Ive very much enjoy using these. They fit well, cameras work well for the specs. Battery isn't amazing, but you go into getting these, knowing that, so my expectations were basically as expected. My only real concern is durability. The right speaker now also emmits a buzzing sound when audio is playing, haven't taken or used them in extreme condtions. Possibly sweat or a bump at the right angle caused this unsure. I just hope it doesn't affect the mic down the road so I can still take videos with audio.

The integration with the phone needs to be better. Its all about meta apps and meta AI, which are not what I use. Getting video/photos off is also not seamless. Battery life is also not great. You can do nothing with it while wearing and still the battery life dies.

To optimize the battery life, you can disable the "Hey Meta" feature and instead use tap and hold to activate the voice assistant. To turn off "Hey Meta", open the Meta AI app > Settings, and disable it.

My experience with the Ray ban Meta sun shades are Ok. The battery isn't great but is expected for what it is. The picture and video quality isn't bad but no complaints. Downside to the video is it only shoots in protrait orientation. The Meta assistance works but not able to do everything yet. Assuming it's still learning.

Firstly the product is astounding. Its designed well, easy to use and fashion and form functional. The BIG issue is trying to grt your lenses installed in the frames. The ‘network’ of installers is nonsense. Rayban and LensCrafters is owned by Luxor and we can get them to either install the lenses or take the insurance to install our prescription lenses. Check first before buying with the actual optometrist before getting highly irritated about where you can get this done. As for thr product its so easy to use and yes taking video and phots and listening to music are simple to interact with.

Buckle up, tech aficionados! I've just dived headfirst into the next-gen tech spectacle extravaganza with my pre-ordered Ray-Ban Meta-Headliner (Standard) Smart Bluetooth Audio Glasses in Shiny Caramel Transparent and Teal Blue. Let me tell you, these bad boys are not just the future; they're the cool future! The Ray-Ban Meta collection is where iconic style meets cutting-edge wizardry. My geeky heart skipped a beat when I discovered the 12MP camera and five-microphone setup. Snapping life's epic moments and sharing them instantly on Instagram and Facebook is smoother than a Silicon Valley startup pitch. But that's not all, folks! The open-ear audio system is pure genius. It's like having your personal soundtrack follow you around without pesky wires or earbuds. Hands-free calling and messaging? Oh, it's a game-changer! WhatsApp, Messenger, SMS – all under the command of my voice. I've gone full superhero mode, multitasking like a tech wizard. The real star of the show is the Meta AI voice control. It's like having an AI genie in your glasses. "Hey, Ray-Ban, what's the weather today?" and voilà, you've got your answer! Lenses for every mood – sun, polarized, Transitions® – and they even play nice with prescription lenses. No excuses to not look sharp. Battery life? Solid! Up to four hours of use and a whopping 36 hours with the portable case. These glasses are ready for an all-day tech adventure. Worried about privacy? Fear not! There are easy privacy settings, and the Capture LED lets everyone know when you're recording, keeping things on the up-and-up. In a nutshell, the Ray-Ban Meta - Headliner Smart Bluetooth Audio Glasses are like wearing a slice of the future on your face. Ray-Ban's iconic style and tech awesomeness make them a must-have accessory. Pricey? Perhaps, but the features make every cent worthwhile for the tech-savvy crowd. I'm over the moon with my Ray-Ban Meta glasses. They've landed in my eyewear collection, which is large enough to give any influencer a run for their money. What sets these glasses apart isn't just the tech; it's the craftsmanship. Take, for instance, the temple. If you're wondering, that's the part of your sunglasses that hooks over your ears. In the Ray-Ban Meta glasses, it's where all the magic happens, housing the batteries, chips, and other tech gizmos that power these futuristic specs. It's clear that Ray-Ban has put some serious brainpower into this part. But, in the wild world of eyewear, I've learned a few things. The eyewear industry, largely ruled by Luxottica, plays the "made in Italy" or "made in China" game, but they claim the quality is top-notch no matter the origin. Now, while the materials here are great, I noticed a minor hiccup with the temple – a bit of sharpness where the two pieces meet. Don't get me wrong; the overall craftsmanship of the Ray-Ban Meta glasses is out of this world. They've seamlessly blended iconic design with space-age technology. But, that pesky temple issue means I'll be making a return and exchange. No one likes sharp edges on their futuristic gear! If you're on the hunt for fresh smart eyewear, the Ray-Ban Meta collection is an attractive choice. Just make sure your pair is free from any manufacturing quirks.

The Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses are definitely a fun and stylish piece of tech, but one thing I noticed when using the built-in cameras is that the photos you take are in a 3x4 aspect ratio, not the typical 9x16 that you might expect for modern photos and videos. At first, this threw me off a bit, since most of us are used to taking photos or recording videos in the 9x16 aspect ratio for social media or full-screen viewing. The 3x4 aspect ratio feels a little more like old-school photos, which isn’t a huge deal, but it does mean the images don’t fill your phone screen the way you're probably used to seeing them. The photos are still decent for everyday use, but if you’re hoping for a sleek, widescreen shot, this might be something to keep in mind. That being said, if you’re just capturing moments on the go and don’t mind the slightly different aspect ratio, it’s not a deal-breaker. The convenience of being able to take quick snaps or videos without having to grab your phone is still a major perk. Just know that you might need to crop or adjust some of your pictures later if you want them to fit the more standard formats.

They were really good at first : they blocked the sun, fit snug, but not too tight and I loved taking pictures. the videos were not the best, though. Then when I got used to them, they stopped pairing. I got a new phone and they still do not pair. Now out of warranty I have to sit with them on the phone when I can have my call picked up.
