These are awesome! Theyll read my messages to me, act as headphones, i can snap pictures or videos from my point of view, share messages and photos with my voice, ask AI questions, ask them to look at stuff and tell me about them. I used them to identify vehicle models, wildlife, and translate stuff. The translation feature is one of two of the features that I didnt love though. It only translates from a couple of languages and only from what you can see. The language I want to use is not supported. Only other con is the battery life is about 30-45 min of video recording (standby time is good enough - most of the day with some use). This isnt a big con though, as the included case carries extra battery charge and charges the glasses halfway in about 20 minutes. The 4 star review is specific to the transition lenses. They arent dark enough most of the time, like not at all while driving - and they cost extra! Im going to swap them out for some shaded ones. Those are gonna be 5 star.

I love these Meta Glasses for photos and videos. It also goes great when you want to make a video on a social media platform but sometimes I feel like there too dark or there not even green looking. They look black but there great. Just wish I had more uses then a couple things. Because if it worked with like Different AI and not Meta AI I would use them a lot more

I really enjoy these glasses overall, but there are a few areas I wish were better. The video quality is impressive, but the photo quality could definitely use improvement. Battery life is shorter than I’d like, and low-light performance leaves a lot to be desired. I placed my order on September 9th, only to find out a few weeks later that Gen 2 was launching. Unfortunately, I’m now outside the return window, which is a total bummer because the new release has all the upgrades I would’ve preferred. All in all, the glasses are good and fun to use, but I can’t help but feel I would’ve been much happier with the newer version.

If you're the kind of person who likes to minimize gadgets you carry, this is a good option. The Ray-Ban | Meta functions as a regular eyewear, earphones and handy camera in one. Sound quality is good for quiet environments, I use it to listen to audiobooks and podcasts and occasionally taking phone calls. If you've got prescription eyewear, swapping out the lenses is a breeze. The transitions lens from my old Wayfarer Ease fit in this frame and I have been using them since I got the glasses. Battery life isn't great. It doesn't last all day for me, at most I get 4 hours of continuous use before needing to charge them. The case doubles as a charger so keep it within your reach if you do use the camera to capture photos and videos. I haven't taken advantage of the AI functionalities because it drains the battery a lot faster. But so far, I am happy with them.

[Employee of bestbuy] The new Ray-Bay Meta glasses are not too heavy and have the benefit of the classic Wayfarer aesthetic. The camera quality is surprisingly good, even in darker settings. Even when not used for the camera, the audio is solid and quite passable. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a replacement for a good pair of earbuds, but the convenience factor is unparalleled. It functions as a quick camera, Bluetooth headset, and sunglasses. It's hard to beat, frankly. The Ray-Ban Meta glasses require the Meta View app on the Play Store/App Store to get their full functionality. It allows you to transfer the photos/videos you've taken from the glasses as well as change settings and setup options such as voice assistants. It also has integration with specific apps like Spotify, when set up it allows you to hold the media button (the side of the glasses) and it will recommend a song and begin playing (essentially an immediate smart shuffle, current Spotify users will know what I'm referring to). The only downside I have found is the battery life is not the greatest, roughly four hours of use. This appears to be the trade-off for the frame being much lighter than other smart glasses (of course still noticeably heavier than sunglasses by themselves). I did end up exchanging these glasses for the polarized version as these transition glasses do not work in a car. Something along the lines of, "The windshield blocks UV light so the glasses will not respond to the sunlight and revert back to clear". That's more of a lens "issue" rather than an issue with the glasses themselves, however. I would recommend these glasses in general if you like slick gadgets that don't scream tech nerd too heavily.

There were a couple of things keeping this from 5 stars. The main one is that it is not explicitly said how important the meta view app is to use the glasses. Anything to do with the camera requires the app. The cameras are simialr to an iphone 6s. Not great by todays standards but for a camera on your face exceeded my expectations. It is good to note as well that there is only one camera. The other camera looking part is a small led that lets people know you are recording. So when taking a picture it is always slight off from center. The microphones are very good and pick up sound all around you when taking video. The speakers can then play it back in a spatial audioesque way that is very good. While also doing a good job at isolating your voice. The batery life could be a bit longer. Granted the only time I’ve had them conpletely die is when live streaming. They advertise 4 hours of battery but this is longer if you put them in the case while in the shade. When lice streaming using the meta view app battery is drained very quickly. I got about 2% per min with no audio playing just live streaming. The changing case is very nice leather and acts like a normal case charging the glasses through contacts in the nose bridge. If these ever go in sale I would recomend getting them. Its fairly niche but the audio is good enough to justify it alone. I got transition lens with mine to be able to use them more and there great but it was not worth it. With regular lenses its more worth it. Again if it goes on sale I would say get it. Especially since raybans has many different models that are more expensive than these. Except these have added functionality.

I love these Glasses. The lenses do get dirty quickly and sometimes they are heavy on my ears. Being able to quickly take photos and videos hands free is very convenient. Decent sound quality. Quick set up! Decent video and picture quality. Doesn’t not y well in low lighting. Battery life could be better.

They got scratched up immediately but I’m rough on glasses. They’re cool, the AI is not the best and the battery overheats on a hot day in use. But for what it does I’m happy the video quality is great. They feel like normal glasses and have a light that lets you know it’s capturing.

Pros: Listen to Audio with ease without being obvious. The phone calls are pretty good too. The camera quality isn’t too shabby for a pair of glasses. The app is pretty simple to understand. The transitions do exact how I’d expect. The style is what my usual is as well. Cons: The really only complaint i do have is that they slide off my face easy. Ive tried making sure my face is dry and clean and still doesn’t stay up long if the slightest bit of mositure surrounds my nose. I’m constantly having to push them up every few minutes. I thought about those pieces you can put on nose spot but heard it can muffle microphone and it will fall off anyway. And the ones you get to hold behind ear most don’t fit properly. Overall I’m giving this a 4/5 as I do like the overall idea and what it can do, if the glasses would just stay better I’d give it the full 5 stars.

Great addition to anyone looking to add ease to taking photos and having headphones, good at voice commands and quick commands. Feel kind of cheap, like a cheaper plastic yet still durable. The battery life is outrageous, ive only charged the case 2 times in a month. Glasses last a few hours recording, taking pictures and playing music. Case charges them quick. The case is also very durable. Connectivity with phone and app is seamless and i have it set to auto import all photos and videos so they are available for immediate sharing. The mysic playback feature is beautiful as someone who hates things in my ears, sound quality is second to none, like gow do these glasses even have good bass and noise canceling without being in my ear???? Photo and video quality through social media looks amazing, havent done anything more than social media tho. Id say its on par with my go pro or galaxy s24 camera. Being able to go live and be hands free is amazing. Only reason for 4 starts is like i said the quality of the material used for the glasses/ lenses themselves. Overall would buy again.

Excellent quality does a variety of tasks love the camera and voice controls only down side is battery doesn't last as long as I would like but good glasses orherwise

Awesome glasses, quick tinting response, great video capabilities and sound. The only thing better would be audio that others around you can’t hear and a little bit longer battery life.

Definitely something useful in everyday life. Only two flaws: battery life and The transitions lens. The battery life drains very quickly; so I bought a wire adapter that connects to my phone which keeps it charged throughout the day. So that is helpful, but you have a wire connected. :| The transitions UV lens isn’t worth the cost. You have to be in direct sunlight in order for these to take effect. So just being in Daylight isn’t enough exposure to change to sunglasses.

Works amazing for video and photo. Audio gets distorted with extremely loud noises (Top Fuel Engine) but still audible. They will warn you if they are getting too warm and need to cool for video. I used to record the process in between NHRA racing runs and the actual run and had no issues. Wish you could extend the 3 minute video record time.

This is my 2nd pair of smart glasses I had the echo frames… I love these glasses a few things I don’t like, the sound isn’t loud enough if you work in a noisy area , and there is no way to turn off the led when shooting video or taking a picture, it’s a pointless feature and video or pics don’t work if you cover it.. the photos and videos are crystal clear

I love the look and feel. The camera is fun to play was you travel and hike. But sometimes Meta doesn’t work as well. It won’t respond at times. The sound is good but trying to get your music can be difficult. Overall a good purchase.

So far I'm loving these AI glasses. This was absolutely a great purchase. The battery life for me is sufficient as I don't wear them constantly.

It’s was good I just prefer the shaded ones. Overall, it serves its purpose and operates efficiently. Added a picture they look good on some people weren’t personally my favorite.
