I love the product . only thing I don’t like it too heavy it hurt my nose can’t wear too long and the other thing is the battery life ! you take 2or3 videos your battery already 50% down. sound quality really good convenient specially over the phone Bluetooth. this one is good for pleasure use not for heavy duty . only I feel like to give five star taking a picture for emergency matter z

Video Quality 10/10 Pictures 10/10 Battery life 7/10 -screws get loose within 1-2months and they start to slide down your nose very often -I used them for work and I would always wear a sombrero but when I would try to activate meta it would not work, I would need to remove my hat. -lasted 6 months they got a small crack on the middle and they no longer turned on -please purchase the warranty so you can get your money back. -you can replace the lenses easily -the product is great but I wish they were more durable. -pictures attached were taken with Meta Glasses gen1

Hi there Jesse,
We appreciate you leaving a review on the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer (Gen 1). We want you to have the best possible experience with the glasses, so we'd ask you to carry out the following steps:
1. Leave glasses in the case and charge for thirty minutes.
2. Slide power switch to the on position. LED should blink white.
3. If glasses do not turn on, try charging with:
- Different USB-C cable.
- Different USB-C power adapter.
- Different power source.
Should the glasses still fail to turn on, then please reach out to our wonderful Support Team via our official website, as they'd be more than happy to look further into the matter!

Hello RichardZ!
Thanks for your review! We're glad you love your Ray-Ban Meta glasses. We see that you experienced some connection and charging issues, which is obviously not what we want. Try resetting the case by holding the button on the back for 16 seconds. Also, make sure the glasses are seated properly. If that doesn't help, you can always contact our support team for assistance.

they are cool but not THAT cool. videos are only 1 minute long, and the case isn’t that great in quality. other than that they are ok i guess. the sound quality isn’t good enough to not use airpods but it’s ok. i keep trying to make them louder and it’s a frustrating when you can’t.

Glass is awesome the only thing i don't like is that you can only record 3 minutes and then it will stop it's not continuous recording.

Hello there, thank you for your post.
We appreciate all feedback and understand why you would prefer to make longer videos with our Meta Ray-bans. You can suggest that feature on our forums [here](https://communityforums.atmeta.com/), we are always looking for ways to improve and maybe our next iteration of glasses will allow you to film for longer, like our previous iteration could only film for one minute.

I mostly purchased these glasses to solve two problems for me: (1) Have a quick and easy way to take pictures/videos of my toddler whenever he's being cute. Cause a lot of the times when I struggle to get my phone out of my pocket the moment is already over. These glasses allow me to accomplish this with a quick press of a button on the side. Although I must admit that picture quality does not compare to a flagship phone. (2) Have the ability to listen to music privately wherever I am without having to remember to bring earbuds. I already carry my phone, wallet, keys. I don't like having to remember to bring earbuds with me. So when I am in the waiting room of a doctor's office, I pleasantly remember I can start listening to music just from wearing glasses. Sound quality is surprisingly adequate for being glasses and not requiring to insert anything in your ear. But my wife does tell me there is some sound leakage. Because these glasses allow me to accomplish these things, I'm happy with my purchase. And I have always liked the Wayfarer style. However, for being the Large size, I was expecting them to be a little bigger. As for the Meta AI, I really don't use. The mic allows me to communicate with the Google voice assistant on my phone, so if I needed to use any voice assistant it would be Google and not Meta. The only thing I really ask Meta is battery percentage. Speaking of battery, I'm a bit disappointed. As I mentioned above, I wanted these glasses mostly for the two things I mentioned above which are situational. There are some days where I don't come across these situations, so I don't take pictures nor listen to any music with the glasses. Yet the battery is constantly draining throughout the day. It would also be nice if there were more options to charge them other than having to buy an extra charging case.

I’ve got a lot of use out of these glasses. I do really like them. The sound is pretty good and it does exactly what I want. As far as filming goes. The only problem I have with it is the battery does die pretty fast and you also can only record for three minutes at a time.

First off, I ordered the set with clear lenses. Mine definitely have some sort of greenish hue to them. Not clear. But as for the glasses themselves, I don’t know where to begin. I know they are geared for reels and short videos, but the fact that you cannot record in landscape mode is infuriating. I wanted these to boost my vlog game in areas where it’s awkward to hold a camera/phone up and film yourself. I can’t use the footage from these glasses because it’s basically portrait mode, but a little wider. Battery life? I know they’re glasses so the battery is very limited, but forget about it! Even if you’re not recording video and snapping photos, just listening to music QUIETLY, you get around 2-3 hours tops. Recording video? You get like 15-20 minutes. Each clip stops recording at 3 minutes, not a major thing but a little annoying. They feel so cheap. I feel like I’m going to break them every time I fold/unfold them and put them on. Awesome idea, but needs a lot of tweaking.

The glasses itself is really cool, but the options are very limited. The battery dies out fairly quick , and they get boring pretty fast. Unless youre a content creator , or you want to make skits i wouldnt say the glasses are really worth it. The fact you can play music on them are pretty cool but they have a high sound leakage which kind of makes them useless. Overall, cool high technology glasses but not worth the price

They take great quality photos and videos and are comfortable and stylish. The downside is that they only record 1 min videos to the glasses with no option to record directly to your phone so you can record longer. They can also only stream to meta platforms so you can’t show your content everywhere live. The ai leaves you wanting more and the battery is not too bad.

They could be a little faster in response time with Meta. Does not work like normal Bluetooth. Will not answer text messages from your phone. I would wait and see what Apple will come out with if you have an iphone.

I give it a 3 because as of lately I’ve had problems with my glasses not charging and disconnected from my phone. Only had them for 10 months.

I purcharse this glasess to replace my earbuds at work, and what a big disappointment turn up to be. The battery last just for a couple hours on a continue use lessening music. I though battery last at least 4 hours. So if anyone its interested on buying this product let me know i have mine up for sale :p

Camera functionality is great however, the AI model on these glasses is not good. I wish the AI was better.

Glasses are too dark. Hard to see while inside. Glasses should be a lighter version.

Really cool product really like the market that is targeting loving that Im able to use the AI system I can’t wait for a firmware update to where you’re able to actually utilize the full functions of AI as far as a build quality they’re built like any other ray bans, not anything spectacular however they will break really easily. If you don’t watch how they are handled not really sure if they are waterproof or water resistant. I highly doubt it. So id be aware of that as well, especially if you sweat a lot lol

Definitely get the generation too if for nothing else the additional battery life. They also overheat in bright sunny weather, especially if you start to sweat a little bit. Hopefully they fix it with a firmware update.
