They sound great, but I’m disappointed with the software and inconsistency of these headphones. I got them on sale and enjoy them a lot when they work, however they randomly disconnect and using the software is super frustrating when it refuses to sense the headset half the time. I wouldn’t recommend them in their current state, and it’s a shame because they are so comfortable and the build quality is great.

I bought the Kraken V3 Pro's after looking at the build quality and some reviews, thinking hey these are a solid build. When I got them home, unboxed them, they are solid, metal built, and have a great feel on the head. The sound was pretty good, using the spatial option, and using the Synapse software you can set a myriad of options to tune the sound, hypersense response, and even sleep mode. The mic is rather good also, with quality of sound and response. I used the headphones for gaming, meetings, and a wide array of hi-fi music. The RGB settings can be controlled via Synapse to flow with your other Razer components, a nice touch. However, the problem comes in with the usage of the headphones and battery life. I have my sleep mode set to turn off after 15 minutes of inactivity & hyper-sense turned off, but I was not able to get anywhere near the published claim on the headphones. I was constantly charging them. The other issue was I had to constantly plug and unplug the USB dongle or turn the headphones off when switching apps such as YouTube to watching movies on the Windows app, the sound would stop working. I had the headphones fully updated, and tried resets, but it continued on this spiral. Then the plastic sides developed cracks from normal use (see photo), so I ended up returning them reluctantly. I really liked the build and quality of the headphones in several respects, the actual use was annoying in some key parts noted.

Headset are nice and for the price but only after a year, where you adjust height of the headset broke, never dropped them only used them to game and they just started to break, if you do get these buy Best Buy warranty, because dealing with Razer for them to replace them is a pain that I just gave up in dealing with them.

They sound great, but I’m disappointed with the battery life of these headphones. I enjoy them a lot when they work; however, they randomly disconnect due to battery drain after a few hours of use. I can plug them into a charger and use them, but that defeats the wireless option! It’s a shame because they are so comfortable, and the build quality is great.

Don't get me wrong there is nothing too bad about this headset I think most of my problems were on the App side of things, but this headset felt like a cheat code the Bass of each footstep could be felt, The 7 to 1 was fantastic, Rocking sound quality, but for some reason with the THX audio would bug out and Auto switch between the other choices, the Razer app was not a fan of this headset. The battery life was Ok not what I was hoping for. A few times I had to unplug and Re plugin the USB dongle for the Bluetooth so the Computer could see it again, Also so the Razer app could see it as well. I would no longer Recommend this headset due to the V4 being released at a better price, But if you are on a Tighter Budget and V3 fits that aspect better Yes it was a nice headset. I ended up giving mine to my loved one. Since mine never fully broke.

Been using this headset for over 2 weeks now, and I have to say that I'm impressed and not impressed at the same time. I'm a big bass-head and I mainly got these for the transducers that these have that simulate a heavy bass (haptics) -- and they are fantastic for that. The sound on these headphones are also great. Im sure it's because of its "triforce titanium" drivers/speakers. The highs are clear and the lows are punchy. There are two big down sides to these headphones. 1. The connection/ sound cuts off for a braid second at random times while wirelessly connected via its own receiver, which ultimately breaks the immersion. 2. It would be great to be able to use these normally while plugged-in (using a 3.5mm headphone cable), but the haptics do not work in that mode -- skullcandy was able to figure that out. The mic captures a clear voice, although I haven't used it much. With the razer synapse software you can change it's settings and be able to see it's current charge, but it didn't display it correctly. To be clear, when it's charging, it displays the current charge and doesn't register that it is charging for a few minutes, then, after a full charge and unplugging it, the software still displays that it is charging while still displaying that same amount from when it was plugged in. I don't know if it's the synapse or the headphones but communication is not good. It could be my ears, but, compared to the Dolby Atmos sound immersion, I couldn't tell the difference between having the THX off or on. All other settings work though. Overall, for being such an expensive pair of headphones, they are good but not worth the price.

Heavy, dies fast, never connects to synapse software to modify/adjust colors. Overall wouldn’t recommend this headset as a female. They are loud and have a lot of bass; no complaints with the mic…they’re just heavy and unnecessarily huge, die, and take long to charge. I also have to unplug and plug back in sometimes when my pc doesn’t identify them for some reason.

Battery life is what kills it. It a great audio device, but also comes with a heavy feeling. Maybe if they made a light weight model and possibly take off the rgb as its not needed for gaming.

I bought this on sale. On sale worth it. Brill price I would have taken it back. Sound is great. And they are a little heavy, but yet still comfortable. Just be ready for some weight. The base is odd I don’t like it but they vibrate. (can be turned off). My green kraken probably still my favorite.

Got this on a discount. It was my first wireless headset. I am personally a razer fan, but I am a bit upset with how pricey their gears are in general. Their audio quality is amazing but sometimes it disconnects if I am far away from my PC. Wouldn't suggest getting one especially since Kraken V4 is out.

Overall a decent headset. The connection can have issues initially especially using a laptop even with the dongle. On a desktop I have not ran into the same issues. Battery can go quick but other than that a great headset.

Kind of dated, good deal with discount as headphones are comfortable and have good sound but same price as wireless without the sale so doesn’t really make sense to get these ones for me at least. My son got these for Christmas initially and exchanged for full wireless v4 more convenient.

Do not buy! I currently use the wired version of this headset with my PC, and I love it! Can’t say enough great things about it. However, I purchased this headset for my fiancé, and it was incredibly disappointing. The audio sounds great from the headphones, but that’s where the good news ends. The mic sounds absolutely awful unless you use the 3.5mm jack, which kinda defeats the purpose of it being a Bluetooth headset imo. Once you plug in the 3.5mm jack, the quality of the mic is actually good but the audio from the headphones bleeds to the point where everyone else in chat can hear everything twice. Problems persist with hyper sense on or off Maybe it’s defective, maybe it’s a ps5 thing, idk. Other reviews have said the same problems with all platforms so maybe this product is just a dud. TL;DR Razer is good, but not these, just trust me

The bass and sound is amazing for shooters and watching movies, however the microphone is terrible. Good luck getting your friends to hear you on discord or in game chat. It just wasn’t good. Words become choppy to friends when talking.

[Employee of bestbuy] The comfortability after a couple of minutes started to hurt my husbands head. As gamers we play for a few hours so comfortability is a must! Sound quality wasn't all there either. They have decent bass but microphone quality is better on the Black Shark V2.

I’ve been using these for my competitive gaming. In the beginning it was doing fine. But once it started dying out of no where I was concerned. They’re only charging when the headset is on, I experimented by leaving them to charge over night. When I woke up, the headset was still on 5%. I thought maybe something was wrong with its charger, so I changed to my other USBC… and it still wasn’t changing until I plugged it into my PC while on. When it’s plugged into my PC, it then start having a loud pitch sound. I unplugged it from my PC and tried my portable charger and it still had a loud pitch sound. So now I’m returning to get the Barracuda because I wasting money.

This is one of my first attempts at a wireless gaming headset as I needed something with more mobility. Unfortunately the device has required me to do more troubleshooting than any other Razer headset I've ever had. It frequently disconnects, even when it has full battery. These disconnects happen at random, sometimes during gameplay. Attempts have been made with all troubleshooting guides I've seen online but none have solved this problem. Another problem is every so often when you turn on your computer the device connects but has no sound at all. This requires several forms of trouble shooting to sometimes get the device to work properly again,
