OMG!! My beautiful Kitchen Aid refrigerator dead after only six years. A total loss. The technician told me I could apply the $103.00 service call to a new item so when I bought a new refrigerator I mentioned this to the sales person and he didn’t know anything about that. I left before I checked if he was able to apply it and it was not done. I’m going to have to return for this credit on my account.

The technician was quick to diagnose the problem and said it would be more cost effective to just replace the 7 year old refrigerator than repair it.

I have always been satisfied with my orders. Delivery always on time, service is impeccable. Exchanges are easy to get. Never had a problem.

If it were possible to give a no star rating this would certainly qualify for a Service appoinment. My Refridgerator stopped cooling effectively 3 weeks ago - Oct 15th, I contacted best buy since i have a service plan and paid for a diagnostic visit. I confirmed the service address, telephone number for all communications related to the visit etc. The arrival window was 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. so had to take time off from work. The day before the arrival window was narrowed to 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. then later from 10 - 12:15 I waited patiently only to received a text at 12:20 that my appointment was cancelled. Called immediately and was told the tech went to the address and was told that no service was ordered, impossible as no one came to my home. I later found out that they called the wrong number, got someone who had no idea about an appointment and rather than calling the number that is associated with the best buy account, they canceled. Of course when i called blah, blah blah, I was put to the back of the que, had to waint another week for a new appointment. Had them put notes for the tech as to which numnber to call, Confirmed a few days before the appoinment which was now 11/6, called the day before, confirmed, and now the day off the appointment I get a text saying my appointment has been cancelled for an unexpected reason and I need to call them to reschedule for a third time. How can i ever trust and rely on BBuy ever again. Two cancelled appoinments, broken refridgerator, no pro-active effort on their part to make the situation write or to offer a true solution for their mistakes. After 20 years as a loyal customer, have no choice than to start a relationship with an alternative provider. As a Service Professional myself, there are no words or circumstances that can justify the failed levels of customer service or experience being provided by Best Buy.
