1st one had a "dead zone" (about 2" area in middle of tablet would not respond no matter how many times I rebooted... made sure software was up to date and tried different marker styles). Exchanged it with no issues, thank you Best Buy. 2nd one *mostly* works (which I do enjoy using) but is unresponsive at times. The 2nd bundle had a defective folio with a thread sticking out. Tried to ignore it, but unfortunately, it started to irritate me and I contacted reMarkable support. How remarkably horrible- 1st they stated they don't cover faults, then changed it to they don't cover wear and tear. What a joke on a $139 Mosaic Weave Basalt cover! If you're going to offer a "premium" product" at a premium, make sure your support and warranty is there. Display is good but freezes at times and suffers from ghosting (this is allegedly normal). This almost feels like a prototype. I do use it often, but take very good care of my electronics. I have read about similar experiences with support, and unless this is something you feel you really need instead of a "real" tablet, STAY AWAY.

5 days after purchase the screen died. Just bad luck, I’m sure, but I returned it and went back to the iPad which syncs easier with Office suite.

Hi there! We understand how concerning it is for the screen to fail so soon, and I appreciate you giving reMarkable a try. It makes total sense to stick with the tools that best sync with your Office suite, but we'd love to see you back if you ever need a distraction-free space again.

Do not buy this. We purchase a month ago and we are having excessive ghosting as per the tech support at Remarkable. I can't find my receipt as it was a gift and they will not replace it. Apparently ghosting is very common and their customer service is awful. Waste of $$.

The synchronization is extremely slow. It takes more than a day to see the sync changes across various tablets and their respective apps. While the writing experience is satisfactory, I am encountering dead pixels on my tablet.

Customer service from Remarkable Pro is terrible. Like the tablet, it writes well. The issue is the desktop app. I have been on Remarkable chat support three times because their download does not work. I was finally told there was nothing they could do. $700 tablet and there is nothing they can do. Seriously!?
