I absolutely love the reMarkable Paper Pro! This device has completely transformed how I organize my work and personal life. It has replaced all my paper notebooks and even my iPad for note-taking. The writing experience is second to none—it genuinely feels like writing on paper but with the added benefit of endless pages and effortless organization. The Marker Plus is incredibly responsive, and the eraser functionality makes it so intuitive to use. The included Book Folio in Mosaic Weave not only looks sleek but also provides great protection while maintaining a professional appearance. The lightweight design makes it easy to carry between meetings or keep handy at home for personal notes or brainstorming. If you’re looking for a way to simplify and declutter your life while boosting productivity, this is it. Highly recommended for anyone who values a seamless blend of technology and the traditional feel of paper. 5 stars all the way!

I came from the Remarkable 2. And i was little concerned about the price and the size. The size is on the bigger side and the the price is on the expensive side. If you like the remarkable 2 you will love the pro. Is a great device and the fabric cover is high quality as the leather one. It is more capable than the Remarkable 2, more storage, faster response. The screen flickering is a thing but is what you get with e ink display

I was so hyped about the reMarkable Paper Pro that I bought two. We love them and I even use mine at work. Got my cases from Anazon. Yes tgey came with extra pen tips.

I was skeptical at first and held off but have to admit the color RMPP is very nice. I upgraded from the RM2 and it's worth it. It's the size of an actual piece of paper, writes nicely and the highlighter is definitely a nice touch. I like the fact that the folio has a magnetic closure that keeps the pen from getting detached accidentally. Even though it magnetically attaches, it can slip off when you put it in a bag or walk around with it. All around a good purchase. One slight drawback is the surface is a bit scratchy; not quite as smooth as the RM2. That and there is a slight delay when you write but it doesn't take that long to get used to. After using the device for a little bit, you get the hang of it and after about 15 min of using it, you're a pro.

I absolutely love my ReMarkable Pro! While it’s on the pricier side, it’s a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about note-taking and staying focused. The writing experience is smooth, natural, and incredibly satisfying, feeling just like pen on paper. The sleek and minimalist design makes it a joy to carry around, and it seamlessly integrates into my workflow without adding bulk. One of my favorite features is the long battery life—lasting up to two weeks on a single charge. I can take it on trips or use it daily without worrying about frequent recharging. Plus, the distraction-free setup is a blessing. No notifications, no apps—just a simple, effective tool for organizing thoughts and ideas. If you're looking for a premium digital notebook with long-lasting battery and a sleek design, the ReMarkable Pro delivers exactly that

I had been searching for something like the Remarkable PaperPro for years, and when I finally found it, I was thrilled. The moment I opened it, I was hooked. The writing experience is awesome—my serial killer-esque handwriting looks just like it does on regular paper when I use the RMP. It has that nice paper feel, even though it’s not actually paper. Plus, the backlight is not super bright, but it is more than bright enough for me. I have not tried the feature to convert handwriting to text, but if I can hardly read my own handwriting why would I think this would be able to convert it to anything remotely legible. I mostly bought it to take notes for school. I've only added a couple of books so far, but it seems to work great, even though I don’t plan on reading much on it. The battery lasts for days, whether I’m using it or just letting it sit. I haven't had any weird software or technical issues at all. There are tons of templates you can add, which is cool. Just a heads-up, though: this isn’t a regular tablet; it’s an e-ink device. It has its limitations, but those are exactly what I was looking for, but it may ot be for everyone.

Okay, let's craft a review focusing on the performance aspects of the reMarkable tablet. It's important to note that as of my last update (and checking current information for May 2, 2025), there isn't an official model named "reMarkable Pro." The current flagship is the reMarkable 2. Assuming "Pro" refers to its professional-grade capabilities or perhaps the reMarkable 2 itself, here's a review centered on its excellent performance: Review: reMarkable 2 - A Masterclass in Focused Performance When evaluating the reMarkable 2, the term "performance" takes on a specific, refined meaning. Unlike traditional tablets judged on raw processing power for gaming or multitasking, the reMarkable 2's performance shines brilliantly within its dedicated niche: providing a superior digital paper experience. In this context, its performance isn't just good; it's exceptionally well-tuned and remarkably effective. The Pinnacle: Writing and Drawing Latency The absolute standout feature defining the reMarkable 2's excellent performance is its writing latency. Putting the stylus (Marker or Marker Plus) to the CANVAS 2 display feels almost uncannily like writing on real paper. The ink appears virtually instantaneously, with a claimed latency of just 21ms. This isn't just a number; it translates into a fluid, natural, and responsive writing experience that is arguably best-in-class for e-ink devices. There's no perceptible lag between stroke and digital ink, allowing thoughts to flow directly onto the page without technological friction. This immediate feedback is crucial for note-taking, sketching, and annotation, making the device feel incredibly performant for its core tasks. UI Responsiveness and Navigation While e-ink technology inherently has slower refresh rates than LCD or OLED screens, the reMarkable 2's interface feels surprisingly snappy and efficient for its category. Powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core ARM processor and 1GB of LPDDR3 SDRAM, navigating menus, opening notebooks, turning pages in documents, and organizing files is generally smooth. While you won't get the instantaneous screen redraws of an iPad, the operations are quick enough that the device never feels sluggish or obstructive. It boots up reasonably fast and responds reliably to taps and gestures, keeping you focused on your work, not waiting for the device. Handling Documents and Notes The reMarkable 2 performs admirably when handling large PDF documents and extensive notebooks. Zooming and panning within PDFs are functional, and page turns are relatively swift for an e-ink display. Annotating documents feels just as responsive as writing in a blank notebook. Even with complex notes incorporating different layers, tools, and extensive writing, the device maintains its composure, rarely exhibiting lag during standard use. Connectivity and Syncing Performance extends to its connectivity. The Wi-Fi integration allows for seamless synchronization of notes and documents across the reMarkable cloud service and companion apps (desktop and mobile). While sync speed depends on network conditions and file size, the process is generally reliable and works efficiently in the background, ensuring your work is backed up and accessible elsewhere without demanding constant user attention. Battery Life: The Unsung Performance Hero Often overlooked in performance discussions, the reMarkable 2's battery life is stellar, lasting up to two weeks on a single charge with typical use. This endurance is a performance feature in itself. It means the device is almost always ready when you need it, without the constant battery anxiety associated with more power-hungry tablets. This reliability significantly contributes to a seamless and high-performing user experience. Conclusion The reMarkable 2 delivers excellent performance precisely where it counts for a dedicated digital paper tablet. Its ultra-low latency writing experience is industry-leading, providing an unparalleled natural feel. Complemented by a responsive (for e-ink) interface, capable document handling, reliable syncing, and outstanding battery life, the device performs its core functions with remarkable efficiency and grace. It may not be a multimedia powerhouse, but for focused writing, reading, sketching, and annotation, the reMarkable 2's performance is finely honed and truly exceptional within its category. It does exactly what it promises, and it does it incredibly well.

I was excited to purchase the ReMarkable Paper Pro tablet. But after getting it, I was really disappointed. I wanted to like it, because I am a huge note taker. But quickly saw that the functionality/quality of the tablet does NOT equal the $700 price. This may sound strange, but the tablet is too simplified/basic in my opinion. For that price, the quality of the screen should be far better. The fact that you have to pay a yearly subscription (on top of the $700 you have to pay for the tablet) to make use of all of the functions. But the thing that made me decide to return the tablet for a refund was when I lost the file I was working on. It quite literally just disappeared. When I researched online where it may have gone and how to retrieve it… I learned that sometimes “it just happens“ and if you haven’t saved the file before it disappears, you’re just out of luck.

Finally found a product that makes me more productive and organized. I always struggled to find the right balance of Enotes and carry around notebooks. This is the perfect option. Writing is seamless and feels natural. You don't even realize you are not using a real pen and paper. I also like the option to easily switch between pens / highlighter when taking notes during the meeting. As an added bonus, the templates are incredibly useful depending on your needs.

Hi Joe! We're thrilled the reMarkable has helped you find that perfect balance for productivity and organization. It's fantastic that you're enjoying the natural writing feel and the ease of switching tools during meetings. We're also glad you're finding the templates useful as well! Thanks so much for sharing your positive experience.

While I certainly appreciate and still love writing on paper, as a professional who takes lots of notes I love having them stored in one location. The writing experience is fantastic, the colors are great, the screen is large and battery life is great. The backlight is a game changer when compared to the Remarkable 2. Extremely satisfied. It's expensive but well worth the price.

I love the Remarkable Pro. I am still figuring out all of the features and how to integrate them into my workflow. Generally, I remember items better when I write them down vs. typing. This Remarkable tablet has allowed me to continue to write down notes and actions, without having to worry about which notebook those items are written in. Now all of my notes are in my hand at all times, plus accessible in the cloud! This is an expensive item and not a good fit for everyone. I recommend that you try one out before you dive in at this high cost. Make sure that it is for you.

This is an excellent product, the quality of build and performance is exceptional. Battery life is well over 10 days of continuous use. It is not a connected device for browsing. I expected the colour options in the pro to be a bit better. That said, the product is somewhat overpriced for what it does and will be challenged by more affordable alternatives.

As someone who values the tactile feel of writing on paper, this tablet completely exceeded my expectations. The 11.8" display offers a generous writing surface, and the Marker Plus feels incredibly natural, almost like a pen gliding across paper. The precision and responsiveness are top-notch, which makes sketching, note-taking, and annotating documents a breeze. The Paper Pro’s minimalist design is sleek and modern, and the Mosaic Weave Book Folio in Basalt adds a touch of elegance that enhances the overall experience. It provides a secure, professional look while also protecting the device, making it perfect for on-the-go professionals or students. What truly sets this device apart is its ability to replicate the experience of real paper, with zero distractions from apps or notifications. The writing experience is smooth and enjoyable, whether I’m brainstorming ideas, taking notes during meetings, or reviewing documents. The ability to sync and organize everything digitally is a game-changer too, making it easy to access my notes from anywhere. If you’re looking for a premium, distraction-free tablet that feels like real paper, the reMarkable Paper Pro is absolutely worth it. It’s an investment that has transformed the way I work and create. Highly recommend!

I am a software architect, who designs lots of algorithms, flows and interfaces between modules. I used notebooks a lot for this. Then, I started to use reMarkable 2. Unlike notebooks, I can re-arrange any diagram/ideas/flows within reMarkable 2 to update/revise them. Quite satisfied with reMarkable 2, but I found its writing space a little bit small and difficult to annotate complex notes. Then, this reMarkable Paper pro comes with what I actually needed. Bigger screen gives me more room to write and color helps me to differentiate each annotation. Traded in my old reMarkable 2 and upgraded to this one. Really enjoying it now.

This is the second reMarkable that I've owned and highly recommend. The pencil upgrade, storage, weight, and slim version of this reMarkable is on point. Fits snuggly in my backpack for jobs.
