I really enjoyed this game. With that said I beat in under 7 hours and that’s with making sure I picked up every single item on the map. If I didn’t worry about picking up items I would of easily beat it within 4 hours. It has an online mode and I played a few games for a couple hours. My opinion is it’s okay but it wasn’t all that fun. If you’re playing survivor and you don’t have good teammates then you won’t enjoy it much because you’ll get wrecked. You’ll have to stick to mastermind. After beating the campaign you can keep beating it over again on higher difficulties to unlock new weapons and items, but there is no alternate story like resident evil 2. All in all my honest answer is it’s not worth the $60 unless you’re head over heels for the online mode. You’ll easily max out all the campaign achievements within a week if you feel like doing it. But me personally after beating the campaign once I wasn’t interested in doing it again as there’s no additional story. If you’ve never played resident evil I would highly recommend the 2nd game instead. You get so much more replay value and there’s sales where the game is only $30. This game would be more worth it if it was in the $30 range but it’s just not worth $60 for something with such little replay value.

There is alot to do in this game, which is awesome but overwhelming at first. Game has amazing graphics and runs great. Would definitely consider this to people looking for a achievement packed game that is hard as hell!
I purchased this game through Best Buy and I will definitely be preordering games through Best Buy in the future. Best Buy was kind enough to include the steel book for free with no additional cost. I haven’t completed the game yet but so far it is awesome! I recommend this game to any one who is a fan of Resident Evil. I also recommend last years Resident Evil 2 remake as that is an awesome game as well. I’m not going to give any in game detail because I’m not going to spoil it for any one who wants to play. You definitely won’t regret purchasing and playing this game. (Tip, Always be prepared to fight the Nemesis)

Capcom did it again with this remake! If you enjoyed resident evil 2 remake then this game will deliver the same action, Only down side is that the story is short and vital settings from the original resident evil 3 like the clock tower or gravedigger boss fight were removed. As for service im 100% satisfied with best buy! The game, steelbook and code arrived on time.

You go through a few areas you already did in the last remake. Good graphics and gameplay though.

Love this game, yes it’s short but so was the older one. I’m still having so much fun with it after beating it in hardcore mode. Now i am unlocking the infinite weapons and now im ready to play in nightmare mode. It has plenty of scares and a lot of zombie killing to be expected. Love love love this game. Can’t wait for RE4 re-make

Loved RE2, so this was a no brainer. I got the preorder bonus of classic skins and plus the steelbook. Game is amazing and runs perfectly on XB1X. Must buy for any horror survival fan or RE Fan.

Criminally short game that is inferior to RE2 in every way, and should have just been DLC for that title. Nemesis has no patrol mechanics like Mr. X; instead he is all scripted events. A major step backwards that severely diminishes replay value. Limb dismemberment of zombies has been disabled and there is significantly less gore than RE2 for whatever reason. The game took me 1 hour 17 minutes to beat in the hardest difficulty without saving / healing / dying— so if you want to call this a game rather than $60 DLC, that’s your prerogative.

Great reimagining of a classic action horror game. Redesigned characters and levels makes revisiting Raccoon City a treat for new comers and veterans of the franchise!

This remake is very well done. However, there was some content from the original that was cut, but i am not really sure why. Hopefully they will add it back at some point but i doubt it. Price is a little high for the amount of content, but if you are an RE fan then you should get this. Graphics are great and dialogue is good. Gameplay is tight also. I would recommend as long as you understand you are only getting about five hours of play time. There is multiplayer but it isnt all that good at the moment.

Honestly a pretty decent game. I enjoyed the menus and the gameplay was really good. The few flaws with the game revolve around the story but even then a very enjoyable game. I also picked it up on sale for like $5 so overall cannot complain. Would recommend to any Resident Evil fans and those enjoy video games in general.

Fun game, overshadowed by the RE2 and RE4 remakes. I’ve liked RE3 since it’s initial release but this remake didn’t get the same reception that the previously mentioned one did. Still very fun.

This game was really fun to play, a lot of things to do, it was challenging at first but within time it got easier. Definitely one of the RE to play again.

Picked up RE3 at a decent price. Don't listen to the haters out there. I get that there is some cut content, but this RE3 is amazing. If you like the RE2 remake (and who doesn't?), you will enjoy this one. This version of Jill is very endearing and she takes no nonsense!

I’ve got to say first and foremost, this was one of the HARDEST games I have ever played in my life! It was very challenging in my opinion with the nemesis stalking you & trying to destroy you in every corner but It was awesome to experience. As someone who grew up playing the Resident Evil franchise, I absolutely love this addition to the remakes going forth. the RE2 remake is better than this one for the matter of it being longer as this game is shorter but it’s still really really good regardless. I like the new online mode the resistance, however I expected it to be way better. It’d be a lot more fun if it was 4 people going up against a mega boss or something like that instead of a mastermind that someone’s controlling in order to stop the survivors. I wish there were bonus mission as well just like there was in 2 and more customizable features but I love this game. I also liked that they added the shop where you can buy infinite weapons, tools, better defense combat, and a new thing called recovery coins that boost your attack, defense, and health which pretty much makes you invulnerable if you equip them all after you beat the story the first time, and many more things in the shop.

Short story mode compared to the previous game but still fun.

Pros: -story line- good prequel & sequel to RE2 -graphics -new multiplayer mode Cons: -Over it after beating once, and it only took 4 hours -multiplayer is not that great to make up for the short story Unless you're a die hard RE fan, I'd wait until it's on sale. I was excited for this follow up to RE2 which I had bought 2 weeks ago for $25.00 on MSFT store. RE2 was easily a 5 star game. RE2 was terrifying (at first), challenging, and 2 story lines you absolutely want to play through, and other modes to keep it fresh for 20 hours of play AT LEAST. Of course I was excited for this one too, which by most standards is a good game. It's significantly shorter and not as captivating of a game.

I like the pacing of this game, along with the action and graphics. However the game is very short and does not warrant a price of $60. If you are a fan of the series, then it's worth picking it up for a discounted price sometime in the future
