The latest installment in the RE franchise is one of the absolute best. It strays from the last one, but it is still fantastic. Performance is great on the Xbox consoles. Story is phenomenal. You won't be disappointed.

I been waiting to play this game for a long time! It does not disappoint! Visuals are amazing! Audio is haunting! Gameplay is phenomenal! The atmosphere and characters are pure genius! I love this game!

100% worth it, an amazing game and great preorder bonus with Best Buy. The survival pack gives you a nice little advantage in the story along with a steel book case.

If you are a fan of Resident Evil VII then you will enjoy this one as well. 3rd person mode is also now available if you prefer original RE experience.

The actual Game is fine but case came broken in two pieces.

Loved the atmosphere but definitely not as scary as RE7. Once again the voice acting and dialogue of Ethan is abysmal and that also goes for Heisenberg. By the way why on earth would you name a character Heisenberg after Breaking Bad used the same name? I feel like the game was just a tad bit too long and slowly got more and more ridiculous near the end. The Heisenberg fight was hilariously over the top. Every boss fight goes like this, run away turn super slowly (I even played at 9 sensitivity and no aim acceleration and it was still too slow) shoot and avoid attack and then repeat. You can’t really strafe all the fast so since it’s a first person game you don’t really get to enjoy the enemies animations because your so busy with your back to them. All in all it was a decent time for 20 dollars and hey I got a mediocre looking steelbook that I’ll never use to go along with it!

If you liked Resident Evil VII, you'll love Village. It's everything that made VII great, but with improved combat mechanics and more enemy variety. The boss fights are fantastic. The graphics are beautiful. I love the gothic atmosphere of the titular village as well. The story is also very intriguing with a nice mystery element that'll keep you playing until the endgame reveal. If you're looking for scares, though, Village won't meet that demand very often. However, there is one segment of the game that strips you of all your items, including weapons, that feels like something right out of an early Silent Hill game. It's terrifying and disturbing in all the best ways.

Great game with superior graphics, interesting characters and good story. It is easier than previous entries on the series but that's ok - not everyone is a diehard tryhard hardcore gamer. It's a videogame. And it is entertaining, for me and my kids at least! The only thing that prevented me from giving it 5 stars is that it seems a bit on the short side.

RE Village has so much replay value after the game is complete. It completes and adds story to the resident evil timeline. Filled with action, horror and suspense

Terrific addition to the RE series. Excellent story, great gameplay, fun atmosphere.

I can’t reiterate enough that I would prefer a third-person perspective, but also can’t reiterate enough that I have no qualms with how Capcom has handled the first-person perspective. The gameplay is diverse in both what you do and what you experience, and the game is presented beautifully in all its presentational aspects including a simple but well-delivered story that connects to the Resident Evil virus outbreak story we all know and love. Thus, the game has minor dings and dents, namely it being too short for its own good, but this is definitely a step forward for the series and shouldn’t be missed by both action and horror fans alike.

I am a huge fan of the Resident Evil series. I bought this game during the Black Friday sale. So I got this for 20 bucks with Steelbook. That's a steal! It is really worth the money. I finished the game and started playing a new game plus. I am also looking forward to Resident Evil Re: Verse [which includes in this game]

I only started enjoying Resident Evil games with RE7, but wow Resident Evil: Village is a lot of fun. Be prepared for lots of searching and backtracking, but you're rewarded with great graphics and sound, a fun story, solid shooting action, and light puzzle solving. Lots of ick and gross, but if this still sounds like fun, grab it!

This game absolutely blew me away. I was immediately locked in to the story, and it kept me engaged and invested until the very end. The story is gameplay is amazing, the story is phoenominal, could not ask for a better Resident Evil. Highly recommend this game to any horror/thriller fan.
