Do these headphones play your own audio back through the headset? I’m looking for a new pair that does that, I like being able to hear myself so I’m not too loud.
Hello TFT1991, Yes, the RIG 800 PRO HX will play your microphone audio back through the headset. This feature is called mic monitoring or sidetone. It is included in all current RIG wireless headsets. For the 800 PRO HX, there is a separate button specifically for this feature located on the left earcup between the charging port and volume dial. There are three levels of mic monitoring - low, high, and off. Thank you for considering RIG Gaming products from Nacon...
Is this headset compatible with Windows 11?
Hello Simon, While not mentioned on this listing yet, the RIG 800 PRO HX with Dolby Atmos 3D Surround Sound is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs for audio. Both of these PC formats also support the Dolby Access app, which you can download for free, to enable the Dolby Atmos for Headphones surround sound when you plug in the RIG 800 PRO HX USB wireless adapter (via multi-function base or directly) into your Windows PC. Please note, the 2.4 GHz RF wireless adapter included with the RIG 800 PRO HX has a switch to toggle between XBox play and PC use. Set it to PC when using it with your Windows 11 device. When activating Dolby Atmos for a single device, do they mean the headset itself or do I have to choose between my PC or my Xbox Series X?
Hi SoundHound, Actually inclusion of that text is an error on this listing. The new RIG 800 PRO HX activates Dolby Atmos access via a decoding chip within the included wireless adapter. So you case use Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound on your Xbox Series X, your Windows 10/11 enabled PC, or any other compatible device. That device just needs to have the free Dolby Access app for access to this feature. The version of Dolby Atmos, where it's limited to a single device, is the code-based version like the 2-Year code included with the RIG 800 Pro HX predecessor - the RIG 800LX.
