    Simple and Does the Job

    I like that this is a small device and doesn’t scream “I have a camera doorbell!!!” Multiple neighbors had used other brands but went to Ring due to reliability of the others. They have been happy with Ring. While certain features aren’t available this works well and was easy to install. For some reason the jumper cord didn’t work on my box, so I didn’t install it. The power works, which was the point there. My one next door neighbor is very close, so I can’t turn off their area without affecting mine. Because of their constant movement, I ignore notifications at my front door. But it’s good to have if I know to watch for something. This doesn’t use the doorbell box for ringing (pro is needed for that) but that’s ok because it always made me jump and my dog bark. It does announce on my Alexa and that’s fine enough.

    Just what we needed!

    I love my new Ring Doorbell. Installation was super easy and set up was a breeze. Picture is super clear and sound quality is excellent! I'm definitely considering buying the whole home system.

    Helps with deliveries!!! ⚠️

    This ring door bell is compact, goes with most house colors and works as advertised. Ring community is also a plus. Ring support is great, video and picture quality is great as well. Installation isn't hard but for those who aren't tech/electrical savy. Call a perfessional.

    Great reasons to purchase rind doorbells & cameras

    Works great! Is worth having & excellent way to keep watch on your home whether you’re there or away. Being able to speak to someone- helps deter people from stealing because they don’t know if you’re there in your home or away & less likely to risk stealing.

    Very pleased with quality

    I had to do my own research to figure out how to connect to my old-style doorbell chime. Once that was figured out, the doorbell easily connected and works great. Good camera, day and night, and the microphone and speaker work well. I'm still pondering whether the free recording level is enough, or I should pay for the basic pay-level service. The advantage of my old-style doorbell chime is that it still works with my old push-button front doorbell even while the new Ring Wi-Fi is powered at my "back" door.

  • CAN I MAKE IT SO THAT IT RING WITH MY EXSISTING DOOR BELL ?

    Hello DAVE, Great question! The Ring Doorbell Wired uses an included jumper cable to bypass your home’s internal chime kit, so it will not ring inside. If you’d like audio notifications inside your home, you’ll need to purchase a Ring Chime to hear them. All of Ring’s other battery and hardwired doorbell models (Ring Doorbell Pro, Ring Doorbell Pro 2, Ring Doorbell (2020 Release), Ring Doorbell 3/3+, and Ring Doorbell 4) will work with in home chime kits and AC current doorbell transformers.   • if i live in a condominiums not a house can i hook ring up to a regular door with a regular door bell

It is compatible with most existing doorbell systems, a Ring plug-in adapter, or a transformer (10-24 VAC, 40VA max, 50/60Hz, or 24VDC, 0.5A, 12W).
