I was a little skeptical that this product would work well after having tried a couple of similar products that transmitted by 2.4 ghz radio signal. Those seem to have very limited range and can get interference from other electronic equipment using the same frequency (routers and wireless phones). The Whole Home Extender uses HDMI and your electrical wiring to transmit a HD signal to the receiver that can be anywhere in your house. I am using it it the master bathroom and it's connected to the satellite receiver in the master bedroom. The signal and picture on the TV in the bathroom is flawless! There is just a slight delay in the signal coding/decoding on the receiver, but that's only on issue when both TVs are on and you can hear both at the same time (sounds like a echo). Remote control functions work great too!

Purchased to replace older over the air unit which was subject to interference. Working as required, no interference, great signal, easy to connect and set up. In service a couple of moths. So far, so good.

The product is decent. It fits my need but note the range is not that far. We have a L shaped ranch and me extender is in middle of my house and the receiver is on one side. It get a decent signal but HD quality is HD. Saves me the monthly expense of another converter box from the providers.

This device amazes me. It shouldn't work at all and yet it does. It is not perfect - it hates being hooked up to a AV receiver (so bye bye 5.1 sound), the transferred picture sometime has artifacts, and frankly I have to reset both boxes every time I occasionally use it. So why the four stars? Because despite these limitations it can broadcast the ballgame to a part of your house where cable boxes won't go. I wouldn't even think of relying on it to replace a cable box for my wife (too finicky), but it is worth every dollar to watch some football on a TV every once in awhile that otherwise can't.

My wife and I wanted a second TV in the bedroom, but were never going to watch both TVs at the same time. I couldn't justify paying for a second satellite box or the monthly fee associated with it, so I went to Best Buy looking for an alternate solution. I was originally going to purchase an HDMI splitter and run a wire to the second TV, but after running the electrical wire for the new TV through my attic, I was determined never to run another wire again. The Best Buy associate directed me to this device which acts as both a splitter and wireless transmitter. Even better, it runs the signal through your power lines which reduces wireless interference in your house. The device also allows the remote to work over the wireless transmitter which is awesome. Needless to say, I hooked this up in a matter of minutes and it works great. Just make sure the two TVs sharing the device aren't near each other and being used at the same time, as there's about a second delay between the two screens.

Need to "hide" equipment in a cabinet. This was easy to set up and there is absolutely no lose in picture quality.

Works just fine for HD video. It's much easier than running long wires.

I'm not using this to transmit games or movies but am using it on a networked security system. I'm able to feed video from the NVR to a monitor in another part of our home with good results. Occasionally there's a bit of buffering/lag but for our purposes this isn't so bad a a great solution vs. running additional cabling.

Product works good and allows us to watch TV on our patio without running cable. Setup was simple and picture is good. Slight delay on signal but barely noticeable. Great solution.

Very easy set up and really works great. The downside are the stickers to attach remote sensors does no stick had to get small command strip hook to attach sensors.

Just make sure that the TV and receiver are on the same circuit to prevent degradation of signal. Any outlets in the same room should work fine. I was unable to plug into a surge protector. Once I plugged both ends directly into a wall outlet everything worked perfectly. Works much better than the wifi set I had tried first. I have had no issues or dropped signals in 2 months of use.

I was disappointed in the range of this product. Even though the Transmitter and Receiver were less than 30 feet from each other and on the same AC circuit, I failed to get a full strength signal. I'll probably return the product. I expect more for what I paid.

I recently was given a 19" flat screen TV that was perfect to catch the news prior to leaving for work. However, the perfect location didn't have access to a cable jack...and the TV was in the middle of the house where using an antenna didn't work. This HD extender was the perfect idea and works great. It is only an extender, so what channel is showing on the cable box is what will be showing on both TVs, but that was OK for my situation.

We have used this to watch sporting events on our back deck a few times. Setup was easy and the picture quality was great. We have DirecTV. It's nice to be able to use our remote to pause, rewind etc. on the remote TV. The picture does stutter occasionally on us but it's only once or twice a game for a fraction of a second. This is easily offset by the ability to move the TV to any location that has an electrical outlet.

Had it a few months so far and we really like it. Everyone once in awhile we have to turn off and back on. But no big deal.

This product was perfect. I wanted to bring my Dish signal into my office without adding another receiver, so that I could watch programs while working on my computer. I not only can get the HDMI signal to the office TV but I can control the Dish channels with the Dish remote from my office.

I have multiple sub panels in my house and this still managed to work well even with my complicated electrical system. But I have to restart it often when I first boot up the tv 's. once you have a picture up it works great but sometimes you have to play around to get it initially started an it can be frustrating. There is also a small delay in picture an sound so don't have it anywhere near the tv your transmiting from or the sound delay will annoy the heck out of you... I only use it for game days so I don't mind playing around to get it running right but if I were to use this daily it would way to frustrating to use but part of that could have to do with my odd electrical set up

Bought this product by chance and was not disappointed. Saved me the trouble of having to run wires. No lag time and picture and sound quality are great. If the need arises, would definitely buy another.

This product uses the house electrical system so no RF issues. Overall this product was easy to setup. The cable box remote signaling had a slower then desired response, but picture quality as excellent.
