Connect a cable box, DVR or other video source to another TV in a different room with this Rocketfish™ Whole Home RF-HPL302 HD extender that is compatible with most HDMI-enabled devices and supports up to 1080p resolution for high-definition images.
Q: Is The Source Viewable On Both TVs At The Same Time?
A: We are able to watch both TVs at the same time, however they both have the same picture. What is on inside, plays on the one outside. Hope that helps!
Q: How does infrared remote signal go through walls?
A: The remote room Receiver actually converts and sends the code back through the same electrical lines that the audio/video is sent to the Receiver on.
Q: HDMI TV w/o Cables: Wireless v. Power Line?
A: I can't speak for technical details on loss but I've tested a ton of wireless solutions and they are buggier than this method. Picture quality was great and the biggest advantage of power line is there is no issue with distance and need for line of site in comparison to wireless. For the price you won't find anything that can handle something in a home even when it's under 2,000 sq ft to send a signal to another floor or across a house without line of site. Wireless just doesn't work well more than 30 feet away when there are walls involved.
Q: Can I use two or more of these devices in the same house for multiple TVs?
A: You can use up to 3 pairs of this unit within one house.
Q: Is it normal for a treadmill to interfere with the signal?
A: Try putting the extender system on a different circuit than currently attached into. The treadmill is causing the issue. If that doesn't resolve the issues try a wireless extender.
Q: Does this kit works in both 110VAC and 220VAC electrical networks?
A: As far as I can tell, this only operates on 110 VAC. The one in our lab is rated for 120 VAC.
Q: Does this device transmit the audio from the transmitter?
A: The audio should transmit with the video, if not you may want to make sure your source device is sending Stereo sound. it may be set to Dolby or Surround that the second tv can't process.
Q: Are The Transmitter And Receiver Able To Be Mounted On The Wall???
A: Yes, they do have wall mounts made into the case.
