I have bought several of the Roku Express over the months to escape the charges of the cable company for their cable box. You will still need the initial hook-up to cable, but you do not need their box. I am delighted in all the FREE movies and shows that are now at my finger tips. There are many features to this little gem that gain favor with the viewer.

Updated Roku works wonderfully. Was content with Remote on TV but it got was lost. I am pleased however that it got upgraded.

Everything I expected. I have an older TV where Netflix no longer worked. Got the Roku and voila have Netflix and lots of other good stuff like Lassie, best of Johnny Carson, All in the Family etc etc etc

Dope investment in which I several for all our tvs (we have five). I even bought them for family members for Xmas during Black Friday instead of gift cards. We even take one with us on road trips. Matter of fact I may just purchase another one since I’m on this Best Buy App haha

The User Interface is easy to navigate and setting it up was quick. I searched for a couple apps that I wanted, installed them and I was watching TV within 10 minutes

I would recommend this equipment to anyone. It is easy to install. I have three Roku equipment and remotes. The simplest person could hook this equipment up with no problems or issues.

I bought this because vizio SmartCast doesn’t have very many useful apps. For what I’m using it for it is fine. I wanted to have ESPN app, mlb.tv, nhl.tv, Nbc sports, and fox sports apps with out having to buy another Apple TV. (I use Apple TV in the mancave) I watched a free movie on it today and was a little disappointed with the buffering in the middle of scenes. Also these free movies had 4 ads built in at certain points during the movie interrupting tense scenes. The live sports however, streamed perfectly without issue. It is very easy to set up and start using. I have it powered with the usb cable, plugged into my sound bar usb input, and easily mounted it with the supplied double sided tape on top of the sound bar.

To ensure that you have the best possible WiFi reception for your player, be sure that your router is within range of the device and avoid obstructions like cabinets and walls when possible.
As a tip, you can check the strength of your internet connection by going to Settings > Network > Check connection. This will test the quality of the signal and also measure the speed of that connection, to be sure that your signal is strong enough.

This Roku remote is amazing. It is perfect for all of my needs. I spent many years using a ps4 to watch all of my favorite shows until I switched to this. For all of the specs this product offers, the pricing is excellent. I can download all of my favorite streaming apps along with free Roku channels based on my interests. This Roku makes streaming easy and quick for on the go activities with minimal adaption, which is something I enjoy. I have Spectrum cable. In order to save money on my Spectrum bill, they recommended I buy Roku sticks to get rid of my five boxes in my home. I purchased three of them at Best Buy to take care of 3 of my TVs. There was a limit so I couldn’t buy all 5 there

Needed a way to stream Apple TV to a 2014 Samsung 55” Smart TV - Roku (Express) solved multiple problems. Have since added SideClick - now have single access solution to Netflix, Amazon Video, and Apple TV ... couldn’t be happier.
