This was an open-box item. The description mentioned it only had a dent/gauge which at the store they guaranteed it was only physical damage. They never told me that if it had any defects I would get my money back and had to purchase a new one. To my surprise the refrigerator had a cooling issue (mechanical). I lost all my groceries, medicine and had to throw everything away. The fridge would say it had the correct temperatures of 33F and 0F, but a thermometer evidenced the complete opposite. It was a very disappointing situation and I ended up spending more than $2,000 with everything all together because of this damaged open-box that I’m certain was not properly certified to restock so be careful with open-box items for appliances.

I wish I could review this, but you need a fridge to give a review. I purchased this fridge over a month ago and Best Buy has yet to deliver the item. I have had to reschedule the delivery date FIVE TIMES now, even though Best Buy knew the fridge wouldn’t be available for delivery until January of next year! They don't care if it inconveniences your time and you missing work. And yet they promised me MULTIPLE TIMES that I would receive it this year. They also keep blaming Samsung for the issue. And if they promise you compensation for the trouble, it’s only 0.5 percent of the total cost of the fridge. I’ve heard it all from them at this point. Save yourself the headaches and purchase a completely different fridge.

Unknown to us, the fridge arrived damaged and neither Best Buy or Samsung will do anything about it. From day one, the freezer would have condensation that led to everything in it getting frostbite. We reached out and a tech came out, they determined the fridge has damaged under the freezer drawer which is not visible unless you look under it and the fridge needed to be replaced. Samsung claims it’s physical damage so it is up to Best Buy and Best Buy refuses to do anything since in all the back and fourth the 60 day return window has expired.

I had one of the worst experiences with the appliance. The first refrigerator that was delivered was defective on delivery. I received the replacement which was very inconvenient due to having to remove and install all my food. And less than a year at a refrigerator stopped working properly including the water dispenser and ice maker. The virtual is still under Samsung warranty however they did not honor the replacement. Samsung technicians either did not show up on time or no show which meant I took off work for absolutely nothing. The technician that visited our home admitted that he was not trained to work on Samsung refrigerators and told us to buy an LG. He also stated that the refrigerator wasn't working due to neighborhood plumbing. This was absolutely absurd. I called Samsung to discuss and they agreed that plumbing wasn't the issue. However they proposed to send the same technician back to the house. I escalated the issue with them Samsung and they said it's too complicated. At this point I went back to Best Buy and requested a credit. I would never buy another Samsung device again.

To be clear, the fridge itself is great. What was an absolute nightmare was dealing with best buy customer and delivery service. My delivery date was inexplicably delayed 2x with zero explanation. I was being sent texts up to several hours before my delivery was supposed to arrive telling me to prepare for my delivery. I ended up living without a fridge for over a month. Customer service was frustrating to speak with, as everyone I spoke to gave me different (mis)information. I was promised a gift card as a concession for living weeks without a fridge, but that never happened. Now dealing with similar levels of miscommunication and delay for a tv I ordered. Never buying from here again. Save yourself a massive headache and order from elsewhere

We purchased this refrigerator to replace a 12 year-old Samsung refrigerator. The first refrigerator that was delivered after install and set up had an error code that cannot be cleared. It was finally deemed that it was defective and they would need to deliver another one. The second refrigerator that arrived is having freezing issues. We had a Samsung Repair specialist come out to inspect and we assumed make the repairs needed. But unfortunately, almost 3 weeks later we still have no resolution and no update from Samsung. We have also had intermittent issues with the auto fill water container. Sometimes it fills up and sometimes it doesn’t. Once again still no resolution from Samsung. I would strongly recommend choosing another brand for your refrigerator needs.

Fridge delivered broken (left hinge is pushing down on the middle drawer and doesn't close unless you lift the entire left door. Compounded was the fact that from top to bottom, customer service has failed me. The installer did not bother to unwrap the fridge, and we were left to discover the issue with the fridge. Customer service has then done everything in their power to make this exchange/return as painful as possible. I was told a delivery to exchange the fridge was in place, and when the day came, I called and to my surprise, nothing was scheduled, despite a case number being assigned. My delivery is now off by a whole week because customer service has failed to deliver multiple times now. I've had to chase customer service down constantly to get updates and its incredibly disappointing to have gone through this process. I wouldn't recommend getting appliances from best buy.

The latch to the door broke within a few months of buying it. Samsung is NOT covering it under warranty. So now the door wont close. I regret this purchase.

I have no idea. I bought the refrigerator Nov 20 to be delivered Dec 9, Refrigerator was a floor model at the Florence KY store. Got a text on Dec 8 that something unexpected had come up. When I called the agent told me the refrigerator was not at the warehouse. They rescheduled for Dec 15. In 18 days, there could not organize our delivery.

I like this model and it fits my kitchen well. However, the Best Buy quality control is very concerning. I went to store and saw the open box deal. The Best Buy employee promised the open box items are checked by Best Buy and should function no problem as a new one. However, it is not true. I got my delivery on 11/7. Since then, my fridge is not cooling and my freezer is getting warmer and warmer. Now it’s 72 degrees. The makes a lot of noises and the control penal is not working. It is a damaged fridge. I called the customer service the on 11/7 and chat with the customer service multiple times. The earliest appointment for technician is on 11/17. My old fridge were hauled away and my food went bad the next day. I am unable to reach the back of fridge and unplug the power. It keeps making loud noice and wasting electricity. Also, I have no place to store groceries. I trusted Best Buy and purchased the Best Buy Totaltech membership for extras $200 for this item, and it seems not worth it. Best Buy sales this damaged item and unable to fix it immediately. Very disappointed to this experience. Return for full price can’t cover my lost.

Don’t buy the protection plan from Best Buy, they won’t cover issues with your refrigerator, they will just have you loose time and money. Currently they want me to deal with Samsung directly because they don’t want to exchange and can’t fix the problem, I’m been dealing with the repair and exchange department and no one can step up and do an exchange for a new refrigerator, they’re now just waiting on Samsung to cover parts and labor to repair it. I don’t know why Best Buy are selling protection plans and not covering issues with the product they are selling. I bought the refrigerator with Best Buy not Samsung!

We have had this fridge now for exactly five months and it has died. Have lost everything in the fridge and freezer. Two calls to Samsung have now sucked up over an hour of time and still now closer to resolution. Nothing like spending near $2,500 for something that worked for five months. First Samsung product, and likely the last after this experience.

The refrigerator was not cooling when arrived so we asked for an exchange which we got after 7 days. We hauled away our old fridge so my food from the freezer got wasted. I filed an inconvenience compensation which agreed to give as a gift card but it has been more than one month that we have not received the giftcard

We purchased this Total Protection plan at Best Buy. Our refrigerator was covered for two years which we paid the yearly fee. However an email was sent by Best Buy to us and ended in our spam box. We found it two days after the set extended date of 3/1. Spoke to customer service and geek squad store and what I was told was level 3 supervisor. No one can really help here now since the coverage expired. We hope some one higher can reach out to us.

I really like the refrigerator, but have not had the pleasure of using it. I ordered it three months ago with the assurance it would be delivered before Christmas and it has been delayed three times. The latest is no delivery until mid February and that is after confirmation for delivery on January 28th. I have now cancelled my order since there is no way to know if I will ever see this appliance.

I hit Best Buy when I buying a fridge they said they will install new water line but when they delivered they broke that promised and they said they are not doing even they wrote it down in my receipt and in account but they said no it was went wrong why?? Then I told them ok it is almost more then a moth return it they said no because it is over return policy, I told them that you toke long time not me?? But they didn’t do that.

The first delivery of the fridge was a disaster. The delivery guys dropped it from their truck, damaging it. The replacement fridge arrived some days later. It was plugged in, but never worked. It was a dud. We cancelled the order and bought a fridge from Lowes.
