Bought this as part of a set mainly because I needed a new washer. It does a good job of sensing the load moisture and adjusting the time to dry accordingly. I rated it four for three reasons. 1). I’ve had loads repeatedly come out having one item not completely dry (not a mixed load). 2). The, “done sound”, is not unpleasant but goes on for a solid minute. It’s like the entire first verse of a piece of music. :-). 3). There’s a fibrous material behind the door gasket that’s exposed all the way around. It may be just the way it’s designed but it looks out of place. I’ve included image but you may need to zoom in. Also, and this really isn’t a ding, it doesn’t have any of the connectivity to WiFi like most other Samsung models. I just like to play. :-)

Beyond my expectations! Can't believe it washed my PAW dog blanket and huge dog bed, separately of course. This stacked washer saved me tons of room allowed me to add some great built ins and extra pantry space and is performing excellent!

I purchased the washer and dryer stackable. I choose these units because they were the only small condo size units that were modern stylish and fairly affordable. I love these units! I am very pleased with the Samsung product quality. The dryer works great! Many settings to choose from so your clothes do not get wrinkled. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Best Buy’s delivery/installation services. I Will spare the details but it was a nightmare from start to finish. They should probably stick to what they do best - selling electronics as it is definitely not installing major appliances.

Lots of drying options. Fairly quiet dryer. It does the job in a tight space. Bought one for me and one for my rental property.

So far so good! Have had about a month and does what it says. I like all the different cycles.

My wife loves this dryer! The stackable dryer and companion washer fit in a 3 foot x 4.5 foot closet. Nice size to dry small to medium loads. Many drying options.

I returned this compact washer/dryer set NOT because they're poor performing, but mainly because you do indeed pay a higher price for a lot of extra settings; a fancy song when the cycle ends (vs. just a normal beep or buzz); and the fact that they're VERY compact. They are quite small, which is good, and I've taken photos of the actual measurements from within the manuals themselves for accuracy. For compact washer/dryer units, they really do work as well as standard sized units. I just realized I'm looking for something more basic and less expensive. If you are specifically looking for small units, I really think you'll be pleased with these (hence the 5-star rating), as long as you're willing to pay the extra $ for some extra, fancy stuff.

Machine were delivered but cannot be used because did not know the set needs two (2) different power outlets. Now waiting electrician to add one outlet but without knowing when to happen. Disappointed with the sales not reminding us on this.

We are nearing 18 months of ownership with this washer/dryer, and we are very happy with these appliances. Yes, they are smaller, but we live in a condominium that only fits a 24" washer and dryer in a closet (units are stacked), so we have no complaints there. It fits as advertised, and it is one of the very few vented dryers out there. (Condensation dryers take forever to dry items compared to vented dryers.) Yes, compact units, in general, are more expensive than larger units, but that is the market reality out there. Companies like Samsung don't sell as many of these, so their production costs are going to be higher. We have not experienced to date any mechanical issues with the pair. The wide array of options on these units give you a very good customization of how you want to wash and dry. Compared to our previous compact washers and dryers over the last 25 years (Whirlpool - extremely small, and Asko - I became an expert tearing these apart and repairing them every six months for 15 years!), these are a godsend. Timewise, it gets our clothes clean in a reasonable amount of time for a front loader. Average time to wash a load of laundry on "Normal" is a little over one hour, give or take depending on what other options one chooses. For example, on the extreme end, a full load of white towels washed at "very hot" for the temperature setting and the soil button set to the most soiled setting, and with an extra rinse added takes about 2 hours, 15 minutes. On the other end of the spectrum, a "quick wash" takes about 40-45 minutes. The dryer takes anywhere from 30 - 90 minutes to dry items, depending on the load that is being dried. Usually, a full load of towels (I'm guessing about 6-7 large towels plus a half dozen or more hand and face towels takes 90 minutes or longer. We have washed a large queen blanket with no problem, but items like these (including sheets) need to be repositioned in the dryer every 10-20 minutes as they tend to ball up (it's best to use the timed setting for these items). I do highly recommend that when these units are installed, you watch whoever does the installation closely. I'm surprised at how few of these "experts" that show up to deliver and install appliances don't take the time to do basic things like level the appliances with a bubble level side-to-side and front-to-back to minimize vibration problems. They tend to want to get the install done as soon as possible and get on to their next delivery. I had to request them to level the units and correct them when they only did a side-to-side leveling. Overall, I would recommend these units to anyone needing a compact washer and vented dryer that delivers a solid performance for washing and drying, realizing beforehand that these are compact units and simply will not wash and dry large loads like a full-sized machine.

The dryer itself works fine. Did take two cycle to dry bulky items. Super expansive compared to non-compact machines. But these are the only that fits so oh well... Bestbuy delivery service can be extreme, the first group were kind and easy to interact with. Because we had a issue with the lack of drip pan the second group came took a look and told me to call a plumber. Excuse me that’s not at all what the other delivery people and the other corporate person I spoke with said. And worst of all they just said oh we are going to make a call and then just LEFT!! At one point we just wanted the second group to move the machines upstairs and we can install it ourselves but they didn’t want to do it? Isn’t that your job?!!! It took 3 different delivery teams to finally install this!

We've been using this for about a month now with no major complaints. It is a very good replacement for our old Asko dryer. As this is one of the few compact dryers available that is vented, we're very happy with the time it takes to dry clothes--usually about 40-60 minutes for heavy loads like towels. Shirts and slacks come out without wrinkles, and other loads dry evenly if sorted properly. Our only complaint deals with large articles, such as queen-sized blankets or sheets. As others have reported elsewhere, these articles get rolled up, drying on the outside, but still not dry in the middle when the cycle finishes. One needs to reposition these several times for even drying. Since we only need to do this once or so per week, it is not a major complaint. Recently, my wife has just started drying these kinds of items on "Timed Dry" (with success, according to her) so the sensor doesn't end the drying cycle prematurely. Contrary to the complaints of some that the sound jingles cannot be turned off, it is easily muted by holding the "Sound" button for 3 seconds; however, when drying dress shirts, I turn it on as a reminder the cycle is finished.

The washer is efficient, washes well, and most critical to me, doesn't snag my clothes or rough them u in any way. I like the controls too as they are very intuitive. When both the washer and dryer are finished, they play a little tune which is referable to the annoying buzzer I heard with my last w/d. The dryer does seem to take a little longer to cry my clothe than my previous unit. I'm assuming that's due to the energy saving features.

I bought this a few weeks ago. I have a tight space to fit. My dryer in and this was perfect. People's other reviews I read here and elsewhere say it's small. It is but it dries a normal load of laundry no problem. It's much smaller than my huge washing machine, but it does the job for a family of 5. I never went to store I found this online . I called Penney's and best buy. Best buy gave me a better price and I ordered it right over phone and it was here 3 days later. So nice and easy!

Alot more advanced then the last washer and dryer I had with many different options and settings. Perfect for a smaller laundry room. More energy-efficient and quieter than my last set also !

Good dryer and fits perfectly in my small laundry room. It stacks right on top of the washer. The only thing is that it doesn't always get all my towels dry so I have to add an extra 20 minutes. Otherwise, it is pretty quiet. We like it!

This is my first Samsung appliance purchase and I wish now I had been buying this brand all along. For the past 20 years I have bought and used Bosch dryers. Samsung is 100% better. The manual was easy to understand and the controls are a breeze to use. For example, when I dry shirts and pants I use the permanent press sitting with normal heat and no extra time. Everything comes out perfectly dry. With other dryers I usually have to add extra time to get things dry. This is a great dryer. I originally bought this dryer because it was the only brand available that fit the space I had. So another plus for Samsung is they have readily available appliances that fit small apartment spaces. It was the perfect fit. I highly recommend this dryer.
