The same clothes actually come out of this washer looking newer, cleaner, and in a way I can't explain well, it appears that the materials are better cared for in it... Really. I am so thrilled with the variety of wash settings for each load. It is quieter by far. I have to set the timer upstairs to even know when it's finished. I've even looked to see if the lights are still on when I'm in the same room! The front clean out is an amazingly simplified feature. I love that

I came from similar Samsung washer with a button panel just older my previous machines lasted 9-10yrs. Same functions, it sings when done, has many different washes. I like the active mode setting for my teenage son (great if you have kids with sports)!! I’ve tried to connect it to my WiFi without using the stick. Couldn’t connect but it’s ok no biggie. THE door... let’s talk about that door lol it won’t open ANy time u want it to it will show an unlock sign letting u know the door is currently unlocked. It’s the same as opening the door. It serves no purpose,really. Next, let’s talk about 5.0cu!! Space, space, and more space!!! I have so much more extra room for wash!! If your debating on 4.5 vs 5 I choose 5cu for my family if 4! Spend the extra money if your wanting to save money purchase an open box washer. Beautiful color! Don’t get white it looks cheap! Overall very happy with my purchase would recommend. They do sound a little louder hardly anything but I also hear the powerful jets getting the job done. I calibrated it and it has a self clean option where u run it empty and u really hear those powerful jets. So I know I have a better more powerful machine so that’s ok.

First front loader I've ever owned and I was hesitant about getting the add wash door but I'm very happy with this washer! I've actually used the add wash door several times and this washer got out odors in my clothes that were left in from my old washer in the first wash! This washer does an amazing job getting my clothes and other wash soo clean! I'm beyond happy with my purchase!

This washing machine is great and so big on the inside. I love the fact that it has so many type cycles. I can know wash all my towels in only one wash and just put it on steam, instead of washing them twice with my other machine. It is also very quite so I can still hear my TV shows. I enjoy using my new washer and that little door it has extra to open incase of forget to put something in, like I always do. My friends really like my new washing machine and I strongly do recommend it to all of them.

I saved up for over a year for a new washer and dryer. I am pleased with the pair,wish I had done this sooner.

I purchased the Samsung Electric Dryer and High Efficiency Washer as a pair. Metallic grey with tinted blue doors. They look great sitting on top the matching pedestals. Hi-tech controls, quite operation, thorough cycles, multiple choices for water temperature and easy access to washing machine while in operation is a plus. I plan to have the garage completed around them. Love them both!!

Quality machine, well built, easy to operate! Uses very little water while superior washing job!

The Samsung washer is well-built and nicely finished. The add-clothing door is a nice feature that avoids getting water all over the floor by opening the main door after the cycle has started. (Who’s never had to do that?) You can carefully fit a pair of jeans or a shirt or anything smaller than that through the small extra door—it is handy. The washer performs very well also, it handles giant loads and small ones, too. The many cycles to choose from work very well, and the controls are easy to use. The washer gets clothes very clean, and it seems to use water very wisely, it’s quiet, quick, and holds a good balanced load during spin cycles, regardless of load size. Very pleased with the Damsung washer so far.

We decided to get a new washer after our old one stopped washing clothes as well as it used to. After weeks of research we decided to get this washer. We are coming from a small 3.6 cu ft too load so this 5.0 was magical for us. There are 2 adults. I am pretty tall so all of my clothes are huge compared to everyone else's, and 3 kids. So there's always laundry to be done. With the old washer, when all of the towels are dirty it can take 3 to 4 loads of to wash all of them, and that's about an hour and a half wash time, with the new washer I can wash all the towels in 2 loads with room to spare in the second load and it only takes 46 minutes to wash on normal cycle and that's without the superspeed button. It cleans the clothes very well and haven't had any issues out of it. Due to complaints of mold and mildew smell from All other front load machines not specifically one brand over another, after all the laundry is done or done for the night we typically leave the door cracked for it to dry out. Haven't had any issues though. I tried the self clean feature one day and I am sure it works but it did take nearly 4 hours to do so. The machine is pretty quiet but there are times that it can be loud, but it's not near as bad as the old washer. Also it is very smooth operating and can hardly tell it's running if you hold your hand on it. One thing about this machines compared to the LG that I noticed from a video review on YouTube is that when they added fabric softener it always added time to the washing cycle, like 20 minutes if I am not mistaken. This machine does not have a fabric softener button and does not add time to the cycles. I thought that was a pretty big drawback to the LG that I also looked at. Anyway it was well worth every penny even at the steep cost.

It's been 8+ months that we have been using this washer & so far no major issue to report, things are going smoothly. The various washing options available are very handy when deciding what to do. It's very user friendly. Not too much loud either when in operation. However while trying to wash rugs couple of times it did tripped the fuse, with the door locked in the process. Called Geek Squad the first time & they said the board might got toasted due to too much power going through & needs replacement, they shipped replacement board as well. But after talking to friends who do have Samsung washers I figured out that the fuse connected to the washer got tripped in fact. Why the washer sucked so much power that tripped the fuse is something a concern for a very heavy load (when this model is expected to handle heavy loads) - hence my 4 star rating. But overall a good product to invest your money.

Great Washer Very Simple to Use! Love their Small Door for the forgettable item. A little Pricey but well worth it!

We owned a previous Samsung washer for 8 years and like the brand. We left older washer with buyer of old house. We liked the look and size of this washer from the start. The black finish looks great and wipes away easy and doesn't show finger prints like normal stainless products. Functionally the washer has worked great for the first two months of ownership. Clothes come out very clean and you can tell that the washer does use less water and a high spin since clothes come out only a little damp prior to drying. The washer is plenty big to wash a large load and likely a bed comforter but we haven't tried that yet. Large towel loads work great and no balance or noise issues. The VRT+ works great and is quiet enough to do laundry later at night while kids are sleeping. We have used the add wash feature a few times and works great after you pause the washer as other reviews have noted. Great product, would highly recommend.

Carries heavier load than our old dryer, runs quieter and seems to be more efficient.

So far so good, I love the fact that it is huge and I can save time doing laundry. It is not noisy at all. I do laundry almost everyday total of 8 loads every week with our old machine, I am hoping to cut it down with this laundry machine. I love the fact that I can actually wash quilt queen size.

I didn't want to buy a new machine,but I am so glad I did. Love this machine!. The capacity is awesome, the features are fantastic.

I've had great luck with this washer so far. We've had it for about a month and it is very quiet, it does a good job of washing clothes, and it is pretty quick too. Using Tide pods for detergent is what we normally do and we have had a couple of the pods not completely dissolve and/or they get stuck to a garment but we also had that issue when we went to the laundromat and used their washers so it is not anything different. Even if the pods don't completely dissolve or gets stuck to a garment, the rest of the clothes get very clean and the undissolved pod will dissolve the rest of the way if you put it through the washer again. Overall I am very happy with this washer and am waiting for the release of the Samsung home adapter so it can connect to the wifi so we can monitor the status of the washer.
