We purchased this dryer and the matching washer exactly 6 months ago and it was great. Big capacity, quiet & efficient....until this week. The dryer randomly stopped producing heat. Literally, no heat at all! There was no lint build up or anything like that and no issues with our gas valve. We first called Samsung directly who was working on it for 6 hours today, but the technician couldn't repair it and advised he'd come back a different day with additional parts which is frustrating since we need dry clean clothes for our kid (Toddlers are very messy with their food!). I really hope they can fix it asap. Thankfully, I purchased Total Tech protection so Best Buy can replace it for free if it is unable to be repaired. Hopefully, manufacturers stop producing appliances that are made to break. I say all this because it is a fantastic dryer when it is working. Maybe I just received a faulty one, but who knows. Beware.

Looks nice and has high capacity. However normal or any of the “sensor dry modes”. So far putting things in a few times to get them dry. Timed dry works better.

Looks beautiful but Dryer doesn’t dry. Small load going, literally a towel and 3 pairs of jeans, end of cycle and still not dry. Try to run another cycle and it shuts off after 5 mins. Even after unselecting Eco option. Wish I bought something else.

Will never buy another Samsung appliance. Purchased this with the matching washer and they’ve been nothing but trouble. Yes it dries the clothes, but Samsung installed an incorrect electrical panel so all the lights light up incorrectly. It’s more of a nuisance, but you’d think they’d have figured it out by now. The replacement part is backordered for so long that Best Buy stopped trying to help us with it and told us to contact Samsung directly.

I’m guessing the steam part works but not holding my breath! Average dry time even for microfiber towels that are quick drying is two hours! A regular load of shirts closer to three hours! For 22 days now I have been wishing for my old dryer! Yes, I got a new dryer duct. Yes, I have tried numerous settings. If you have all day to do a single load of laundry then this is the dryer for you!
