I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Evo for everyday work, and it holds up well for browsing, emails, and documents. The screen is bright and the laptop feels light and easy to carry, but the performance dips when I try anything more intensive. Great for simple productivity, not ideal if you need heavy multitasking or creative workloads.

The Samsung GalaxyBook4 360 2-in-1 laptop has many wonderful features that make it a good choice for many consumers. However, it is a compromise from the Pro version and there are some concerns with the build quality. I'll start with what this laptop has done right. 1. It is lightweight and slim. Coming in at just over three pounds and with a compact power supply, this laptop is very portable. It easily fits in my backpack, and when I'm on my bike commuting, it does not put a lot of extra strain on my back or take up a lot of real estate in my bag. 2. The keyboard and trackpad function very well. This laptop has a nearly full-size keyboard, which includes a number pad. The keystrokes are shallow, but have good feel and the spacing between keys is comfortable. The trackpad is large and amply responsive. The left- and right- mouse buttons are easy to find and activate consistently. The keyboard is also backlit. 3. The screen is bright and crisp. The AMOLED display is an asset to this laptop. It is not the 3K display that is on the Pro version, but the brightness is ample enough to use outside (although there is screen glare outdoors) and the display is crisp at multiple resolution settings. 4. The SSD read / write speed is phenomenal. Using CrystalMark as my benchmarking tool, I was able to achieve read/write speeds about 30% higher than similar laptops. This is mainly because of the high-end NVMe storage. 5. The overall responsiveness is good. The Intel Core 7 Series 1 CPU with the 16GB of RAM provides nice performance for most everyday office use. Executing Geekbench, I received similar results to an Intel 5 Ultra CPU in a competitor's laptop (1745 single core, 7180 multi-core). Scrolling was smooth, and there was no apparent lag with any of my everyday work tasks. 6. The 2-in-1 Feature is convenient. I've used 2-in-1 systems for several years, and one of the biggest advantages is on an airplane. When all the laptop users are forced to power down and put thier systems away during take-off and landing, a 2-in-1 looks like an iPad or tablet when folded in half. The airline attendants have never once asked me to put mine away or power it down. There are also small magnets that help secure the 2-in-1 in it's fully folded position--a nice add. 7. Wi-Fi responsiveness and range are great. I always had a fast and reliable connection, regardless of where I was in the house or on the backyard deck. 8. A good number of ports. USB-A (thank you), USB-C / Thunderbolt, plus an HDMI-out negate the dire need for a docking station. Although do note that when using the charger that one USB-C port is used, and both USB-C ports are on the same side of the laptop. Now, the not so good: 1. Intel Core instead of Intel Ultra. The Intel Core processor differs significantly from the Intel Ultra processors. First, the integrated graphics (Iris for the Core and ARC for the Ultra). There is a significant performance difference between the two. During a video encoding from MKV to MP4, this laptop achieved an average of 60 frames per second (for a 70-minute total encode time) versus nearly 100 FPS for a competitor's Intel Ultra processor (for a 40-minute total encode time). In addition, the Geekbench GPU score was 30% higher with the Ultra versus the Core. While neither system is great for modern gaming, this laptop will be more limited--but will play older games or games with less demand for GPU processing just fine. I would have rather had the stepdown from the Pro be from an Utra 7 to an Ultra 5 instead of an Ultra 7 to a Core 7. Second is the inclusion of an NPU. An NPU does a good job of balancing the work between the CPU and the GPU to preserve battery life and help the laptop run cooler. When running the Task Manager, there is no evidence of an NPU. (Yet I find it curious that the keyboard has the Windows CoPilot key). 2. Build quality could be better. Don't get me wrong, the laptop looks and feels great. However, the bottom panel (near where the fan vents are) flexes in and out when I pick up the laptop from the bottom after the laptop has been on for only a few minutes. In addition, when opening the laptop from one of the corners instead of the center, there is considerable screen flex. 3. There is significant bloatware. I was astounded at the number of redundant Samsung "apps" that were pre-loaded on the laptop. In addition, there were both US and Mexico versions of Microsoft 365. McAfee was also pre-installed. Instead of uninstalling all the bloat, I just wiped the entire system clean and installed Windows 11 Home from scratch with a bootable USB and a USB Wi-Fi dongle to get Windows Update started. There were no issues with Windows Update identifying all the laptop's components, and I was up and running again with a non-bloated system in under 30 minutes. If any of the Samsung apps are needed in the future, they are all at Samsung.com or even in the Microsoft Store. 4. The speakers are quite lacking. While the speakers have good volume levels and support Dolby, the bass response is quite poor. Even using an equalizer, I could never get the speakers to sound as rich or as full as I like. 5. Battery life was good, but not amazing. I was able to get about 6 hours of battery life with normal load on the sytem (Office, Minitab, Chrome wih multiple tabs, 60% screen brightness). The advertised battery life was signficantly higher, but their loading was probably not as high. The battery does charge quickly, bringing it from less than 20% to 100% in about two hours. In conclusion, laptops are very personal choices. What is good for me might not be good for you, and vice versa. This laptop does a lot of things well, but other things not so well--it depends on what you're looking for.

I really like this laptop because it’s light, easy to carry, and can flip into a tablet. The screen looks really clear and bright, and the battery lasts me most of the day. It runs smooth for school and everyday stuff. I like that the keyboard lights up but sometimes it dosent register my inputs. Overall, it’s a good laptop if you want something portable and flexible.

The Samsung - Galaxy Book4 360 2-in-1 15.6" FHD AMOLED Touch Screen Laptop is a nicely outfitted laptop for general use. It has excellent compatibility when you are using a Samsung Galaxy phone along side it as well. In my testing I found this Windows 11 based system powered by an Intel Core 7 Series 1 150U Evo Processer paired with 16 GB of Low-power Double Data (LPDDR5) rate RAM and a 512 GB NVMe SSD to be quite a useful machine. The screen of this laptop is a 15.6 AMOLED FHD (1920x1080) Touch screen with a 370 Nits brightness, and it is a beautiful screen. Additional features of this device include 1 HDMI 1.4 and 2 Thunderbolt 4 Display connectors. The Thunderbolt 4 connectors of course also act as USB-C ports. Charging ports, in addition to their ability to drive external displays. It also boasts a USB-A 3.2 connector and a MicroSD card slot that can support 2TB of additional storage. The device weighs 3.8 lbs. with its power cable included, has WI-FI 6E using the AX standard. The system’s lithium-ion battery is rated at 22 hours and 4405 mAh. This laptop has good sound for a 2W x 2 stereo speaker system. The audio testing I performed had good spatial sounds and full sounding spectrum. This is due to the Dolby Atmos audio technology involved with the sound system. Since this is a 2-in-1 system (laptop and tablet) the speakers are pointed out of the bottom of the device and this placement could aid the sound based on the surface the device is resting on. This also means it can be used in “presenter mode” where the screen is facing the user, and the keyboard is on the surface the device is resting on, placing the speakers facing up and behind the screen – making it a good solution for streaming video. In reading the device’s documentation this device will support the S Pen Pro Edition and S Pen Creator Edition (not included in this package) adding to the device’s usage in its tablet mode. Finally, the device supports Copilot personal AI assistance. Usage Impressions The screen is wonderful, has good responsiveness and contrast. I tested this with a portable monitor system that I own, and it can be used with it even though it is technically wider than the stand is rated for. In this case the system supports its own screen plus 2 others that make up the stand. The last area tested was multi-monitor support via my desktop setup which has 3 screens running via the USB-C/Thunderbolt port and a 4th screen via USB Display Link. I was able to run the primary display and all four 4 external displays including an external 4K display for a total of 5 displays. Summary The Samsung - Galaxy Book4 360 2-in-1 is an impressive laptop considering that it likely falls into the upper entry level or perhaps initial mid-level tier of systems. It has outstanding features and capabilities and shines as both a laptop and a tablet. With all the features and capabilities this laptop will help one to accomplish any task they set out for it to accomplish. Pros: Multi-monitor support, graphics, and sound, 2-in-1 features. Cons: Weight is a bit of concern in tablet mode.

I absolutely love everything about this laptop. From the moment I unboxed it, the aesthetics were a solid 10—the sleek stainless feel, the elegant color, and the slim yet sturdy build all make it a standout. The screen size is perfect, and the weight and thickness strike a great balance between portability and durability. It’s versatile, responsive, and feels premium in every way. Tech-wise, it’s no slouch either. The speakers are surprisingly good, the memory and processor handle multitasking with ease, and the touchscreen is a fantastic bonus that adds to its flexibility. Whether I’m working, browsing, or streaming, it performs beautifully. But the cherry on top? I got it at nearly 50% off, which made it an even sweeter deal. That said, I did run into a hiccup during the purchase. There was an additional $50 discount showing online that didn’t reflect at checkout. I drove 40 miles round trip to a Best Buy location hoping to resolve it, but despite speaking with several patient and well-meaning reps, no one could figure out how to apply the extra discount. In the end, I paid the listed price and had it shipped to me anyway. While the customer service experience left me a bit disappointed, it doesn’t take away from how much I appreciate the laptop itself. If not for that minor issue, this would’ve been a full 5-star review. Still, I highly recommend the Galaxy Book4 360—it’s a fantastic device that delivers on both form and function.

Great laptop! Easy to use, fast processor. Also can be used for gaming. Definitely getting another one for the house.

Feels, works, and looks great! The hinges feel solid when moving the screen, which is rare in 360 laptops, and the screen is gorgeous. The weight of it seems pretty good for the specs, as I prefer lighter and more portable laptops, and the memory seems pretty good, plus the ability to use a card is great. Only issue is that it seems to run somewhat slowly, but it may just be my internet. Overall a great buy, but points are docked for the lack of clarity on which pen works with it, as well as the amount of updates it's constantly undergoing. Also the battery life only last about eight hours with basic online usage, which is mildly underwhelming.

Loved this laptop, it was a gorgeous and very efficient, fast laptop but I had to return because i couldn’t play one of my games on it. Kept freezing, flickering and lagging. This laptop is good for students though because it’s so quick and very lightweight; it’s very portable and you can use the Samsung Spen on it or any other stylus. You can flip it, and use it to take notes or watch movies in tent form. Love it but had to return to buy a gaming laptop in which I love already!

This laptop is primarily a secondary computer for work. It is incredibly fast, very sturdy and the build quality is great. The one downside to this laptop is the memory is not expandable, so what you get upon purchase is all you'll get. Favorite aspects of the Book4 360 is the footprint, weight, build quality and the screen that is incredibly clear, limits the glare and is easy on the eyes.

BestBuy offered the best price I could find on this Samsung Galaxy laptop. The laptop arrived on time and the packaging was adequate. One of the reasons I selected the Samsung Galaxy Book4 was the high rating Consumer Reports (CR) had given it (72). The others were 16GB memory, 512 GB SSD, 15.6" screen, an Intel Core 7 all in a light weight, portable laptop. So far I have two issues with this laptop. 1. The Wi-Fi receiver is weak and frequently looses the connection where my Apple MacBook Pro operates flawlessly. The signal through an open door to my porch apparently is not sufficient for the Samsung to hold on to. My MacBook Pro operates without a hitch with the dorrs closed. 2. The battery life is not what I expected. CR reported up to 18 hours for typical web-surfing. I get about 5 or 6 before I need to recharge. Loading Office and moving data onto it required several recharges. Sure hope the battery lasts longer with my typical work load.

[Employee of bestbuy] Superb screen and specs to back it up. This laptop is thin and extremely light; however, it does tend to get quite hot. The AMOLED touchscreen is simply addictive to use, pairing well with the fold-over 360 capability.

Overall a good laptop for the price. Lightweight, beautiful AMOLED display, touchscreen, but not as smooth as MacBooks.

Very solid product but not greatest durability. I’ve taken care of it but expected it to last longer given price.

I purchased online through Best Buy an Open Box Samsung laptop. When it was shipped to me (a day early, thank you) - it has ZERO drivers installed. I didn't know that was why the touchscreen, touchpad and keyboard didn't work, so I call BB and was instructed to drive 20 miles to the nearest BB, where I spent 2+ hours waiting for all the Drivers to be installed because they wiped the computer but never finished the install. I'm still struggling with Drivers on my own - My audio input (microphone) driver is incomplete and 3 hours on chat with Microsoft, 2 on chat with Samsung and another hour on chat with Best Buy and my options are to PAY $40 to take it to BB or reset the laptop, so that would be another afternoon away from work and paying more for something that should be here. I love the laptop and I'm not complaining about Best Buy. But this is a little much. Tech support in store - Josh - was amazing.

Overall good laptop with some control over touch settings. Still have not tried remote mouse and need to update it. Do dislike presence of ads! Would prefer old laptop. Some apps do use customized ads but this system seems to be dominated by them.

Great computer. Fast and capable. The keyboard and touch pad is placement is very functional. The screen is large and vibrant, the only down fall is the delicate screen. This computer would have gotten 5 stars but the screen can crack easily. Just be careful in transporting this laptop.
