This new tablet is not user-friendly at all for a senior who has prior experience. I have tried setting this up and so far spent 30 minutes and cannot get it completely done of what it's asking for. It does not allow me to even get into the system where I could check my mail or go to facebook! So for forgetting an a to an F; I have to give it an F at this time and it's taken me three weeks to get this far as I was in a vehicle accident and dealing with paperwork and phone calls galore daily or I would've completed this sooner.

Tablet purchased May 30, 2024. Mainly used to read books, and download netflix to watch while traveling. Started having issues with the A9's wi-fi, a couple of months after purchase. Noticed webpages taking longer to load, and wi-fi connectivity kept getting slower and slower. I'd notice the wifi icon go from white, connected, and then go gray, disconnected, every 10 seconds. I'd stand by my home router with no improvement. Supposedly, the tablet has a 1 year warranty. Called Samsung Support on October 15, and was told it would be covered under warranty. I shipped it to their repair center, and they received it. 7 days later I receive an email (10/22) stating that after careful consideration, they decided that it's not under warranty. No explanation as to why it's not under warranty. I paid $269 for this, and they want to charge me $172 to fix it. It's only 5 months old. I tried calling Samsung that same day, and was in the call queue on hold for 30 minutes, when the call dropped. That happened twice. Decided to call first thing in the morning, when they opened. Called and was on hold 27 minutes, before the call was dropped. Called right back, and got through. Checked email (10/23), and saw that Samsung is shipping unrepaired tablet back to me, still no explanation. Spoke to Samsung Customer Service and the rep was able to give me an explanation. He stated that warranty was voided due to motherboard damage, due to impact, and that it would need replacing. I keep a case on the tablet. It may have dropped from my desk, onto the carpeted floor maybe twice. The wi-fi chip is soldered on the motherboard. The only way to replace anything on this tablet, is to replace the entire motherboard. All components are soldered on. Very convenient to use this as an excuse to void warranty. Wish I'd looked at the complaints on reddit, because evidently poor wi-fi connectivity is a common issue with this model of tablet. Avoid Samsung. Some may say that I should have handled with care better. I'm an adult, so I don't intentionally drop my electronic devices. I paid too much money to be careless. But you live an learn. Last Samsung product for me. This is the second Samsung product that I own, that didn't live up to expectation.

Samsung's claim of a one-year warranty is a lie. When I got the unit, it was slow to charge. I figured that's just how it was, but it has continued to get worse and worse, in the 4.5 months that I've owned it. Now it takes me several hours to charge it enough to use it. Clearly the item is defective, and BestBuy agreed when I took it in. But they said I had to go through Samsung, who wants me to pay $99 up front for them to decide whether they think it's covered. I have taken very good care of the unit and it looks almost new. The unit is probably fine if you don't get a lemon, but don't put any stock in their so-called "warranty," because it's worthless.

The screen brightens and dims intermittently any time I use it. The battery barely lasts 2 days not using it. I read plenty of reviews praising the battery life but that is certainly not the case with mine. Ive had several Galaxy tablets over the years and this is by far at the bottom of the list. The others were 100% better.But age and battery issues forced me to upgrade. Unfortunately my new purchase was not an upgrade , but an inferior replacement

Not a very well put together tab. Fragile, SD mini card got stuck into the poor manufactured slot and tray. Very short time you can return the item if not satisfied.

There are a couple of things that may be causing the problem. For example, you may simply need to replace a worn out USB cable, or make sure you're using the correct charger. Ads play sound, regardless of system sound setting. Ads show up constantly, pushed by Samsung. Browsing only, yet 5-10 seconds frequently, for pageloads. 128GB? Wouldn't know it, based on performace. Horrible Samsung apps. Not only are they almost useless, they include ads as well! Returning.

This product wasn't as expected , for the price i figured it would be great to use for certain things like videos and maybe entertainment for a child: however it ran extremely slow from opening, nice look to the device but it Didint run as expected.

I wished I'd gone with a small laptop instead. Having a separate cover, separate keyboard, etc is not convenient for me at all. It's cumbersome setting it up, irritating to attempt to keep it stable. Now that I've come to this conclusion... I see it's non returnable. Great...
