Even with the extra RAM it still lags with only one app open. If you plan on basic media consumption like YouTube or Netlfix itll work fine but if you plan on heavy use then I would spring for one of the S series with a better processor.

The display is crisp and it's not real heavy, though the low battery life lets it down somewhat. I have another similar tablet that both charges quicker and runs down slower, though the display doesn't look as nice so that is an acceptable tradeoff. What isn't acceptable to me is the placement of the power button right next to the volume controls. It's really easy to accidentally hit the power button instead of volume up as they are VERY close together, infact the volume + button is closer to the power button than it is to the volume - button. How did this get past QA? It's a decent tablet for the price if you aren't bothered by the poor button placement.

For a basic, sub-$200 tablet, the A9 does many things well. Nice screen, fairly snappy performance (with 8GB RAM). Battery life and charge time leave a bit to be desired, but overall, it’s a decent tablet for the money. However, there are some major design flaws that would prevent me from purchasing a Galaxy tablet again. The biggest flaw is the usb-C charging port. A quick google search will reveal that a faulty charging port is a common issue. My daughter’s tablet stopped charging inexplicably, one month after the warranty expired. Never dropped, exposed to moisture, and generally treated very well in that one year span. The only fix was for me to remove the screen completely and swap out the port. Thankfully I am skilled enough to do this, but that is not the case for most consumers, and bringing it to a repair shop would likely cost more than the tablet is worth. If I were to do it all over again, I would have just spent the extra money on an iPad.

I loved the size the ability to add storage i was not a fan off cpu speed or screen quality. 90 hz was nice but i ended up returning for new ipad a16 and happy i did.

The tablet itself was great and did everything my daughter wanted it to do. Unfortunately the charging port is completely broken after one year, rendering this tablet useless. Beware!

-False advertisement:neither Samsung nor Best buy offered the peacock subscription -wifi connectivity issues -I had to search multiple times through the settings, even after Samsung's website said there wasn't a way to turn off the screen sensors. If you hold the screen just right it makes the screen go black -battery life is decent and so is the multi screens, but you have to turn on that setting. There is also a setting for battery saving -moderate loading speeds

This tablet is soooo slow starting up. The program asks for pin to open "and to close". What's up with that? In fact, I often have to try several times to get this tablet to shut down as it keeps putting me into 'safe mode' when I want to shut down. Once I can get into the tablet, I do like it.

bought online it does not come with sd card also cant get Amazon app on this A9+ now, I wish someone would have talked to me about this purchase when I picked up then I could have bought a sd card there, I had to ask for help in compiter area but I walked back to tv area got asked if I needed heip by 4 workers

I don't like the Samsung ecosystem. There's no face or fingerprint unlocking. The Samsung ecosystem is very annoying, very inconvenient. Without the Samsung ecosystem, it would be much better and more convenient.

I don't like how fast the battery dies.!! Bought this for my grandson to upgrade his kids fire rablet. Was convinced by the sales rep would be better more storage, faster. The part he left out the battery does not last no where near as long as the kids fire. He could be on his old tablet ALL DAY not run out, this one after about 4-6 hrs is going to be dead. He has to keep in the charger sometimes. Absolutely hate it!!! Should have just bought a Sim card like I was going to!!

The tablet is great however it is not compatible with my Amzfit watch like I was told. The very reason I bought it. As far as I am concerned, it wasted $100.00. Unfortunately, by the time I got it up and running, it was too late to return. I am using it For everything else, it is working as normal. It works as good as my old tablet.

Works great but occasionally screen locks up. Suggest using fingerprint or other security method. Otherwise works fantastic, especially for downloading movies.

Seems like a decent product at a fair price. But the quick activation instructions begin by advising to insert SD card (not included) and charge with enclosed cable with Type C adapter (not included) as a power plug is not included either. Wonder what else I may discover is not included.
