This is one of the best tablets I've ever owned. From the build quality to Android functionality, it's great. The tablet is incredibly thin and lightweight but doesn't feel cheaply made. The 4.3 aspect ratio of the screen is great for anyone considering transitioning from an iPad. The power, volume, and home buttons are easy to press. The back of the tablet is slightly rubberized to that it doesn't slip out of your hands. The screen bezel is very thin so the display area is maximized. The screen itself is great. Very bright, produces vivid colors, and is great for watching HD videos on NetFlix or YouTube. Game play is good as well. The octa-core Exynos processor seems to be handling games (Asphalt 8 and Carrier Landings Pro) just fine. Android Marshmallow (v.6) runs very smooth with no lag. Android 6 supports multi tasking through split screen but not all apps are supported. I usually root my tablets and install custom firmware, but this table runs Android M so well there really isn't any need. I've been running the tablet for about 2 months now and I haven't run into any app force close issues. If you're looking for a tablet that is fast, stable, thin, and lightweight, the Samsung Tab S2 fits the bill.

So light so thin so powerful such a good price... got it cyber Monday ...great for traveling ... hardly adds any weight to my purse and battery last looong looong time .... highly recommend ... researched all kinds of tablets before I chose ...

We purchased this tablet to go to Alaska and keep a journal and take additional pictures. With limited internet we didn't want to take our laptop and drag that along. I purchased the separated keyboard to use when we were not on the road. The size and weight of the tablet was great. The keyboard worked great at night or when you had extra space to type. Camera on tablet took good pictures up close or mid distance, but you lost clarity when you tried to fully zoom.

This is an outstanding Tablet, I purchased the first Tablet for my wife on her Birthday in April. The speed and quality of the table was impressive, it was so impressive that I purchased a second Samsung - Galaxy Tab S2 - 8" - 32GB – Black for my daughter’s Birthday in July! I wish Samsung had more options for the matching cover it would be nice to have more options, let’s say pink. The 8” is the perfect size for ease of use. I purchased a 64 GB Micro SD Card and if need be I can upgrade the Micro SD to 128 GB. You can pay less for a Tablet but you will not receive the Quality or Dependability of the Samsung - Galaxy Tab S2!

I was saving to upgrade to a better device, and this surely fits the bill. It's size is practical, the device is light weight.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8" is a phenomenal tablet. It feels great in your hands. It's sleek. It has a great design. It boots up practically instantly. It's really fun and easy to use. It's not as big as it's 9.7" cousin but the size is sufficient for anything you would want to use a tablet for. Like it's big cousin this 8" version also has a micro sd capability to expand memory storage an additional 128 GB. THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS TABLET IS MARVELOUS. And The Price Is Compelling!!

I bought this Tablet to use with my Drone 4K Videos. It is perfect even for large file Videos and Photos. The player is crystal clear and no pauses.

I saw one that a friend had. He got hios at Best Buy. I have bought quite a few thing from Best Buy and had good luck with them. The tablet is the right size for me to use in bed and also when I travel. I have various Samsung products. The support and customer service at Best Buy is super.

Great size, great screen, amazing battery life. This makes my endless hours of cardio fly by. I am on this everyday keeping entertained while performing mindless cardio. Also has saved my sanity in numerous flights. I use this for music while cooking. I like the smaller size for traveling, especially when packed into the bags of my motorcycle. Only downfall is wimpy speakers but I'm using headphones or a Bluetooth speaker 99% if the time so it's ok. If you want an Android tablet going with tht S series is with it for the extra processing power and storage.

Waited through the first few generations of Android tabs to let the manufacturers work some of the bugs out, and the 8.0 Galaxy Tablet sparked my interest due to the 4:3 aspect ratio screen for zoom/pinch-free reading. Aside from the lack of vibrate function, and slightly odd stereo speaker placement (bottom edge) I've been pretty impressed by it's speed and capability. Does drain battery somewhat quickly under heavy workload or with brightness adjusted very high - as I would expect, but unless using it in direct outdoor sunlight, the brightness level doesn't need to be set very high at all. Even at 50%, this screen is VERY bright and colorful, and turned up over 75%, almost blindingly so! Also, for those who travel or actively use their tablet for work, etc., as I do, this size is fantastic. It's small enough to be compact for fitting in a large pullover hoodie pocket or backpack pocket (and weighs next to nothing), yet large enough for reading e-books *comfortably* one-handed, without the dreaded "phone reading strain" on the eyes. Nice for media / light gaming in landscape mode with some headphones, as well. Very good so far.

I'm slightly familiar with Android operating systems, and Samsung brand. This tablet has expandable memory, which my prior tablet (not Samsung) did not have. The display is big enough to read, not to mention looks fantastic. Easy for me to figure out new (to me) features, still exploring all of them. Was excited to find I could print from this tablet (wirelessly send to my existing printer). Very, very happy with this purchase!

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is an excellent tablet that is built very well and performs great. The screen is captivating and it's weight makes it a pleasure to hold. I can say after a month of heavy use the tab s2 is still extremely fast and fluid running Android 6.0.1. There are only two problems I have with the tablet. First and biggest issue is the sound. It has only one speaker that is weak and underpowered, at least in comparison to the ipad mini 4. I believe all tablets should have two front facing speakers. It just works best and doesn't seem to difficult or expensive to do. The second and only other gripe I have is although I like holding it because of it's size and weight it's bezel isn't as rounded as the ipad mini 4 and it bothers my hand when holding it certain ways. Overall I think this is a great tablet and would highly recommend it.

I'm really happy with this tablet. I bought it as an upgrade to an older Samsung tablet I have. Excellent screen resolution, beautiful colors. Fast processors......... The perfect companion with my smartphone. Everything I wanted in a tablet is here. Thin, lightweight......... The only complaint I have is that the battery life could be better. Which is why I gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars.

I enjoy the size and weight of this tablet. It has great camera and picture quality. Although I've added a protection cover, which includes a kick stand and hand strap that adds additional weight to the tablet, it is still extremely light in my hand. You won't be disappointed.

This is a very zippy tablet with ample system space and beautiful display. Under heavy use, it does get a little warm as well as drains battery rather quickly. For example, if making Skype video calls you can chew through a battery in about 2 hours. If 50/50 sleep and active use, I get about 8-10 hours battery life. I use mainly O365 (a lot of eMail and Outlook), Skype for Business, Twitter, XFinity WiFi app and ESET Mobile Security daily, and occasional Google apps like Maps, Search, YouTube, etc. The cameras are average image quality and the speakers are fairly small and poor so plan to use earbuds for some functionality. I was hoping to use as a car GPS but even max volume is not very distinguishable in a car setting. The GPS does work fantastic and the Wifi is great. GPS acquires position quickly and handles interference (bridges, overpasses, tunnels) well and the WiFi gets a strong, solid, fast signal even with weak or far access points. Construction is solid. No concerns in my pocket getting in and out of cars, chairs, etc. as it does not flex and built strong. Light drops are fine too. Screen is bright, wonderful color and amazing contrast. The screen is also very strong and incredibly scratch resistant. Cat game tested and polydactyl cat approved with NO scratches after rigorous fish and mouse scratching high-scores. Touch screen/tactile feel is above average. Lighter taps have good reponse. Swipe and gestures are positive with little error even initially. Price point is a bit high, especially given it's a 3GB RAM memory device with 2kx1.5k display, but the 32GB system storage is spacious.. so look for sales.

I love my tablet, the size is perfect to take it anywhere, especially in my travels, to be able to do my personal business. It is thin and super light. the videos and movies look excellent. It is super fast. I am very happy with the purchase I made.

I had an Lenovo tablet that I was replacing. Didn't want to go too large. I also needed more memory. This is the perfect size for me and very lightweight. Have always liked Samsung so this was a no brainer. Very easy to use. No instructions needed.

Fast, Light, and slim. Works very good, functions are fluid, and can operate multiple apps without getting hot.

Yes, I love my Samsung Tablet! Galaxy S2 - 32 GB, Gold, octa-core. It's lightweight, it's speedy. Great camera. I downloaded several of my favorite apps. I can read documents, reply to email. And I'm a kindle speed reader. The battery is very functional for me. And I paired it with a Flintie keyboard and case that I purchased online. What a great light weight alternative to packing a laptop. If you're thinking about purchase - I say yes. (Unless you are a very large man - then I recommend packing the laptop. :) )
